I use to get my hair color in Richarson, but they started to get lazy and use caps the do my highlights. Oh it was horrible.
Then I came Nikki & Lay @ Sean David salon. OMG … LOVE IT!
Nikki knew what i needed and the perfect shade for my hair. She knew exactly the color blend and got on the 1^st try. So impressed. I do recommend this salon and ask for NIKKI !!

I love my hairstylist! I am really picky about my hair and Lay never ceases to amaze me whether it be a long or short do. If you are looking for a perfectionist then Lay is the one for you!

Lay is my guy. He books his appointments right so I don’t ever wait long. He’s listen to what I want and is always very focused on getting it perfect. He consistently does a great job. Been going to Lay and Nikki for years. Followed them since Jose Eber and would never go to any other stylist or colorist ! Lay is such a perfectionist when it comes to hair and Nikki is always on point with color ! They always take their time and never rush through it ! If you are looking for a stylist/​colorist that will always put your hair first, they are the perfect pair !

I have found the ONE… I meant TWO ppl who are the perfect team for color and cut. Nikki and Lay have been a duo back since they were both at Jose Eber over 15 years ago. They are experienced, professional and talented. Nikki’s specialty ranges from Balayage (hand painting highlights to create a subtle and soft sun kissed look) to even dramatic color makeovers. Lay is master with his scissors and knows exactly what style to fit your face and lifestyle, not to mention he gives a mean blowout! With these two on my beauty team, I feel like a walking Pantene commercial every time I leave the salon.

Kc is the best! I recommend her to all my friends! She is such a perfectionist, she takes her time and doesn’t let you leave until every hair on your hair is cut perfectly and is in the absolute right place. I always leave feeling I have a beautiful haircut!

First time at this salon. KC was my stylist and after consult she did a great job cutting my hair and styling. She made suggestions and had input.
Atmosphere: The salon is painted a cool gray and accessories in aqua… very relaxing. Cool vibe.
The only reason I don’t give five stars today is the salon itself was not clean. Hair on floors, hair on shelves at stations, bathroom not clean and a ring of dirt around the doorknob exiting bathroom. All disappointing and I feel not good. This location shouldn’t have a salon this dirty. (I was 9a appmt and they had JUST opened so not from a busy day of hair cuts.). Managers: get cleaning service more often or do it yourself.

After researching salons in the Dallas and Plano areas, I decided on Sean David Salon. They had excellent reviews and decided to try it out. The scheduling an appointment was very easy and accessible on-​line (which I like so I can see both my work and home calendars and compare them to their scheduling system). I went ahead and made my appointment with the owner, Sara. I’m usually pretty intimidated by fancy salons but I felt welcome and comfortable and soon as I walked in the door. The staff is so friendly and helpful. When I met Sara, she was easy to talk to and understood everything I was wanting as far and my cut and style was concerned. She also offered some great tips in helping me decide the details of my hairstyle. I absolutely enjoyed the service and experience and will return for my next cut and style!

I started going to Sean David about 9 years ago. The stylist that i was seeing at that time ended up leaving to open her own salon and i followed her. I decided to go back to Sean David 2 years ago after hearing rave reviews for Nikki & Lay. They are both amazing. Nikki is skilled with the balayage coloring technique. Best color i have EVER had plus my hair feels so much healthier than than when i used to use foils with previous colorist. Lay is like an artist with scissors. He spends so much time cutting my hair for the perfect look and is definitely a perfectionist. The two are the perfect hair duo! THE BEST!

I have been in DFW for a year and finally found my salon! Love Sasha (aka Sassy!) She makes my hair look and feel amazing!!!

I’ve been going to KC for almost 4 years. I followed her from her last salon about 2 years ago to Sean David. She’s great! She’s honest and will tell you what she thinks will look good and make suggestions. She really gets to know her clients. The facility itself is very modern and to me has a somewhat masculine feel. They are in the process of making a few changes. It’s not a very zen spa feeling as it is strictly a hair salon. The prices are pretty average for this area, but I think it varies somewhat per stylist. Everyone’s always dressed professionally and it’s always nice and clean. They also offer complementary wine or water. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the facility itself is a little too modern for my taste.

Yay! Lay & Nikki are here! There is no one on this planet that does better color than Nikki or cuts than Lay. I’ve used them for approximately 7 years and followed them from Jose Eber. If you’re tired of looking awful, go see these two. Great hair is way more important than any outfit. It’s the absolute best accessory!
