I came here for lunch and ordered two sandwiches to go. I got a BLT, which was the most expensive I’ve ever ordered, and after waiting for over 45 minutes, they made me the wrong sandwich. My girlfriend liked her food, but the quality was still not worth the time wasted in line or the high price. Even if they did give me the right sandwich, if I was looking to spend the same amount of time and money getting lunch, I easily could have gone to a sit down restaurant, which would have taken about the same amount of time and would have had much better food for the same price. I don’t plan on coming again.

I was pretty hungry and didn’t have a ton of time. I got a breakfast sandwich with eggs and goat cheese to go. I was nervous because sometimes breakfast sandwiches in general can be small. NOTHERE. This thing was expert level breakfast sandwich making. It was big. The bread was toasted multigrain. The sandwich was moist, flavorful and perfect. This place is a winner.

My wife and I went here for brunch and all I can say is, «STOPREADINGTHISANDHEADOVERTHERENOW!». I ordered scrambled eggs with Gruyère, sausage, maple covered bacon, arugula & onions. It was food made in heaven. I couldn’t even hold the sandwich together because it was so big. Their mocha coffee was delicious. I was full that I didn’t have the apple turnovers that I was suppose to split with my wife. They’re very busy so getting a table inside would be difficult and you might have to share one with a couple because they’re the«bench» tables. You might not even notice them next to you because of the noise level. We will definitely be back when we’re around the area.

We were staying locally through AirBnB and this was the 3rd breakfast out over our 5 days here. I did a French toast comparison, and this was the BEST French toast of the bunch. I had the stuffed French toast which was thick, chewy, with almonds and cream cheese stuffing and a blueberry compote on top. Yummy! My son had Mikayla, an open faced egg sandwich with avocado and poco de gallo; he would only share on miserly bite with me. My husband had the Caroline, which was brioche bread with Gruyère cheese and a poached egg; again, snarfed up expect for a few bites. Great atmosphere, fresh baked goods, and coffee. Hard to find, but next to the downtown Pittsford Starbucks.

Village Bakery has a trendy rustic feel. Their create-your-own breakfast sandwich menu is convenient and absolutely amazing. It’s a great way to experiment with fresh ingredients and be guaranteed a tasty dish. I’ve had quite a few different dishes here and they’re all wonderful. If you have a sweet tooth, their macarons are to die for! Seriously, they are some of the best in Rochester. My favorite drink is the French toast latte. So so so delicious. You have to try it. Also, they always have free samples of their breads so give them a try.

Super disappointed. I’ve had great breakfast here a while ago and great soup once. I decided to order on my lunch break last week. I ordered online– croque Monsieur sandwich and a macaroon cookie. When I arrived I added on a drink and a soup(cream of broccoli but listed cream of asparagus online) the sandwich had very little hm in it, the bread was burned, the cookie was completely missing, and the soup was bland. I emailed twice with pics of my food with no response. Counter service seemed disorganized with little sense of urgency. I noticed this when I’ve been here for breakfast but didn’t mind on the weekend. If you’re in a hurry I wouldn’t try here. Even though I ordered online and was given a specific time(20min) it wasn’t ready when I arrived.

I grew up in Pittsford and remember when this space was a Saab dealership! Happy to report that the bakery is a positive improvement in my visits to the village. My friend and I were in town for a baby shower and hit up Village Bakery & Café for breakfast. I made my own egg sandwich — with whole wheat toast, avocado, tomato and muenster. It. Was. Game changing. All super simple ingredients, but seasoned and executed so well. It tasted like home and comfort and a warm hug all at the same time. Plus the staff were super friendly and cheery. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back!

Right in the heart of Pittsford village. Great location but parking here is frighteningly tight. The spots back right into the outdoor seating. I would almost prefer parking street side than in here. The interior is quite a marvel. Modern, stoic, earthy. All of the goods are piled high and presented beautifully. Wide open spaces, high ceilings, and huge windows. This place is bright, and features a nice palette of browns, blacks and metals. Baked goods are wonderful. Be sure to grab a loaf of bread on the way out, and be sure to try the macaroons. A bit pricey but they are huge and don’t lack on taste. Sandwiches are pretty good. Great ingredients but are typically quite dry due to the thick cuts of bread. I think that being said, they are a bit skimpy for the price, but they do come with a pickle and chips and everything is cooked expertly. Service is excellent, everybody smiles and has something to recommend if you ask it. I’d recommend the croque madame and a toasted smore cappuccino.

Great fresh bread, pastries, breakfast, coffee. Nice industrial setting. I didn’t have a sandwich but they looked incredible and I think the other reviews backed that up. Ironically it’s right next to Starbucks — why would anyone go there? :)

Best breakfast in Rochester. For real.(Yes I’m a stranger and I just added«for real» as if that was supposed to mean something.) But FORREAL(dang it did it again) the BEAST breakfast in ROC. The staff here is a delight. Love them a ton. Favorite order: The Caroline Their Coffee is great! Almost Pour/Joe Bean great and at half the cost. Their stuffed French toast is slap your momma good. And I mean slap your freaking momma good. I’ve never slapped my momma personally, for ethical reasons of course. But holy heck I’d slap that chica as an overflow of my shock and amazement at their stuffed French Toast! If you are visiting the area. Stop looking and stop in. If you don’t your a cretin. If you live here please don’t be silly. Eat here now. It’s one of the few pearls within Rochester.

This is the cutest hidden gem of all time!(And it’s not an exaggeration!) Its got this adorable and friendly atmosphere as soon as we walked in. It’s easy to drive past because it’s recessed from the storefronts on either side and the parking is a bit tricky. The baristas were so sweet, even though my companion was acting absolutely ridiculous. The coffee was delicious and piping hot. The pastries were… Okay. The macaroons were stale and chewy. Not at all what I look for in a meringue based dessert but the cakes and scones were lovely. I would definitely be going there again!

Breakfast is usually my fave meal at VBC. So many delicious breakfast sandwiches to choose from! I also love their chicken salad sandwich at lunchtime. I prefer the Culver Armory location to the Pittsford location. It’s hoppin’ most of the time. I like to grab a cold brew coffee and take a stroll through Cobbs Hill Park. Warning: service can be a little slow when they’re crowded.

The village bakery and Café. What a wonderful place. I came in looking for breakfast although it’s kind of late in the day. They have some very interesting openface egg sandwiches. The bakery part of it looks delicious. I had an openface poached egg sandwich that was delicious. I highly recommend this place, it is truly a jewel. Although parking can be a challenge

What a cute place! It has this New York City urban granola vibe, which is endearing in this quaint area of Pittsford Village. I came here for Sunday brunch, and the line was out the door. Luckily, some people got their food to go, and there was actually a lot of seating at the private or communal tables inside as well as those set up outdoors. There’s a large area with breads and desserts as well which looked fantastic. In any case, I tried the French toast(the stuffed version was sold out, which was a real bummer) and was standard but good. Tasted fresh. The Quiche Lorraine was yummy! Perfect consistency, bits of bacon, good side. Came with a very fresh side salad. Loved it. My mom got an open-faced sandwich she made herself. It’s $ 6 for the standard sandwich, and you can add various meats or veggies to it. Coffee was good and strong! Great place.

Preface: I have not been had anything from their P.M. Provisions menu. I love a good sammy but breakfast sammys take the cake any day for me. The breakfast sammy choice here is inventive and delicious. They have classic options as well as fun choices that involve pesto or Gruyère umm fancy! You can also make your own and there are tons of options to choose from. The only downside to the sammy is that they can ere on the side of greasy on occasion. But, I can really appreciate the hand formed sausage patty so, not all is forgiven, but most of it. From the bakery, I have never had a disappointing experience. The brioche is fabulous. Sourdough, chewy and tangy in all the right ways. Ginger molasses cookie with real chunks of candied ginger? YES! The downsides are that parking is tight and the seating can be too. So on a Sunday or Saturday afternoon I’d order take out.

1st time here and loved it! I was so hungry that I forgot to take any pictures! I devoured the Quiche Lorraine which came with a nice little spring salad and lemon vinaigrette. It was excellent with caramelized onions, bacon and Cheddar cheese! I also had a maple scone! Friends had the B.A.L.T, stuffed french toast and a Ruben! Everyone loved everything! Going to need to return with my hubby!

Whoa down graded a star, I was confused at my most recent visit. We ordered breakfast, the stuffed French toast was like I recalled. The other two egg based sandwiches were not at all. The Alex egg number had the equivalent of 3 – 4 eggs piled on, the Mikayla had a sad slice of bacon and one lil egg. In addition to the lack of protein the avocado and pico were woeful, I asked for an additional helping of the pico, one thing about an open kitchen… you can see the put off faces the staff make. I received another tablespoon to add to my first tablespoon. Meh meh meh

I came back here for a brunch experience. It was my first time brunching here and my last time brunching here– bittersweet! it was a good note, and a proper representation of the city of Pittsford. Had their lemonade, which was refreshing. It complimented my croissant sandwich with egg, cheese, and some kind of meat. Also tried their toast, which was amazing with the dip. This is definitely a place to check out when you’re in town!

Finally I am here! Was wondering for a while what everyone has been raving about. With reviews so good, coming to this bakery was a must for me. A lovely, cozy atmosphere. The gentleman behind the counter was so nice and helpful. I got a macaron, three of them actually. Salted caramel, vanilla bean and chocolate. Loved them. Chocolate one was the best. Having said that, call me a poor connoisseur, but I couldn’t detect much of a difference between the three macarons. A little expensive I would say for a such a tiny macaron! Along with a cup of coffee, I enjoyed the overall outcome. My friend got the caramel pecan brownie which was to die for. I wouldn’t rate this place as $ only, would give it $$. Good overall. Not extraordinaire! :)
