America’s Best Movers

Beware of anyone who claims to be the best mover especially America’s Best Movers. This company scams people in several states including NY, FL, TX, and CA. Although they’ve been reported to the FBI in Miami, they close shop and pop up somewhere else in multiple locations.
Basically, they will underbid you over the phone and then increase the price after delaying delivery for 4 – 8 weeks or more. Moreover, your boxes will be crushed, soaked, and opened with items missing. Worst of all, these cheap movers don’t speak English, have no common sense when packing paintings with vaccuum cleaners in the same box without any padding, and dump your stuff on the ground as if they were tossing the garbage. It’s almost impossible to get in touch with them over the phone and don’t trust a word they say.
The moral of the story is to get a paper quote, check their references, and run their credentials through several business bureaus. If I could give 0 or negative starts, I would!
