I brought my son here to paint something for Father’s Day. This was our first time doing anything like this and the shop owner was extremely helpful and guided us when we needed it. We finished our piece and came to pick it up two days later and were happy with the results!

This was my first experience with painting pottery and I really enjoyed it. I went with my best friend and goddaughter and it really made for fun and creative afternoon out.
The owner greeted us promptly and was really sweet and informative. She explained the process quickly and efficiently and left us to browse the cozy storefront. She was very helpful and courteous our entire time there — even when our four year old companion got a little bored and antsy!
We picked out our pieces from their large selection of plates, platters, ornaments, mugs, frames, cell phone holders, etc. Since I’ve never been to one of these before, I can’t really say whether they are comparable to others. I can tell you that there was no studio fee and that the cost of the item includes the use of the paints, brushes, stencils, etc. available to decorate your piece. It also includes the glazing and firing of your piece. Sounds reasonable to me!
It takes about 5 – 7 days to get your item back. I’m anxious to see how my first attempt turned out. I’m very much looking forward to returning with my girlfriends for a ladies day out.
It felt a bit warm in there after awhile and either it’s because she had the heat on or those kilns just kick out loads of heat. Either way, my friend stepped out to Wendy’s and grabbed us some cold drinks and it was all good.
Definitely bring a drink, warm or cold, to sip on as you relax and paint!
