Kawana has been cutting our boys hair for years. She is always so friendly and does a great job. Our kids love her and we love her!

Kawana and Erica are our go-​to ladies! Highly recommended for sensory sensitive kids. Snip-​Its has an autism training for employees, that both these stylists have competed. Just wonderful – we drive from east Plano, and it’s worth it!

Came here for my son’s first haircut. They made him feel comfortable and we’re super fast. Kiki did a great job!

Stay away! We took our 11 month old in for her first hair cut and it was a mistake. The staff was unfriendly and couldn’t careless about crying baby. There was no attempt to try to play with the baby or warm up to the baby. My baby was doing well but the staff was so unfriendly, no smile!!, that scared my little one. Hair cut took less than 5 mins and was a hacked job. The staff didn’t clean the chair prior to next customer. My husband had to wipe and clean the hair off he chair before we put our little one in there. I do not recommend this place because of bad staff, the place itself is kids friendly.

Worst haircut ever. We took our son here for his first haircut and I said I wanted a little taken off the top because it got in his eyes and she basically buzzed his whole head. It’s so uneven and sadly too short to fix. I’m so mad! Never take your kids here. NEVER.

Very welcoming. Erika did a fantastic job. She was quick and encouraging to my son who is not a fan of haircuts. We will be back.

First of all, I had been taking my son here since he was 2 and everytime we are here the wait had been about 30 min to even get service.
It’s always one or two employees running the entire store
Today was the worst. Imagine summer time, before school starts… How is it possible you only have ONE employee running the entire shop? She is great at multi-​tasking, cutting hair while answer phones and checking customers in. Bad for customers is we now have to wait over 45 min just to get service, which is unacceptable. This is just poor management
I hope this changes which I doubt it will… Sadly, we will not be coming back anymore, we will take the business and our friends elsewhere.

We only go for Erica. She is quick, and does a really good job. Highly recommend this location. All others are really hit or miss.

Brought my son in for a hair cut. Everywhere else I take him I have to hold him down and he screams the whole time. It’s usually a horrible experience. We came in waited for maybe 5 mins until Ms. Melanie said she was ready for Zeke. Zeke was very scared at first and I had told her he might scream and usually I have to hold him down. She was very patient with him and showed him it wasn’t going to hurt him, distracted him with bubbles and he did very very well at the start. He only scream and I had to hold his hands at the very end a lot better than any haircuts we have had. I just hope my son can get over his fear soon! Thank you Ms. Melanie for working with us! She did a great job :)

We’ve been here a few times and compared to other places in town, this place has the best prices. The staff is extremely friendly and do a great job. We’ve called ahead both times just before arriving and never had to wait long. The only downfall is that it is hard to get to being that it is on the frontage road. A tip would be to cut through WalMart.
They do not have the little cars to sit in, but have smaller chairs and there are TVs at each station to distract the kids. The whole place is welcoming for kids and after their cut, they get to insert a token for a prize at the machine by the front. You can buy a prepaid 5 cut card to save a few bucks.

Took our son here for his first hair-​cut. Researched several places and decided to give this place a try based on the good reviews.
Can’t say anything about the wait time since there was nobody there on a Friday morning, so we walked right in.
Stylist was very professional and was able to cut a squirmy and screaming child’s hair in under 20 minutes. I was very impressed! We will definitely be back for another haircut!

What a great kids haircut salon! I took my 3 girls here for the first time today and I was so pleased! It’s the week before school starts and a day where cuts are only $ 13.99 so the wait was LONG, but even still the staff were upbeat and moved through the cuts with ease.
I watched Nikki handle a very emotional baby get a cut and not once did she lose her patience or take too long completing the cut. I was lucky to have her cut one of my girls hair as well. She was sweet and took time to make my youngest feel comfortable.
My older two girls got their cuts from a lovely young woman named Kwana. She was wonderful! Very friendly and energetic! She cut both of their hair perfectly and made them feel special. She also went out of her way to explain their referral program.
The clerk at the front was a sweetheart as well and was very helpful. There was another stylist there as well and although I didn’t get to use her services, she seemed very happy and did a great job on the other kiddos hair.
I would also like to point out that the place was very clean and tidy! After each cut the girls quickly cleaned up their stations and were ready for the next client!
I will definitely be returning!

When we walked in the staff was very welcoming. As soon as the lady saw my son, she totally gave him her undivided attention. And it was our first time coming here. She could tell he was a little frightened and she kept on trying to keep him calm. She was gentle and patient. Not once did she get impatient. We left with a great haircut. I really liked that the kids get a toy after their haircut. This lady was excellent. And for her awesome work I gave her a great tip! Plus it was a free haircut from Frisco freedom fest! If you choose to come here, I recommend asking for Ericka.

I asked a LOT of people where they took their kids for haircuts, and following a very strong and specific recommendation from a friend, took my almost-​two-​year-​old here for her very first haircut. GREAT decision! Very bright, made-​for-​kids environment in the Walmart shopping center off of 121 & Ohio. No appointments are available on weekends, so we made sure we arrived right when they opened and were the first customers (anyone with kids knows how much easier everything is if you don’t have to wait!). If you do have to wait, there’s a cute little train table they can play with in the lobby.
Each haircut station has a little TV. My kid isn’t interested in TV yet, but I imagine that becomes very useful for slightly older kids. Our stylist was eternally patient and sweet and focused. My kid pretty much whined/​cried the whole time, simply because this was a new activity, and the stylist did not seem annoyed at all. This made it a positive experience for me as the parent.
The haircut was suuuuper cute! I couldn’t have pulled it off myself at home. And for your child’s first haircut, you get to bring a lock of hair home with a little certificate. So sweet. Highly recommend this place.

I came here with my three year old daughter and she got a very nice haircut by Erica (I think). While she was getting the haircut she was entertained by the TV which made everything easier. After the haircut she got a free toy price which made her very happy. The place is very child friendly, there are toys children can play with while waiting for their turn. The day I went I didn’t have an appointment and fortunately I didn’t have to wait long but I would suggest to go with an appointment.
I recommend the place.

We were able to walk in on a Saturday around 11:30am and immediately got in for haircuts. They were great with my boys and did a good job on the haircuts.
The kids loved it because they got a lollipop AND a special prize. This haircutting place is *definitely* better than any of the other «kid» haircut options in the area. Will definitely return!
