I ordered a mocha a couple of days ago and it almost tasted like watered down milk. The barista was a blonde girl with glasses. This is the first time I’d ever bought a drink there. There was barely any coffee taste at all in my drink, and usually Starbucks coffee always tastes distinctively strong no matter what is ordered. I asked to have my drink remade and the barista told me she would put in two shots the second time. Tasted exactly the same as the first: watery and tasteless even with the extra second shot of expresso. The barista and cashier did not bother to ask if the drink was better the second time. At this point, I didn’t think it would make a difference to tell them since it seemed like they think there is something wrong with me and not their coffee. My conclusion is either that either the barista does not know how to make the mocha, does not know how to use the expresso machine, or else the expresso machine is broken. I saw the review here from Hanna 10 days ago and she complained that there was barely any coffee in her drink and she thought it was because she ordered online — it’s not. The drinks are just not made right.

I don’t recommend doing mobile orders here takes way to long and I always get more foam than coffee and for 5 – 6 bucks a cup I kind of want the coffee more

One of my FAVORITE starbucks to go to, of all time. It’s attached to the Barnes and Noble. Inside sitting is medium-big with atleast 6 tables and then four recliners. I go here to people watch – it’s always filled with people and a lot aren’t from plano(but from surrounding areas such as Richardson or even Dallas). The atmosphere here is great.

I make very good coffee at home, but Starbucks is unique in the folks who are patrons and the employees. This is one of the best people watching places in Plano. The Starbucks I am referring to is the one next to Barnes & Nobles Bookstore close to Central Expressway on 15th Street in Plano. I just had a great conversation with a young born-again Christian named Andrew. He told me about his life extensively and in great detail. I really enjoyed our conversation. He had a bone-crushing handshake & had traveled all over the US. The coffee of the day was excellent as usual. I turn it into a dessert with lots of brown sugar, ½ & ½ and nutmeg. I’ve tried drinking it ‘black’ and it almost ripped my tongue out of my head. They were busy but took my order quickly and brewed a fresh batch of the coffee of the day as I waited. The employees are friendly and fast. I always visit the Barnes & Noble Bookstore connected to THIS Starbucks.

My favorite Sbux in Plano. They know my name and they always get my drink right. That’s all I ask for, the actual drink I ordered, and they make it!

Although it is a little further away, this is a larger Starbucks, with much better air conditioning.

They have a great group of people working here, very friendly and I’ve never gotten a bad drink. A lot of the people there are really passionate about their job, which is always nice to see. I’ve had my drink made by a guy name Layton a few times and he’s always super enthusiastic.(Not to pick favourites, but him and Stephanie are mine!) There’s a door that connects the Starbucks to the Barnes and Noble next door, which is really nice and convenient.(It’s not a B&N café — it’s an actual starbucks). Sometimes it gets pretty busy but it’s not chaos like some other Starbucks, the layout keeps things moving. Thanks guys!

Great crew. They’re not annoyingly morning chipper or overly salesy. You get exactly what you want… and it’s actually crafted as if they took their time to be efficient and effective. (Seriously, try sipping the same 3 drinks everywhere you go and you’ll taste the difference.) Only two standalone tables have outlets, but there’s plenty at the bar seats if you need them.

I walk down the Chisholm trail to this Starbucks often. Although it is attached to the barns and nobles it is an actual Starbucks instead of the b&n café. They have a good seating setup and good sized outdoor area it’s also not right up against a major road so the outdoor area isn’t too loud. They are also open later(10:00) than most of the other Starbucks in the area.

I love the glass windows. It makes you feel like you can enjoy the weather even if your allergies are going crazy or if it’s pouring rain outside. I don’t come to this location regularly, but I love how the baristas know the regulars. Definitely a plus! :)

Sometimes I wait until I leave Uptown to get my coffee in Plano because the service can be better.

I frequent this establishment almost every week since it is just across the street from my wife’s hairdresser, thus I always have a great excuse fro stopping at Starbucks. This location in on a corner however it does not have a drive trough windows. You have to go inside. It is normally very busy however the service is usually very fast. I am not pleased with Starbuck’s recent change when they stopped given you free syrup flavoring in your latte for their gold card members. Now there is a 50 cents charge even for Gold Card members. The staff at this location is courteous and efficient. There is a bar sitting area where you can hook up your laptop and of course there is free Wi Fi and it works very well at this location. There are newspapers for sale in the front of the store plus the usual danish and sweets in the counter. There is decent seating available with a limited number of plush comfortable chairs. This is an area I wish Starbucks would work on. There is some seating on the sidewalk outside.

Well, it’s another Starbucks. Those of you who may have read my past Starbucks reviews probably know that I tend to focus more on the environment at these places rather than the product. Why? Well, I’ve yet to find one where the product was bad; I’ve always gotten good coffee, and the locations are practically everywhere, so it’s almost down to «what makes this Starbucks different from the rest?» Number one, and maybe a deal-killer for some: This location doesn’t have a drive thru. Sorry! What it does have, though, is a good seating arrangement inside, with a lot of windows to let the sunlight in. It’s clean and inviting, and it was perfect for me to spend about 3 hours with my laptop and a cuppa, doing some work while I was waiting on my wife to have a procedure done at a nearby doctor’s office. In addition, I had an egg salad sandwich, which was very good. Bottom line: This is a location that’s not in an area that’s packed with Starbucks on every corner, so if you’re OK with coming in to get your fix, it’s not too hard to get in and out of, and just like almost every other Starbucks that’s corporately owned(I’m not talking about the ones inside grocery stores and such, that’s a whole different kettle of, well, coffee beans), you’ll get some good joe and have a place to hang if you need to.
