Four 13 Salon & Spa

SO happy to have finally found a salon and stylist that I love! Had such a great haircut experience with Clelia. It was such a pleasant, relaxing visit and my hair looks great! I’ve already booked my next appointment. I highly recommend Clelia and Four:13 Salon!

A pamphlet states: «We are committed to providing the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience and environment everytime.» I say: YES YOU DO!!!
I visited Four 13 for a cut and color. What I got was a cut and color and a VERY relaxing spa-​type of experience. The salon itself is nestled of the beaten path just minutes from downtown Plainfield in a charming home that has been completely remodeled on the inside. Sarah was so warm and inviting, she listened to exactly what I wanted. A hot towel, a soothing eye mask, hand and arm massage all contributed to a very original experience, none of this expected, all of it very welcome. Even the wash bowls were spa-​like in that you lay back in a comfy chaise lounge with a wonderful pillow for comfort. Best of all is that my hair looks great!
I normally dread taking an afternoon or evening to get my hair done, now I think I am going to have to take some special vitamins so my hair grows fast and I can come visit sooner!
The only bad part about it is that Unilocal doesn’t have 10 stars to give this wonderful salon.
One important note: This is a nontipping salon where tipping is not accepted or expected. I was very surprised, pleasantly so, when Sarah shared this with me. And she even sent me home with a cute gift bag filled with some great Aveda products. Can’t wait to visit again!

Pampered and EXTREMELY relaxed and beautiful. During my shampoo Sarah gave me a hand and arm massage, used heated towels, and put warm eye pillows on my poor tired eyes, every single aspect of my experience was well thought out and amazing! If I lived in Illinois I would be her most loyal customer. This salon is a MUST for anyone looking for an exceptional salon experience!

This is a relaxing escape from the busy world! My hair is always beautiful when I leave here! I look forward to my next appointment!
