Soothing Oasis Massage

Absolutely the worst massage ever. Went to this place because of the Unilocal reviews for a couples massage with my boyfriend. The room was tiny– we could barely move around… they had cheap tables that you could feel the wood on your face. The guy who did my massage was pushing on my cervical spine and always in the same place… I don’t even think he was licensed. I wanted to cry. I told him to stop but my neck was already tense and in spasm. Then he went to my lower back and was doing the same thing– pushing across the bones of my spine. I’m a physical therapist and this is how you hurt someone. I stopped 20 minutes into the massage and left. On top of the horrible manual skills he was speaking on and off in Chinese or Japanese… Wore socks sweats and flip flops… And he kept clearing his throat. I left more tense than I went in by far. Then, the owner tried to charge us for ½ hour… I looked at her and told her what happened and said we’ll pay for my boyfriend only. I don’t care about the money– it’s the principle… Maybe she is great at what she does but her workers need to be better trained and more professional. They also should ask if you have any injuries before you get on the table– I don’t but maybe I will now…

With all of the things that I do for work and personal life, which, I assume, many could relate to, I experience a lot of stress.
At the end of the day, one that can help me beat the stress is a relaxing foot massage.
If you want to experience this same feeling of relaxation, I would suggest that you head to Oasis massage in Plantation and ask for Bart. He knew exactly what I was looking for plus the establishment is very clean.

Excellent foot massage/​reflexology. The massage lasted exactly ½ hour and I nearly fell asleep. I left feeling lighter and less stressed in this busy time of year. I will definitely go back.

By far one of the best acupressure massages I’ve ever had! I walked in with with horrible right shoulder pain and walked out completely pain free and extra relaxed to boot! Highly recommend this place!

Worse place ever. The guy who give me the massage was terrible. I ended with a terrible headache. The noises are loud, and I hate when they Start speaking in a Chinese lenguaje. Plus like 1 hour never was gonna end the cook or something, because the smell was like fish. They cleaned the place while I was there. Nono no o no, please don’t waist your money.

Massage was good. Even though I called ahead of time to make an appointment my husband and I still had to wait around for additional therapist. They want you to pay first and even tip at the beginning. I told them I would tip in cash when done. So 45mins massage went by and it was OK but this is coming from someone that is hard to get into «relax mode». We paid $ 110 for service and I tipped $ 24 cash. They begin chatting in their language and then pretty much said the tip was low. Not a spa expert on tipping I did not know so I gave them $ 20 each. When I left, all I could think was why didn’t they charge me $ 125 or something if they are expecting more. Will I go back? Probably not.

Worst massage ever! The massage therapist was doing and stretching my neck I ended up with such a bad headache by the time she try to do the stretch again. She robbed me 15 minutes of my massage and charge me for an hour. Their prices are higher than the other places of gone to but I wanted to give them a try. I would never go back!

If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. This was absolutely the worst massage I have ever had, and ridiculously expensive too. I am new to the area and I read all of the Unilocal reviews before deciding to come here. It does not live up to its reputation.
I requested a deep tissue massage when the throat came in. I received something less than a Swedish after repeatedly asking for her to apply more pressure.
When I was paying, I was hit up for a larger tip then I was already giving. I really don’t understand how this place has gotten so many good reviews.

Giving 4 stars for a well priced, firm massage. Saw the Unilocal reviews and had to try this place since it’s very close to my house. Lisa was my therapist and she was very good. I paid $ 72.00+ tip for a one hour massage. I requested medium pressure and Lisa’s medium pressure what quite strong but it felt great on my tight shoulders. She asked me several times if the pressure was okay.
The place appears clean and Lisa took me right away.
The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because communication was a bit of an issue. In my case it wasn’t a problem but if you have any injuries or serious issues that could be exasperated by twisting, stretching, pressure I might avoid this place.
This is a strong massage but really different and enjoyable. I will return, hopefully soon.

I have been a regular client of Soothing Oasis for the past 5 years. For the first 4 years, Judy was my masseuse of choice. Unfortunately Judy had moved up to a role as general manager of this location and two others. Judy is still my primary contact in scheduling massages for myself or arranging them for others. And if you tell her exactly what you are looking for, she does an outstanding job of finding the masseuse that is best suited to what you need. My last several massages I have had Cici as my masseuse and Cici gives an outstanding deep tissue massage. She is very strong and can provide as much pressure as is needed. I have the highest confidence in using anyone Judy recommends.

Really impressed. Rose was amazing. As was owner who came in to help with stretching my neck at the end. No funny business here. Just super well trained and professional massage therapy. I highly recommend.

You can get a great massage here. I’ve had some excellent Chinese massage here by several different therapists, but do yourself a favor and explain slowly and clearly up front what you need. This establishment is totally legitimate (AFAICT no «sensual» massage) and the three therapists I’ve had have all known exactly what they’re doing.
I have two issues with SOM: 1) even if you ask for a specific therapist, you don’t always get that one, and 2) they have a lot of staff turnover, so if you find someone who is just that bit better than the others, there’s no guarantee that they’ll be around in a few months.

I have been here 3 or 4 times so far and would go back more if I could afford it. Prices are a bit high ($ 70ph) but the quality is amazing. My first few visits were due to a frozen shoulder and Sherry completely sorted me out. Other times I have gone when I am just feeling a bit tense. The massage is very deep and focussed on problem areas. This is not a soft, aromatherapy, mamby-​pamby Massage Envy type of place — these girls are serious healers! If you have never had a Thai-​style massage where the therapist walks on your back, please do try it. It is amazing. Very clean and the staff are all very sweet. Highly recommended.

Really the best massage place I have found! My fiancé and I go here regularly and they have reasonable prices and really taken talented massage therapists! Rare to find this combo and they do magic when they walk in your back! Don’t be afraid they are amazing and what they do with their feet has to be experienced to explain. Run don’t walk to this great local business! Treat yourself you are worth it!

Small place with big talent. Great relaxing two hour massage from Cindy was way better than I anticipated. I’ve had massages in China and I can say that this one ranks right up there with the best.

I had a deep tissue message at this place. My experience was really good. No hassle in getting the appointment. These people know their business, the way they give you a massage; you can tell they are well trained and experienced. I highly recommend this one.

If you are serious about getting a deep tissue massage then this is the place to go. All the therapists here are excellent, well trained and listen to what you have to say. Cindy working on your pressure points fixes most of your aches and pains while Judy’s foot work is amazing.

I highly recommend this place. Ask for Cindy. She is special. The best I have found at least. If you want a soothing, relaxing massage after a long day at work or something more therpeutic to help after an injury, this is the place and Cindy is the one. She is amazing. Trained in China in the technique of accupressure. Sometimes a little painful, but later when you get home or the next day even, you realize how much better you feel. Without me telling her, she was able to identify problems from injuries I incurred 8 and 15 years ago. Now, I go see her for my weekly therapy. Absolutely incredible.

Had Massage by Cindy wow is the words to describe this woman she has a very deep massage and worked all the problem areas. it was a little out of my way but well worth the time and effort to find this place, I went there on a recommendation from a friend who told me to ask for Cindy, so I am doing the same but please leave some time for me.
