I will definitely give AK Five stars for just being a great, consistent, original donut shop. There’s no fancy donuts here BUT you will always get a soft fluffy donut. Their croissants, which I warm up for a few seconds when I get to work, are legit and to die for.(But you probably will die eating too many because there must be a lot of butter to make it as soft – so soft– as it is). Apparently there are bear claws and cinnamon rolls I need to try, but I’m not sure if I can step away from the delicious croissants if I’m a hungry hungry hippo that morning. Drop by if you’re on the way. It’s on a corner, so you can’t miss it!

I love this place! Whenever I’m up early for work and need a quick breakfast I go here! All of their donuts are fresh and yummy, and the prices never cease to amaze me! A whole dozen donut holes for like two dollars? Yes please! I’ve never ever been disappointed in the past year I’ve been going here.

BESTDONUTSEVER!!! I grew up on A. K’s. Donuts. My Dad would bring me here before school and we would have a donut together. Now as an adult I still stop here when in town just to taste the sweet memories. That is exactly what my wife and I did last week. I picked out a Apple Fritter that I ate so fast, I never even got a picture lol. As always there was apples in every bite. I also had to get a cinnamon roll because they are the best. The cinnamon rolls here are coated with a good amount of glaze but it isn’t overly sweet so it is good. They don’t skimp on the cinnamon either. My wife had a Bear Claw(her fav here) and could only eat half so I had to do my duty and finish it. The thing melts in your hand when you even pick it up. The bear claw looks big and heavy but it is light, soft, and just plain good. The apples inside are just a bonus. Prices range from .80 cents, .85 cents, .95 cents, and $ 1.25 for donuts. You make your purchase at the window(no inside entry) and they clearly display all the fresh donuts they have at the moment in the window. There is some seating outside if you are lucky enough to grab a spot from one of the regulars but I have eaten most of my fair share right in my own car in the parking lot.

I have never had better donuts! I can never get just one, I must get a dozen each time. Let me tell you there is no comparison between A.K.‘s and Krispy Kreme. AK’s is the real deal and I will never enjoy another donut better. The woman at the window often gives me a free donut or coffee when I purchase a certain amount of donuts which is just a nice extra touch. Donuts start at just $.80 cents and for some of the bigger filled donuts they are $ 1.25. Great prices! There is a walk-up window. They are not open all day long and it is best to get there as soon in the morning as you can before the good stuff sells out. The«Bear Claw» and«Apple Fritter» are legit. The bear claw is big in size, but a light donut that melts in your mouth with each bite. The cinnamon apples in the center of it never hurts either! I just wish we had A.K.‘s in Las Vegas! This will always by my go-to donut spot when in Cali. If you haven’t tried them yet you really need to!
