Really good burgers and fries. I have been twice and enjoyed the burgers. The dirty burger is not well seasoned, but is fresh and food. Prices are a tad high for lunch but portions are large.

The name says it all!!! The burgers selection was huge and the seasoning what they are using is just amazing. Great spot for vegetarian options as well. Check it out if you have the chance.

Good burgers. A little messy but still really good. The fries are excellent. I don’t recommend the cheese fries not what you’re expecting. Good staff and great service. I recommend this place as a good burger fry combo

HUGE hand crafted burgers and love the option to get baked taters or fries with my burger! Small inside seating area that is standard burger joint décor. You gotta get dirty at this place!

Really good quality, fresh food with a great menu. Fantastic original creations as well as a zillion self-created combination options. Also great for people looking to be healthy when everyone else wants a cheeseburger :) Today I walked in planning on getting a salad, but when I realized there were just as many calories as there could be in a burger so I created my own and had a bison burger in a collard green wrap with sweet pickles, spicy pico, and red onions and a side of Kimchi slaw and it was deeeeelish and healthy!

Is it strange to enjoy the simple things in life? Are the simple things in life… simple? My answers are yes. And… kinda. Dirtyburger is exactly that. You want a burger? You get it in all of its meaty glory: JUICY, soft, hot, cooked exactly as ordered, and flavorful. You want dirty? Well, there lies the rub. You can opt for the ‘dirty’ style burgers(and fries), which add a nice flavor not found at your other burger joint. Complementing yet not overwhelming. Try it, or don’t, but the burgers are the star and WILLNOT disappoint. The cut of the fries are Five Guys-sized and very delicious; crisp and golden perfection. The place seems clean and the waitress was very helpful and enthusiastic. Top that off with a nice beer and mixed drink list and you can’t do much better than this. Recommended!

Amazing selection of fish and vegetarian options, so don’t let the name fool you. Food is outstanding(especially love the dirty Ahi tuna sandwich and the dirty sweet potato fries). Kids menu, full bar, fresh brewed excellent coffee. A MUST try. Currently my favorite lunch place in Plainview. Good dinner menu too!

If you are searching for a fix for that ultimate, mouthwatering, juicy burger craving, then look no further. I think I can honestly say DirtyBurger makes the best burgers I’ve ever had and I don’t make statements like that lightly. I would give it 5+ stars if I could. The chef has this way of cooking the burgers by dipping them in his signature«Dirty Dust» which is a compilation of spices. Then, caramelizes the burger, locking in all the flavors in the cooking process. Ahh! It is sinful and heavenly all at once!!! My go to is the bison burger, but I’ve tried the signature Dirty burger and both do not disappoint! The fries are amazing, too, although I prefer mine«clean»(without the dirty dust). And, why not go all-out and share a chocolate milkshake with your buddy? They’re great! OH! AND they have a pretty great beer selection, too! If you appreciate socially-conscious buzz words, then you’ll be happy to hear the animals are grass-fed and free of hormones. It shares the parking lot with the Fairway grocery in Plainview, so it’s not hard to find.

I was watching«Beat Bobby Flay» on Food Network the other day and learned about Chef Russo and his restaurant, DIRTYBURGER. When I learned it was Plainview, just around the corner from my old stomping grounds, I had to go check it out. We went in for a Saturday lunch. Nice, open feel — doesn’t feel cramped. Friendly staff all around. We were a party of 5 + 2 kids and they were able to set up our table in a reasonable amount of time. When we got there, there were tables open, but as our lunch progressed, boy did the tables fill up quick! It’s all about the Dirty Dust at this place, a blend of dry spices reminiscent of familiar Indian flavors. They put it on everything! Before the fact, I was a little skeptical, but after the meal, they won me over. That flavor combination works … in EVERYTHING(burgers, fries, tortilla chips, even in some of their drinks)! We started off with chips & guacamole, jalapeño poppers, and onion rings. The poppers were excellent: hot, creamy, with the proper jalapeño pop. The guac was fresh and tasty. The onion rings were okay, but could’ve been better; the onions could’ve used a little more time for browning. My wife had the Dirty Wings as her main plate. No question, the best part of the entire meal! No wonder they were voted 2014 Best Wings on LI! A hint of sweetness with that moist meat — great one-two punch. My sister had the Dirty Bison burger. That’s a clean and lean sandwich. First time I’ve ever tasted bison, and the place sets a great standard that may be hard to follow. I had the Original Dirtyburger. In hindsight, I should’ve put some toppings, like lettuce or a portobello cap to get some flavor variety(my oversight). However, the burger is great — juicy, melts in your mouth, great accompanying sauces, nice & soft bun, satisfying through the last bite. That additional tinge of sweetness was a bonus in every bite. I need to try the bunless option next time! My wife ordered the cole slaw — she wasn’t a fan; wouldn’t order that again. The price was fair for what we ordered and the quality of food that we received. Our waitress was nice, but she was forgetful a couple of times in bringing things we had asked for(had to ask at least three times for my daughter’s chocolate milk), but it was getting busier, so it’s forgivable. Because of my Unilocal check-in, I got 5% off the bill. Sweet! I’d go back again if I’m in the neighborhood — no question. Chef Russo even chatted with me from the kitchen as we were heading out; what a brush with a celebrity! Couldn’t take the selfie, though…

My fiancé and I were in the area so I was excited to check this place out since I’ve heard a lot about it. We were seated as soon as we walked in, the place had a fun vibe to it with bright colors and a warm staff. We started with the wings for an appetizer, we appreciated that the server pointed out that we could mix the flavors. Wings were cooked well and had a lot of meat and flavor. I ordered the lamb burger while my fiancé had the bison. Both were excellent; juices literally dripped from his. They were cooked perfectly. They had a BOGO special on Cold Snap beers which was a great deal. Our server was extremely friendly and on top of things(extra napkins and water without us having to ask) I saw several reviews that Dirty Burger is a little pricy, but we thought that the prices were fair considering the quality. Overall we were extremely happy with our experience and hopefully we will be back in the area sooner than later so we can go back

This is a cute eatery This Hippie love themed burger joint claims to use grass fed, organic meat and produce. They use a rub all of their own, to season the food(dirty rub) I had the very dirty veggie burger. It’s a portobello mushroom seasoned with various toppings of my choice. I’m not a huge fan of Cole slaw, but theirs was crisp, fresh and lightly tossed I. Their dirty sauce. It was yummy! You can of course customize your order(at a price per topping). The staff is friendly and informed. Although I think the topping choices are delicious, there are burger places like cheeburger cheeburger and five guys that give u many choices for free. They shoukd think abiut branching out ans making more locations. I did travel far. The food was delicious and I would definitely go again, if I am in the area…

I absolutely love Dirty Burger. They are always consistent and make the best burgers ever. I travel about a half hour to go here and I am never disappointed. From the décor to the staff I am always happy. I get the original dirty burger with swiss cheese, a portobello mushroom cap, and mayo. I switch back and forth from regular French fries(always clean because the dirty dust is too much for me) and sweet potato fries also clean. The sweet potato fries are perfect you might even want a second batch. Actually, probably not the burger will fill you up, maybe one to bring home? The way they season the burger and the garlic sauce they put on the burger is sent from the food gods. It is so good and unlike anything I’ve ever had. The two sauces they give on the side are also amazing. I would buy the white one by the gallon if I could. Don’t miss out on this place, way better than any burger chain out right now.

This place was ok. The dirty seasoning is fantastic. However, I found the portions to be small, the food prep to be sloppy, and prices a bit high. The tap beer was confirmed by the waitress to be $ 5 for happy hour, yet I was charged full price on the bill. Also there was too much head. A beer should have a bit of head at the top, but not 2 ½ inches of head. The onion rings were prepped and plated in a very careless manner. Some of the rings were battered as a slice clear through the onion and included all rings to the core of the onion(see my pic). The wife had a chicken burger. It was good, but small! The fries were fantastic. I had a salmon entrée. The salmon was cooked properly and tasted good, but the side of sautéed spinach was super bland. Nothing was added to the spinach at all. The worst part was when the bill came, my wife and I looked at each other and said«really, that wasn’t worth that much money». All in all this isn’t a bad place, but I’m pretty sure that once was enough for me. If you live near by give them a shot. I wouldn’t suggest driving out of your way to dine here like I did.

After a great Unilocal Elite event I vowed to give Dirty Burger another chance, I wasn’t a fan before the event(see my previous review). I was slightly skeptical as I returned with another Unilocal Eliter(is that even a word) for lunch today and asked Joe N not to check in until after we received our meal. Is it possible that the Unilocal Elite event was so good because the chef knew who he was serving? Maybe, and I didn’t want our«check in» to change our experience. We were seated right away and a friendly waitress came over to take our drink order. So far so good. We ordered an appy, the Dirty PIB(pigs in the blanket) and we each had the Dirty Lamb. This, in my opinion, was the stand out at the Elite Event. The Dirty PIB came out relatively quickly and were just perfect. Our burgers came out a short time after we finished the appetizer and were also perfect. Delicious and juicy. I opted for the onion rings instead of dirty fries and was happy I did. I’m not a huge fan of the fries here(at least the dirty fries) but these onion rings were amazing. Hey Bareburger Plainview, check out Dirty Burger to see how a burger joint should be. Quick friendly service, big delicious burgers served with a side all at a fair price. Way to go Dirty Burger.

WOW! That’s how I HAVE to start this review. This burger may have been one of the best burgers I’ve had on the Island yet! First, my GPS may have been drunk bc it didn’t find the location right away; however, it is in a convenient location off of Manetto Hill in Planview in the plaza with Fairway Market. There’s adequate parking and it is close to the LIE, which for a Suffolk County resident such as myself makes it easy to get to. As I mentioned before my GPS had me a bit lost, so I called in and asked an employee for directions and they were more than pleasant and very helpful — thank goodness. The restaurant itself is on the«narrow» side I would say, as it goes«back» more than«wide». I was impressed with the full bar which is visible upon arrival. I came with one other person and we were seated right away, and our server, Kim, was soooo nice! She explained the menu and the choices available to us. I went with a Dirtyburger, he went with a Double. The seasoning on both the burger and fries was readily available on the tables and we both took advantage. It was quite a tasty blend of spices, making both the fries and burger even better than they were prior! We were given the option to have our burger cooked the way we preferred, which I appreciate at a burger joint. Our food was cooked to perfection, the fries as well! I was beyond impressed with both food and service and would recommend this spot to anyone. Price wise I would say it is a bit on the expensive side, a party of two(including my $ 6 Sangria and his $ 5 Bud Light) cost $ 41 and change before tip, but it was worth it. Our waitress made sure we needed for nothing. Dirtyburger pleeeease come to Suffolk — we need you!

This one of the many burger places popping up all over LI is another one that I wouldn’t mind having stick around. Located in the Fairway shopping center in Plainview, you’re greeted right at the door by the friendly staff. Ordered a classic burger which was pretty thick, very juicy and served medium. Was tempted to order an appetizer, glad I didn’t because after the burger I was stuffed. Wasn’t a huge fan of the the fries, both classic and dirty. Service was pretty quick and very friendly and prices, though slightly higher for burgers, are fine because of the good quality. I’d come back and recommend it to those who like thick, tasty burgers.

I first met this wonderful little place at an Elite event a few weeks ago. I was dazzled with the food, drinks, service & definitely the chef/owner Ian. That smile… Gets me each time. Oh yeah the food. Sorry. I met my Food Boo Justin(Just a friend, he’s young enough to be my son) here to start the year off Dirty. I ordered the Jalapeño poppers and the Dirty Lamb Burger with Honey Goat Cheese and Bacon. Justin ordered the skirt steak with Mac & Cheese. I feel awful but I had to deduct a star for some inconsistencies. Chef Ian I see your vision! I get it, I really do. But my burger wasn’t near as good as it was the last time. Nor as good as Justin said his was yesterday. I am led to believe someone else cooked this burger. It was done & I asked for medium rare & tasted passionless. So I did something I never like to do, I sent it back. What came back was what I was expecting. A more flavorful, juicy burger. Like it was cooked with love & pride. I turned around & oooohh there’s that smile I recognize. Hi I say. He speaks to me, what was that? Happy New Year?! Thank you. Same to you. Justin is now cracking up as I melted in my seat. Maybe that’s why my burger tasted better. IDK if he cooked it or supervised, but it was waaaay better than the first one. The Dirty Fries with Truffle Mayo were hot, crisp & on point. Then for a little hair of the dog. I ordered a Cookie Dough Milkshake with an addition of Red Stagg Black Cherry Bourbon. Outstanding! I will be back. I love what Chef Ian is trying to do. So I’m coming back for a recount. Think I’ll just make sure Chef Ian is there when I go so I can guarantee a passion filled meal. Written 1-1-2016

When I’m willing to drive 25 mins to get a burger, you know it’s good. There’s a BareBurger and five guys within five minutes of me, but after experiencing DirtyBurger last week at a private event, I was hooked… and back 6 days later, dragging my friends along and insisting they are in for a great meal! I was right and everyone loved the burgers and apps. I ordered the dirty PIB(pigs in blanket basket) for the table, not without comments from my friends, and again, I was right ;) DELISH and seasoned so perfectly– order these little guys! Two of us had original dirtyburgers, and I had mine just as is with only lettuce as a topping, because I wanted to savor the burger meat. So flippin good! Also had a mojito, a friend had a burger with a *gluten free* bun and enjoyed it– not one of those GF buns that taste like a rock, either. Everyone got dirty fries with their burgers(all burgers come with fries or cole slaw. or you can upgrade to other deluxe sides on the back of the menu) and the fries were a very generous portion. Overall, it’s a hit! So glad I found this place since it’s not in my usual stomping grounds!

Alright alright! When I’m wrong, I’m wrong! First off, the local towns folks love this place. I’ve received a few crazy emails and trust me, I don’t bend to peer pressure. If you suck, I will write about this place sucking. Also, I don’t care about your town, Go Seawolves! I came here for a party before Christmas. I meet the manager and tell her about my past experience, she said she’ll change my way of thinking after the meal. Maybe it was an off night, maybe they had a chef at night who was leaving, who knows. What I do know is that night I had the Lamb Burger and it blew my socks off. I came home and told my wife, we need to have dinner here soon. Yes, it’s that good. Walking in tonight, we met both Michele the manager as well as the other cheerful waitress at the party. I quickly ordered the onion ring tower and a beer. Then I made a deal with my wife, lets order a Lamb Burger and a Regular Dirty Burger. Lets half the burgers, If you don’t like the LB then you can fall back on the regular burger. Deal! The burgers come out, one with fries and one with cole slaw(Amazing by the way) The Lamb Burger with its cucumber layers, arugula and feta was amazing. What we both loved was the Dirty Burger. Less fancy as the Lamb Burger but I thought the bun was better and juicier! What a great meal we had tonight. Dirty Burger, I love ya. And crazy stalker guy from a few months back? Its like the Snoopy & Red Baron song, Merry Christmas my friend! Tonights meal just made the number one slot on my Long Island burger list.

If you’re wondering what makes a DirtyBurger dirty, it’s a dusting of spices with a bit of honey. It’s a unique flavor that I enjoyed, but it can get to be overwhelming over the course of a whole meal. If you don’t wanna do it dirty, you can still do it the good ol’ fashioned way. The service was friendly and the other menu items looked interesting enough to make me want to come back and try them out. Not sure if this would be my first choice for burgers, but I wouldn’t turn it down if someone wanted to go. It’s worth trying if you haven’t been here before.
