IHOP

I’ve been to this location twice this week. Once right after the Black Friday madness and once earlier today for a late lunch. Although the first time was good except for the long hair we found in the hash browns (no kidding), the second time we came it was simply awful. They can’t seem to serve an entire table at once here so when one person at your table is served, the others have to wait for food. The food itself was good the first time (minus the hair), but it was totally unacceptable the second time. All of the employees seemed distant and «checked out», when I asked for a manager they told me that he had already left for the day. Oh yeah, they were out of several rather common things like: French fries, American cheese, and a hot chocolate drink they featured on the menu. I don’t believe that they were actually out of these things, I just think that every question like «hey, there’s no cheese on my cheeseburger» is met with a lazy «oh yeah, we’re out of that» response.
I see the several good reviews and that’s what brought me here, but my experience was extremely poor and I feel I have to protect fellow Unilocalers from this place.

Best place for breakfast/​lunch. I ate eggs, bacon, and double blueberry pancakes. You can select between several siropes: original, butter, blueberry. I forgot other. Coffee and orange juice were great. Good place to go with family, kids and friends. My friend ate spicy pumpkin pancakes just for holidays. Delicious

Our adventure started with the hostess refusing to seat us after a half hour wait because they didn’t see our party as «complete». My wife was washing her hands. Off to a terrible start. Not a quiet place to eat breakfast on the weekends but the service was good. Food was GARBAGE. Nothing was as advertised. Corners were skipped everywhere possible. Hash browns were clearly pre cooked and frozen. They’re quickly seared off and only seared on the outside. Chocolate chip pancakes were chocolate with chips on top. Omlets were more of a roll made of thin sheets of eggs cooked on a flat top, stacked a day rolled with a fake cheese sauce that likely cannot be legally referred to as cheese. Buttermilk pancakes were ok. Although it’s nice to have multiple sauces on the table none of them we anything more than corn syrup with color and artificial flavor.

I don’t normally like eating at diners until one day late at night I went with a friend and they introduced me to steak tipssss! Ever since then, I randomly crave them. So one day I had the cravings for them so bad I came alone one early morning and sat at the bar eagerly ordered my steak tips and a cappuccino.
The lady at the bar was very nice and friendly she took my order right away and kept coming back to me to refill me water and ask me if I needed anything else.
The cappuccino was delicious! Could be a little creamier but it was good. It was also (dare I say) topped with a ton of whip cream (just how I like it, yummmm).
My food came out pretty quickly (thank goodness). I ordered the steak tips and it comes with 2 sides, I got the scrambled eggs and potatoes, and it ALSO comes with 2 pancakes (I KNOW RIGHT, omg delicious). I loveee steak so I was able to quench my craving and I love sweets so the pancakes provided a nice dessert afterwards.
Just writing this review makes my mouth water. Ok, go try it!

I’ve been to this location several times and wasn’t impressed on my previous visit. Our waitress had forgotten my stepmom’s coffee, then when reminded she brought a cold one… and a few mistakes with our order which our waitress didn’t seem to concerned about. The food is always great, just a bad morning for our waitress I guess. Then, I went there a few weeks ago pretty early in the morning to order some food to go. Stephanie took great care of my boyfriend and I. Wonderful service, very friendly and considerate. Ask for Steph!

My mom & I were hungry and decided to go for breakfast here and it was amazing! The food was excellent & I have to brag about our server Jean! He was outstanding and went above and beyond! He always smiled and had a great personality, due to his customer service I returned today and asked for Jean to serve me! Thanks again!

Had the garden omelette. No taste. How bland has the food there become. Will not return.

It’s an IHOP with IHOP food. Why are you looking at a Unilocal review for IHOP? Just go. The food is what you’d expect. But I will say the service is above average compared to other IHOPs in the area. If you come between 10am and 1pm on a weekend please expect to wait to be seated. That’s normal. It’s their busy time. I come here a lot during the weekends for breakfast and I’ve never had a problem with the wait staff or the food. I do have to warn about the strawberry banana pancakes tho. My girlfriend always gets them and they are ALWAYS undercooked in the middle. I guess because of the bananas in the pancakes. You should be careful because of salmonella and all. That’s the only reason I held back the 5^th star. Thank you.

Fui la primera vez para desayunar, fue un desayuno muy potente, con panceta, huevo, salchichas, jamon y como postre del desayuno una torre de 4 o 5 panqueques con crema que hay varias salsas para ponerles.
La segunda ocacion que fui fue para cenar, pedi el pollo frito, y la verdad que muy rico viene acompañado con pure y choclo, son platos llenadores.
Los dos IHOP que fui contaban con estacionamiento, con 10 dolares comes mas que bien y la atencion es excelente.

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant, because it was basically the only place open besides the McDonalds, after a late movie. We were greeted by Mr. Patrick who was also our waiter, he was top of the line 5 star service, he made us laugh and jokes around, he spoiled me with a fresh cup of hot coco, our food came out within minutes. It almost seemed as if it was to good to be true because the service was so amazing at that time. There was also another couple there who told my boyfriend and I that they go out of there way just to go there at that time simply because of Mr. Patrick. It was a simple and quick choice, that actually made out date night special. We will definitely be going back!

We went on a busy Sunday morning. There was a short wait, then we were seated. The store was very clean. Our server was prompt and very polite. Our food was delivered quickly given how busy it was. We ordered three omelets and four pancake orders. All of it was cooked perfectly and tasty.

I love this place. It is so clean and the service is fantastic. Make sure you ask for Teresa she is the best.

The food was good and served in a speedy way. The waitress’ breath stunk of alcohol and it was 4 am. This is very sad. I will not come back here.

without a doubt 5 stars from me. The manager cherise I think her name was was so nice and helpful along with my server and now i cant remember her name either…2 GREAT helpful patient people. The food was excellent! The store was SPOTLESS and the manager and server made my experience top notch… ive been to many I Hops and this one is the BEST by far! I had my 90 year old father with me and everyone went above and beyond to help us… Thank you! and YES where is my cuban coffee :)

Ordered clearly an omelette but egg whites and my girlfriend ordered a grilled cheese with bacon, but when we got the food, she had no bacon on her grilled cheese and my omelette was scrambled instead of egg whites. When we tried to get the waiters attention he was sitting in a booth on his phone and I had to act out to get his attention. He apologized for the mistake and returned with her grilled cheese with bacon and then the bread was not toast all around and the cheese was not even melted on the bread… When I went to go pay, my debt card says «ask for ID», so looked at it and swapped then asked for my ID. Thank god I was the owner of my card.

Brand new awesomeness. We had no idea the shopping center was under renovation and IHOP has reopened fresh and newly located closer to the street, just to the west of the renovated Mickey D’s.
We visited around noonish on a Saturday. It was packed so hubby and I sat at the bar and watched the kitchen cooks and waitresses and the manager work like a well oiled machine. We ordered breakfast entrees. Our food was made to order and came out great. The coffee was unusually good for a typical IHOP.
Parking was not fun, but I’ve found that most parking lots in South Florida are poorly designed and difficult to maneuver, so par.
A big change from the old location over in the corner. Looks like it fits in with all the fancy looking new highrises going up in the area.
