I had to come here and try their strawberry stuffed french toast after hearing the raves on Unilocal and they were not kidding when people said they were heavenly! They are stuffed with so much cream cheese sweet filling and the strawberries are so fresh, not to mention I could not get enough of the crunch of the french toast given that they made it with that extra crunch, which I cannot figure out if its frosted flakes or not lol but I would def recommemd dropping by for breakfast. Great atmosphere, clean restaurant, smiling staff. The food is great for what you pay and you get a lot! They do not skimp you by no means.

ONEWORD: yummy!!! I had their version of an Eggs Benedict and it was amazing! Enough for four people ~ truly ~ but soooooo good you might not want to share. Biscuits, tipped with really good hash browns, gravy and I asked for a poached egg v their version which is scrambled. OMG. Calories be damned. It was just that good!

I wanted to update my review for Kristof’s since my previous review(from 4÷19÷2015) was only two sentences long and definitely not an «Elite» level review.(What the heck is that about!?!) I’ve been to Kristof’s more times than I can count since then and the consistency and deliciousness of their food has not changed since my first time coming a year ago. I would consider Kristof’s a hidden gem and a local favorite! They’re always packed and it’s for good reason! If you’re lucky enough to get here early on a weekend day(highly recommend) you won’t have to wait too long for their delicacies. The later it gets the busier they get. Service is always average and nothing spectacular but they are only a diner/mom and pop type place. I’ve only been here for breakfast/brunch, never lunch. but my favorite thing to order is the Strawberry Stuffed French Toast! You can actually get this served the normal way with their sweet cream cheese filling or with Nutella. I’ve had both and the hardest part is deciding which one because both are amazing! Their pancakes, omelets, the Not So Benedict, and the Banana Pecan Challa French Toast are always a hit! We recently tried their chef special pancake which was a red velvet pancake with yummy cream cheese«frosting». It was huge and so incredibly sweet. A table of four shared one pancake and it was way too much! Considerations when ordering a trio of pancakes! Kristof’s Kafe is on my list of top 5 local breakfast/brunch places in Broward! Highly recommend a stop in!

I try to bring EVERYONE I know here!!! This place is the BEST. I always end up getting the same thing: the Strawberry Creamcheese Stuffed French Toast. It is honestly the best thing I have ever had. It has the best mix of sweet and bitter(?) flavors… not sure if I would say bitter but seriously it rocks. We have been lucky to have one of the owners as our waitress the last few times. We adore the people here and the food! I am always happy to come to Kristoff’s! Try coming on a weekday if you can because on Saturdays and Sundays there can be a wait time of 45 minutes!

I have gone to KC a number of times and each time it’s been a good experience. A little hidden in a plaza, KC allows for affordable mom and pop breakfast and lunch. I have only had breakfast food mainly freach toast. Stuffed strawberry french toast is amazing. You can add nutella for a few dollars more. I always order a side of chicken sausage and a hot chocolate. Great service, if you go on a weekend you may deal with a long wait. Week days not as much. Great experience would recommend.

I must’ve built this place up wayyyy to much, so I went in HOT. I mean, my expectations were HIGH. Now, don’t get me wrong, the meal wasn’t bad, I mean, the place was packed and the food was plated well. I came explicitly for the strawberry stuffed French toast and the caramel banana French toast. They were both ok. I also had the spinach feta omelet. Also ok. If I go back, I’d be willing to try something else. It’s still a pretty good breakfast spot, the service was fast even on a busy Saturday morning.

I am very rarely in this area, especially for breakfast, so this was my first time here. Clearly this is a good place to eat because the place is busy and there is a wait. Luckily our wait wasn’t too long, because I was starved after running with some folks earlier in the morning. Protein was high on my list to put into my body, along with coffee. I went for the broken egg sandwich on rye with grits. The grits were killer. They were not clumpy at all and not too soupy, so I was super happy. Eggs were cooked just right on the sandwich and it went well with the toasted rye bread. Surprisingly the sandwich stayed together pretty well. A very comforting breakfast. I was able to steal a bite of the Strawberry stuff french toast. This is almost like a dessert. Tons a flavor, but a little too sweet for me. Glad I got to try, but don’t think I could eat that for breakfast. I also got a bite of the croissant breakfast sandwich(don’t remember name). The croissant was a lot more flakier than it looked, so this is also a very enjoyable choice. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She was able to decipher my hand signals from across the room and came right over with more coffee. Score! Glad I came.

I’ve been to this place more times than I’d like to admit and each time they never disappoint. Even though the inside is humble looking, decorated just like a diner, don’t let their food fool you! Their exotic options on the menu, for brunch, taste incredible and I will keep this place as a regular breakfast spot! All the French Toast options are amazing, especially the ones with filling. They had a specialty French toast when I went which was the Cannoli! I still dream about when they’ll have that French Toast again! I’ve also tried the Not so Eggs Benedict, and the egg White Omelet Supreme, both very filling and seasoned very well! Their breakfast potatoes are the best around! I love when they come out very hot and they’re also soft and seasoned well! None of the egg entrees are ever too salty, which I love! If you’re looking for a great breakfast place with exotic menu items, this place is well worth the drive!

I was excited to finially try this restaurant, between all the glowing reviews and delicious looking pictures, I left feeling very disappointed. Usually I try a place a few times before I write my review, but in this case, I highly doubt I will be coming back anytime soon. My sister and I stopped in here for breakfast about a month ago. We were seeing a movie in the same plaza, and my sister suggested this restaurant, and since I have had it bookmarked for ages, I excitedly agreed. The place is cute, very homey and comfortable. It is also very clean, including the ladies room. We were there on a Saturday morning and in true Britt fashion, I was early. Shocking right? Since I read how long the wait can be, I was pleasantly surprised to see only two parties ahead of me. Within just a few minutes, I was being escorted to my table. Everything smelled so good and I was hungry, so I was happy that my sister arrived shorty after I was seated. They were busy but not slammed, like I expected they would be. We shared the Challah French Toast and the Biscuits with Sausage Gravy. I never had Biscuits and Sausage Gravy but my sister insisted that it was delicious. I have to admit, it was pretty good, although I thought it was very heavy. It could have been a bit hotter, but it was very tasty. I never had this dish before, so I had nothing to compare it against. It was good, but not something I would order again. The Challah French Toast was very good, but in all honesty, I have had better. The service was far from good. I realize we were here the weekend before Christmas, but like I previously mentioned, they were not packed or anything. Poor service is a deal-breaker for me, and for this reason, I am only giving a three star rating. Not being acknowledged, waiting forever for our drinks, having to ask twice for our drinks, creates a stressful environment. When I go out for a meal, I just don’t want to deal with this. I want to relax and enjoy my food and the company of my dining companions. The food was good but it was not mind blowing. They are famous for their stuffed french toast options, they look good, but I prefer plain french toast. If I lived closer I would probably give them another shot, but since I dont, I can’t imagine returning anytime soon. I don’t care how good the food is, if the service is not good, I cross them off my list. People rave about the food, so they must be doing something right, although I just don’t see what all the hype is about, I really don’t. The prices are very reasonable and this is a cute local breakfast and lunch spot. They are open seven days a week from 8am to 3pm.

5 stars for everything– Great/easy location, incredible food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. What else do you want? We have been here each time we’ve visited the area. How can we go anywhere else? Look at my pictures. The food is really fresh and cooked perfectly. Clean restaurant which, gets very busy within 39 mins of them opening. Yep, it’s that good so get there early. My omelet was super fluffy and stuffed with fresh veggies including onions, spinach, and cheese. The home fries were seasoned perfectly and the portion was more than I could eat. We’ll be back for a third time for sure !!

I really liked the pecan pancakes. They put them right in the pancakes. Delicious! Just thought I would get to the point right away. I was very happy to try this place out, as I heard a lot of good things from Unilocalers and even co-workers. I travelled out of my way to check it out. I arrived on a Saturday morning and purchased the 2−2−2−2 special. Everything was pretty good but the pancakes stood out. They give you options of things you can add into your pancakes, and I chose pecans. Service was fast and solid, and you can sense right away that there is something special about this place. It isn’t your ordinary breakfast place. I will certainly make my way back at some point, and will bring others, too. This place reminds me of the Cypress Nook up in Pompano. Home style cooking.

What a Breakfast at 2pm in the afternoon! Decided to try this place out. Very hard to get in during the Key hours. We went 1 hr before closing. I had read the reviews online and decided to go with the Fellow Unilocalers recommendations. Well it did not disappoint. The«Not so Benedict» and the«Strawberry creame filled French toast» was so on point. It was fresh and tasty and portions were big. Staff was very nice and wait time was average for the meal to come. 30 min or so. Overall we will be back again for a afternoon breakfast. Yum. Yum…

Brunch: Those glorious times when you’re able to have breakfast food at lunch time without rushing. Before brunch was a wonderful lazy Sunday after a jam packed weekend of partying. Many places even only offer their brunch on Sunday… But now, with a new baby the all nighters span the entire week. When you only get to sleep from 7am — 12 pm everyday you don’t want to wait until Sunday to spoil yourself. Kristof’s offers brunch every day and has that added WOW factor with their stuffed french toast for sure! They also have coffee ice cubes. For mom’s of little ones that love coffee, iced coffee is a must since you never want to put your LO in danger of getting burned. But watered down coffee isn’t that good, so having coffee cubes is wonderful! A friend of mine at work, knowing my love for brunch, pointed me towards Kristof’s, and I’ve been smitten ever since. The place is small, so if you’re planning on going on a weekend, be prepared to wait. During the week it is less crowded. I’ve been both and the service has been great and friendly all times. On my last visit, I went with a long time friend and fellow new mom. She ordered what I thought was pretty complicated, but the waitress was right on it! I usually have one of the french toast options, they are all fabulous.
