Ideal Wax

I’ve always waxed at European wax center but when I moved I (of course) had to get reacquainted with a new esthetician. I asked around and through a family friend I found Megan at Ideal Wax. Her prices are very affordable. her salon is comfortable .and she is professional yet very friendly. She engages in conversation throughout the wax session and tries to keep it as comfortable as possible. I go to her for my Brazilian and recently tried a full arm. she uses a hard wax which is strip-​less, the wax hardens into its own strip basically. she cleanses the area to be waxed and after the wax she removes any excess wax that may have been left over which doesn’t really happen and then soothes the area with some lotion/​powder.
my skin hasn’t reacted negatively to the wax at all.
all in all a great place to wax! idk if she still does it but when I went in for my first wax it was 50% off the usual price for being a first timer with her!

What happens when you go on a wax hiatus and decide that it’s time to take care of business? I anticipate pain because my butt was far too lazy to keep up with my waxing maintenance. So many months later, it was time to tame the beast.
Who better else to tame said beast than Megan? I found her off of Groupon and what really drew me to Ideal Wax was their 98% thumbs up on Groupon. I’ve had really awesome and relatively painless wax experiences to really painful and drawn out waxes. This one was in the middle not because of anyone’s technique or my pain tolerance… But because I’ve waited too long to have a wax and my body is just not having it.
Megan has awesome late night hours so you’re not confined to the normal 9 – 5 schedule where you have to rush out from work before the weekend starts to ensure that your mane is tamed. She’s very professional but also very personable.
My wax took about 20 minutes and it was a very pleasant experience. Megan kept me engaged and talking when things started to get really hairy.
I’m really impressed by Megan at Ideal Wax. She reminds me of my favorite waxer in Houston, Meghan at Wax Appeal. Perhaps Meghans/​Megans are just really gifted in the way of the wax. I’ll definitely be back and the Groupon had an incredible package deal! WOOT! I found a waxer in Dallas.

I have been going to Megan for over 2 years now. She is professional, but with a personality. I highly recommend her to anyone who is getting waxed for the first time or anyone who is looking for a change. She has great products available, but is not one of those high pressure sales types. I will follow her where ever she goes!

Her quality of work/​waxing is phenomenal. I searched for months for a new Esthetician after having horrible waxing experiences. I decided to give her a try two years ago and have been with her ever since.
It’s been so awesome to watch her grow not only as a person but to also watch her business grow and see how far she has come.
