Crown Trophy

Crown Trophy in Plano is a great company to do business with. I’m not sure what Steve M in Allen in talking about because the people at Crown Trophy will tell you up front what the pricing is going to be. If they make a mistake, they correct it at no charge. The only time I had to pay for a correction was because i missed a mistake on the proof they sent me. But that was on me, not on Crown Trophy. I have been in the store when a local scout troop has been buying trophies for their Pine Wood Derby competition and the personnel are always willing to work with the organization. Perhaps Steve M was just having a bad day, but Crown Trophy is a good company that stands behind their work.

I went back again to get a marble nameplate engraved for my desk at work. They warned me that they can’t engrave it directly because of the type of marbling — it would crack if they tried. They had several options for engraving a plate to attach to the marble and it came out great and looks very classy. I opted for silver on black, with a silver backing that looks great on the black marble.
Service was excellent and it was done in a snap, and super affordable. When I have kids and may or may not need bows/​trophies or really anything, this will definitely be my place.

We went in to have. Crown Trophy help us with a Boy Scout Eagle project and they promised to help at a discounted price, but when we came to make the order, the items we thought were going to be discounted went up 10X and offers a lesser product for the agreed to cost. We took the lesser offer to stay inside budget, and the product delivered was not correct. When we asked them to correct the problem, they would only do so for an additional charge, and would not take back the error item for credit. They added words not in the request. Their mistake, my expense. Not good business people. Now we are stuck with an inferior product from a company that doesn’t stand behind their work. Very dissappointing.

No complaints here! They are fast, courteous, friendly, prices are reasonable, and the quality is amazing. If you need help making your dream trophy/​award, they are very patient and will answer any questions that you may have. Do give them a try when you’re in town. If you’re a local, and have not been here, what are you doing!!!

Very friendly! Super fast! I ordered a desk name plate for my husband on a Tuesday (before Valentine’s Day) and they had it ready by Wednesday afternoon. The name plate is gorgeous and perfect! Very courteous at the front desk — highly recommend this place for your trophy and engraving needs!
