Tight fade but uneven from right to left side. Too high arching in middle. The lady who cut my hair sprayed water down my shirt. I liked the free Sierra Nevada beer by there was no bottle opener. In their was great with the chairs in the waiting room but mediocre music was blasting in there and I would have preferred to listen to ESPN but the sound was disabled. $ 30 for a haircut which includes shampoo and massage. There is no cheaper option. The black chick with the praying hands tattoo on her back left shoulder blade cut my hair and she did not take criticism well. She said she was trying to educate me. I asked for a one and she cut my hair with no guard on. Where I’m from that’s a .5. I like my hair short so I didn’t mind the result too much but it was in even. She also felt the need to change my hair line on my neck and on my temples. Jeez.

The hairstyles at this location are great but the one big issue I have is the person answering the phones… I was calling in today to touch base on my hair appointment and was placed on hold(no big deal) the phone hangs up after a minute, I call again… I hear«hello this is…» Then she begins to speak to a customer in front of her and hangs up on me… I’m guessing they really don’t need anyone’s business

I have been coming to Finley’s for years now– my two boys get their cuts here, and even my brother has started coming after just moving to town. They offer a comfortable lounge area, complimentary drinks, and even back massages. Giselle does a consistently exceptional job, and I could not recommend more highly!

Great service and no drama? Really? Yes. Online appointments are fantastic. Even though the front end is spot on. Oh Catie, why do you have to be so good? Now its harder to see you, but not impossible. They have the services men need without all the drama of a salon. Ask for the waiting area because its in back and get a refreshment. Finleys thumbs up for your staffing and atmoshpere.

Great atmosphere, and very clean kept barber shop. I usually request for Catie as she always does a great job and when I ask for a haircut to be done, she’ll get it done or recommend something that will look just as good. She doesn’t ever push hair products to me like other salons have but will provide her opinion if I do ask about a product to get a specific style that I want. Hair wash and a back massage is a added plus!

I used to get my hair cut at Floyd’s and i followed Catie to Finley’s. The waiting room is awesome and Catie does a great job with my hair every time i go. Takes her time, very personable, and the massage at the end definitely is a plus. I am also glad I followed her there because the waiting room with refreshers is pretty cool as well. Receptionist was sweet and got us in last minute. This place is where I would go if I were male — STRAIGHTRAZOR services, beard/mustache trims, AND haircuts. It smells great walking I the door. Thank you, Giselle! My boyfriend has atypical hair texture/curl, even more so with his facial hair. He went from wooly mammoth to George Clooney in less than 20 minutes. I hope he continues to come here. No gimmicks or frivolity — just affordable, clean, classy, and definitely a CUT above the rest!

I was looking for a barbershop for my boyfriend to call home and I think he may have found it! I called the shop to make a same-day appointment for him, the receptionist who answered the phone was really nice, bubbly and made a great first impression. Once we got there, we were asked if it was our first time there(which it was) and was walked into their waiting lounge that had complimentary drinks, comfy chairs, and a tv with a football game on. Everyone seemed very friendly and was all smiles. He had his haircut by Heather. Very sweet girl and kept asking him to make sure that he was okay and happy with his cut. He had asked her about getting a facial straight-razor shave but unfortunately she isn’t licensed to do so so he ended up not getting it done and just got it shaved by trimmers. Everything was very nice and the experience was great, he had just wished that everyone there would’ve been able to offer all the services. Pricing is a bit higher than one would expect but you do honestly get what you pay for at Finley’s. he said he will definitely be back!

Just went to Finley’s for the first time. I’m happy with the visit overall. The location is easy to find, it’s a small shop with a quaint little lounge in the back, one that could definitely stand to be larger by 2 – 3 seats(people had to stand while waiting for their cut.) My stylist, Shelby, gave a good cut, and was a pleasant conversationalist. She gave some styling tips for my difficult to work with hair, and overall I thought she did a fine job. She wasn’t trained/certified to use a straight razor, which was unfortunate. When I go next time, I will try to make an appointment with someone who can use the razor. Overall, I’m pleased with Finley’s. It’s a big step up from the Sport Clips and Supercuts of the world, and it doesn’t feel corporate and impersonal like Floyd’s or other larger shops. I’ll be back.

Seems to me there’s a few things you judge a barber shop on: * The atmosphere * The service * The duration * The result * The consistency I can’t give a 5-star because having only gone once I can’t answer consistency, but based on my experience today I imagine my next update will be a 5. The atmosphere is nice; not overly frilly like some places where you’re trying to convince each other you’re the President or something, but clean and clearly dedicated to men. Free refreshments while you wait — beer, water, soda, coffee, etc — are welcome if you get there super early. I made an appointment with Heather. A word on appointments: it’s 2015 — if you walk into a place where you can make an appointment and you didn’t make an appointment you have a mandate to chill the hell out on your service. Some of the negative reviews are clearly walk-ins and you have to own that. This isn’t SuperCuts, so if you want a great customer experience you need to live up to your end of helping keep their channel flowing smoothly. I’m not saying a bad experience is your fault, but it’s a two-way street. Anyway, Heather was great. The background on my being at Finley’s is last year I got promoted to a double-VP position. My old close-cropped cut just wasn’t making the grade. I’m in this«I want it longer but I have no clue what I’m doing» pickle, so I couldn’t give her a lot of direction to work with. Undeterred she asked me a lot of questions to try and feel me out. She was personable without being talkative to the point of not paying attention to her work — something a lot of stylists can’t manage. Her time management skills were great; half-hour appointment took 29 minutes. Some may not care about that, but to me it’s a requirement. The hot towel and massage are nice touches, but they bumper the work rather than trying to overshadow it like some of their competitors. I had a great customer experience, and the end result was great. I’m very happy with the cut, which matters far less than the fact that my wife likes it. All my boys out there know that’s the real measure, anyway. Plus: $ 30. Crazy cheap so you can tip better without feeling taken. Yes, that’s a thing; don’t be a cheapskate. I highly recommend Finley’s; they check all the boxes, and they performed admirably in the one way I am personally passionate about: personal, upbeat, attentive service. Can’t beat that with a stick.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt that I’m obligated to do so this time. The staff there are super friendly and very welcoming, and overall the hair cut was good. the coloring part was not good. I paid money for the coloring service to cover the few grey hair I have, but the grey hair is still there. I see no difference. The worst part was tapering my hair from the back and neck. The clippers he used, were super sharp, it cut my skin(and I was never told!). The barber was rushing because he had another customer to take care of. So the color did not take because it was not given enough time to work(not even 2 min)! I left paying full price for a service that cut my neck and did not dye my grays. I have been a customer for 7 months and will not be coming back. The three stars instead of the one would have given is because I was told I will be refunded(still waiting on that.)
