These guys are awesome! We have used stymeist for years and they have always had great service. Recently I hit a Deer with my F350 I brought it into them because they work directly with mercury insurance. They were on the truck right away. It took a couple weeks for them to get the parts since ford kept sending the wrong parts which wasn’t their fault. Once they got all the parts the truck was painted and finished in two days! Sean my estimator was great through the whole process keeping me up to date on what was going on. Will use these guys for years to come.

AMAZING customer service and work. A deer ran into my boyfriends truck while I was driving and it did major damage to the entire drivers side doors and drivers side window. Glass and deer hair were all over the inside and the drivers side door couldn’t be opened. I called the next morning and talked to Devin and he said to bring it right in. Devin was wonderful and he had the paperwork done and then made sure me and my son had a ride home. He called later that day to tell me what was going on and kept me informed the entire time the truck was being worked on. Totally professional and easy to work with. He dealt with the insurance company and let me know when the estimate changed. When the truck was finished and we picked it up, it looked brand new. The inside was spotless, no glass, no deer hair and the work they did was incredible.

Fantastic! Kevin was my service contact there, and he quoted that they’d get my repair done in 3 days. It was done in 2 days! Their team is great! Jolie, who handles the phones, really knows her stuff. This body shop has a free shuttle into town, while they are working on your car, and Steven was the driver. He was never in a rush and allowed me to take my time when picking me up. And, my car looks like brand new. They washed the outside and cleaned the inside. Their attention to detail is fantastic. Really, if I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Up front I have to say this happened to us 3+ years ago but I am still steaming mad and think I should share my experience.
Car was backed into on the passenger side. Stymeist Auto Body did the repair: took off the passenger door, fixed it, etc. When we got it back, the radio no longer worked — only static. Clearly an issue with the antenna wire (or whatever, I’m no stereo guru) that leads to the back of the car. Took it back and they would NOT accept ownership nor try to fix it. Radio worked fine before it went in, even with the damaged door. Seemed simple to me. If a business will not stand behind its work it is not a place I want to do business with.
I have needed body work done twice since then and NEVER would consider going to Stymeist. When my friends ask for recommendations, I certainly have a better recommendation for them.

I wound up in a lest than desirable situation last Friday, with a breakdown far from home. Although I did no business with the auto body shop, I want to give a huge thank you to Melissa Mendoza at the Hertz rental facility on site. After completing paperwork to get me on the road to my Tahoe destination, I received a call from the shop letting me know they’d found a blown fuse and my Tahoe was ready to roll. Melissa kindly voided the contract and had their courtesy van drive my friend and I back to the repair shop where my vehicle was at no charge. This was an extremely stressful afternoon, but thanks to all the wonderful people I came in contact with, had a happy ending. Thank you Melissa for your wonderful customer service!

I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Steve Stymeist Auto Body in Placerville. I was amazed with how fast the whole process went for my wife and I. Steve T our collision advisor keep us up to date with each step of the process. Steve made sure everything was resolved with my insurance company and updated me daily on the repair status of our vehicle. Both my wife and I would highly recommended Stymeist Auto Body to our friends and family. When all said and done it was nice to do business with a company that still values its customer and quality of work. Thanks again for exceeding my expectation!

2010 Honda Pilot Touring rear-​ended, took out tail light, bumper, and then when it was opened up other stuff. Very meticulous photo documentation for my insurance company (USAA — been with them for 50 years.) Reasonable time for repair, called when it transitioned into fabrication, called when it went into the paint shop. Beautiful job. So perfect I could not tell any difference. Not even where the old paint met the new paint. I’ve also had an XK-​140 Jaguar and an E-​Type Jaguar, both needing work, and had to be the dealer, but they were not as good as Stymeist with the Honda. I would say I would be back, but hope not, but if I have to I will.

I have had Steve and his crew repair 3 cars of mine. Everytime their interaction with the insurance companies was seemless and easy. Their work is great. The aftercare follow-​up is fantastic! Can’t go wrong with Steve and his crew.
