ZEROSTARSIF I COULD!!! They sent me a coupon for BOGO bread. We have a picky eater at our house who wants WHITE bread. They make white bread… which, as I found, has some potato flour in it. OK,. that’s fine with me as long as it’s «white». So I tried to buy an $ 8 loaf of their wheat bread and asked for the $ 6 «white» loaf as my freebie. NOPE — they pointed out their coupon says«100% whole wheat» loaves. I can’t have a loaf of «some potato flour bread» I get that it’s your business, so your rules, but, on some level, pleasing the customer so he/she will come back to shop again should factor into your(collective) thought processes. What I wanted was cheaper than what they tried to force on me; I didn’t try to buy the cheaper loaf and demand the more costly. Neither did I need two loaves of bread that would leave a family member without. Seriously, F– for customer service

Samples are off the hook! Service is usually always great some staff more friendly than others, great breakfast sandwiches and lunch. You pay for what you get which is fresh, real ingredients. My favorite is the strawberry muffin and pumpkin cookie which are limited time. Everything is really good here tho. Free wifi and usually a nice quiet place to go to. They also have some great deals/events every month.

Excellent service, everyone greeted me when I entered. They had delicious free bread samples with two different kind of butters to try. I had the veggie sandwich and swapped out the sundried tomato pesto spread to garlic herb spread and it was delicious! Their bread is made fresh everyday, and you can definitely tell. Wish this place was closer to my house, but I would come back here again.

service was good and the bread they had was good but the choice of bread wasn’t as good as the one I’m use to going to in Cary, NC.

First time here and surprised I didn’t know about it sooner, since I’ve lived so close for year. I originally picked the place because Unilocal indicated they had wi-fi, but just FYI, they do not. It’s a small little place with outdoor seating and 7 indoor tables seating 4 or less. They have samples of their breads and baked goodies and spreads to try. And you also get to choose your bread from a good variety. I got the Nutty Bird on Cranberry Orange bread and it was so delicious. And it’s pretty healthy too. I’d like to come back and try other sandwiches and breads.

A-Okay for the sandwich. Yay, I’m a fan for the bread. I’ve been searching for a solid sandwich place and this could be the answer. Right when I walk in, the super friendly servers/cashiers/bakers asked, «would you like a sample?» Who says no to that. Ever. I chose the Mexican chocolate chip bread. It was so good. You don’t understand, it was SO good. I was so tempted to not even order a sandwich and just run away with the bread. And the butters. You don’t even need butter for that bread but still, the butters are worth raving about too. Ordered the the Boss sandwich with honey wheat bread($ 8.29 pre tax) and honestly, it was just okay. The sandwich was with chicken breast, bacon, cranberries, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, sriracha mayo, and BBQ sauce. I felt like the sauces drenched the sandwich and took away from the other flavors. If I tried this particular one again, I would ask them to only use half the sauce or just leave out the BBQ. The menu still looks promising though! So I would definitely revisit, give some other sandwiches a try, and steal more Mexican chocolate chip bread. Kidding…

What a great place for sandwiches. We went there and immediately were offered different breads to sample along with different spreads. We ended up with two sandwiches, a wrap, and a kid’s pb&j. Everyone loved their sandwiches and the taste of the fresh bread and quality ingrediants was great.

Everything here is amazing, fresh, and decently priced. I had the veggie sandwich. I know vegetarian sandwiches seem pointless and gross, but fresh veggies on the dense, soft, freshly made cranberry orange bread with the sun dried tomato sauce was phenomenal. I also tried the Dallas bar, which light and fruity. But it does have a crap load of sugar I’m sure. Overall, for 8 $, I am hooked. I’ll be back weekly!

Good, fresh, healthy food. The place has a country feel to it, which is nice and homey and welcoming. It’s extremely clean, and my husband told me to note on here that the bathroom was«clean and smelled nice like lavender». Right off the bat we were offered samples of different slices of bread and their own homemade butters. Tried the wheat with the cinnamon butter… Ugh YUM! Ordered the sunrise salad with grilled chicken and hubby had the roaming buffalo with jalapeño bread. Loved my salad. It was fresh and had cranberries and sunflower seeds in it… It didn’t even need the blue cheese dressing I originally requested. Hubby took a bite off his sandwich and the first words that came out of his mouth were«WOW, that’s a f*kn good sandwich!». Thanks to Unilocal,we got a free fountain drink for checking in :). I also ordered a spicy chicken wrap, which I just saved for later cause my salad was very filling. Excited to try it later though! Feel horrible cause my 1 year old son left a trail of crumbs around our table. It’s super clean in there, so I hope they don’t take offense to it. Will be back again. They sell a variety of bread… I plan on purchasing a loaf and mailing it to my MIL in Michigan. She loves this homemade kind of stuff. Overall, awesome :).

I do like this place and its breads. However, I got a vegetarian sandwhich with a soda and it was $ 9 something. A little too pricy for me with subway right around the corner. I’ll go here to buy bread by itself in the future and skip the sandwiches.

Everyone is super nice and the sandwiches are SOGOOD. The popeye bread is my favorite. The ingredients they use are all so fresh. I drive half an hour to come get a sandwich here. You walk in and are greeted and offered a free LARGE sample(seriously, ¼ of one of their huge cookies is enough to be a cookie on its own) and the staff is knowledgeable about all their offerings.

Seating was a nightmare during their $ 2 french toast buffet. I had to sit outside in the rain with my baby and only got one slice of toast. I also found metal shavings in my french toast.

Google maps has the location wrong, it’s behind Five Guys. They have a very nice patio area, and a very clean restaurant. The employees are very friendly, welcoming, and smiley. I was first offered a free sample of bread from 5 or 6 different types. I picked a cinnamon something or other, which tasted fantastic. I got a tuna sandwich on whole wheat poppy seed bread(you pick your bread), it was very tasty. They have a large selection of fresh beads, and offer jams, jellies, and cookie dough mixes for sale. They also have doggie treats, coffee mugs and cups, cutting boards, bread knives, etc. for sale which I thought was pretty cool. I didn’t have a desert, but the selection of cookies and pastries looked deliciously tempting, and they have the biggest cinnamon rolls that I’ve ever seen. Nice music piped in overhead made my experience even better. This was a great choice for lunch, I’ll definitely be back. Thanks Unilocal for helping me find great restaurants.

Went in for their anniversary celebration($ 3 french toast buffet). Also got a free coffee(or hot chocolate) with the buffet. French toast was very thick cut from a fresh loaf, so maybe not what everyone would expect. It is not as moist in the center as most restaurant French toast. Employees were very friendly, and service was quick. there was only one self serve butter/syrup setting, so that was pretty much the log jam of the process. Seating was a little bit cramped, but I am sure it does not feel like that with a normal day’s crowd.

Great banana pudding and sandwich!!! So I had the Jala-RoaKey sandwich… Jalapeño spread with roast beef and turkey on their Popeye bread. Very good. Would like to try their BLAT next time(BLT with avocado). Only complaint is the guy who helped me. I wish he had told me a little more about the company. I thought it was obvious that it was my first time in, but I guess not. Overall great place, it smells like fresh bread as soon as you walk in, and you can really taste the freshness.

oh this place needs more reviews… This place is a cute restaurant where you can buy really nice bread. What is really awesome about this place is that they give you samples! I’ve had the Turkey & pepper jack and the Tuscan Chicken here. Personally I would recommend the turkey & pepper jack cause the spicy southwest mayonnaise is the bomb. I also tried the dallas bar: D a delicious oatmeal berry bar! I recommend going before 11am cause they have FREECOFFEE! coffee coffee coffee…

This place originated in my hometown of Salem, OR. So every time I come in it reminds me of home. One of the few places in Texas where you can get baked goods with quality ingredients. I have yet to try something that I don’t like!

We came here recently for lunch and were not disappointed. My wife got the Turkey and Pepper Jack Panini and I got the Tuscan Chicken Panini. Both were quite tasty and the sandwich portions were quite generous. They also gave us free cookie samples — each of which was nearly a third of the cookie! And then a Unilocal checkin got us a free drink and another free cookie!
