I went there on 6÷6÷16 and ordered the pesto turkey sandwich. There was hardly any turkey on it. I would not go back.

This place is so great. Everyone who works there is super nice. Their prices may be a bit high, but if you feel like treating yourself to good food, then it’s definitely worth it. You know that what your paying for is quality. Try one of their subs and get the pesto mayo, it’s delicious!

Leo’s is a Rochester staple. They have expanded their location in the last few years and now have a large café area. They offer meals to take home to heat and eat as well as a large deli selection of Boar’s head meats and cheeses. They have many cakes, cookies and desserts. They have a great selection of sandwiches which they make on their homemade bread and sub rolls and are tasty and come with one of their large cookies. I am not a fan of their cakes as I find them to be dry but the pies are really good. Try their peanut butter pie — so rich and creamy! They have some wonderful chocolate dipped cannolis — crispy shell and creamy filling. My absolute favorite almond paste cookies topped with slivered almonds, soft almond paste interior — Just get some! The Italian cookies are $ 10lb and worth every penny. Their black/white moon cookies are wonderful as well as their cupcakes, brownies and cheesecake. The have gelato and espresso though I haven’t tried them. Location does get a little busy around lunch time as you could expect.

Holy half moon cookie heaven. Scratch that. Holy pastry heaven! This place has a wonderful selection of drop cookies, half moon cookies, cakes, tarts, and so many more desserts. They also have an entire deli section full of good looking meats, cheese, and sandwich options that are quite tempting. However, the few times I’ve gone, I’ve stuck to the dessert and am never disappointed. Everytime the partner and I go, we make sure to grab at least a dozen half moon cookies to go. We’ll break the box open and have 1.5−2 cookies each the minute we get to the car. Just can’t resist them! Highly suggest you pop in if you’re in the Rochester area and try these put! Sweet, cakey, great frosting. What more could you ask for?!

The cakes and cookies are delicious! Picked up 2 of their gourmet cakes(Oreo and Chocolate Decadence) for a birthday party-on a Saturday. The process was easy and accurate and we got rave reviews on the cake! We also might have had to sample some cookies while we were in and those were also really tasty!

This review is for food only! Leo’s is delicious and worth the drive from the city! Will keep coming here, irregardless of customer service.

Epic fail on the sub sandwich side… inconsistent quality. Service at the counter is usually ok. Floor had spills on it not cleaned up… the bakery side is great product and quality. Disappointing the sandwich side can’t pull it together and be as high qul

I make the 40 minute drive from my house during special holidays to get pies and other baked goods. Other times during the year I may drive out for baked good items that the hubby is craving. There cheesecake slices are very good and huge… Pies are to die for, and the subs are excellent as well. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Try the Cuban sandwich! Best one I’ve ever had. The Tiramisu and cannolis are great! I tried the cream puffs and they were just okay. The pastry was dry and the cream was thicker and richer than I thought it’d be. The wide selection is surely something that’ll keep me coming back to try more.

Updated my review to reflect that there is a huge seating area now, some good looking«to go» meals. Interesting selection of gourmet and imported grocery items think baked goods is where they shine though, nearly any kind of pie, cake, or pastry you would want. I really had a craving for lemon meringue pie, and yes… it was there! Very busy place, at least on the weekend — getting out of the parking lot without hitting another car or a pedestrian is a challenge!

Got a take out sandwich that was good but nothing phenomenal. I was told the person taking the order in the phone was pretty rude.

I love the Boars head meat at the deli! That part is 4 stars. The subs are amazing. Great bread. I was very disappointed yesterday when I picked up 6 cupcakes to bring to work and they were all stale and everyone threw them out. The frosting wasn’t too bad but the cake part was just terrible.

Leo’s is cool. We come here probably about once or twice a year for some seasonal baked goods which can only be found around Christmastime. Their baked goods are generally delicious. We recently tried their red velvet cake and a few other goodies such as their cheesecake cake pops and chocolate ganache cake. Each were very good, but I especially loved the red velvet. One of my family members love their mince meat pies which are kind of rare to find in most bakeries. If you’re in the neighborhood, definitely worth the visit.

I’m glad they do well here. I support local businesses, even if they aren’t particularly are my favorite. If you are in the area though, Leo’s is a great place to stop. It’s mobbed at lunch time on a sunny day so be aware that it may be overwhelming! I think they have a decent sandwich selection for lunch and since they expanded their building they have much more places to sit and eat. I have bought a few deserts from here in the past(red velvet), they were good but I definitely have had better for the price. I more or so like the deli over the bakery. But hey, I am not a sweets person anyways. Be careful walking around because you’ll want to shop a bit and may end up spending more on goodies!

This place has everything! The options are overwhelming. There’s basically a grocery store worth of Italian goods here. Everything from dessert to cold cuts to a breakfast sammies. If you’re ever in need of something for a brunch or a party, the quiche is great to-go. It tastes just like homemade. There’s also a ton of space if you want to eat in. I wish I had more time to sit and work my last visit, I could have had a super quiet, productive work session as they have a ton of space in the back with tables and booths. I tried their croissant egg sandwich with bacon recently from the sandwich area and I loved that they made the egg right before it went on top of the croissant. Everything was crisp and melty. While they made it I scoped around the store in case I could splurge on anything else. They also have a ton of sandwich and wrap options too. There’s always something happening that’s worth picking up one of their pre made items or a treat from the bakery. The selection is vast and most of it’s homemade.

Leo’s is a bakery(lots of italian cookies, pre-made cakes, and other desserts) and a deli(BOARSHEAD!!!) I come primarily for the Boars Head cold cuts. There’s also a café area! The meats are always great, very fresh. They also have prepared foods over by the deli, which are pretty okay too. It’s very similar to the Wegmans«make your own $ 5 meal» area, except it’s typically more than $ 5. They also bake their bread 5 times daily, so there’s a good chance when you get some it’s only a few minutes — an hour old. Also, next to the deli is a cooler section with some fancier meats and cheeses that you’d use for charcuterie plates. They have some good ones! Their bakery selection of items have, sadly, always left me disappointed. The italian cookies are a little stale tasting from time to time, and the cannoli I bought was soggy :( There is a sub station in the café area, and the subs look REALLY good. I’ll have to try one soon and report back. The pricing is very good — cold cuts are cheaper(and better quality) than what you find at other grocery chains. The desserts(if you’re buying them!) are also cheaper than neighboring places. The staff is always very friendly and helpful!

I thought I hated cannoli, until I had them from Leo’s. Every birthday, anniversary or family get together must feature them now. Just recently I had to try every cannoli they had, and I still don’t know if I can pick a favorite. The rest of the store is wonderful too, there’s so many great items that are perfect for hostess gifts or just to treat yourself!

A few years ago my grandma told me about Leos. This lead me to always coming to leos. I have tried about every treat in the bakery display that they have. Thus I am a huge fan. Leos has a lot of different pastries at a very reasonable price. My all time favorite are the oreo truffles and the red velvet cupcake. Id suggest trying a pie and cheesecake from there at least once. There Italian cookie tray assortment is phenomenal. They always have a lot of good deals and coupons for the desserts which is nice. Leos also has a very nice selection of Italian meats. I love the boars head that they sell. At one point I came here so much the worker new me by my name. Everything tastes amazing and the prices are so cheap.

I came here a little while back for desserts. My husband and I had never been here and had no idea we were in for such a treat. We wanted dessert so we thought this would be a great place to try and it certainly was. On our first trip my husband got a cupcake and I got a chocolate truffle with raspberry buttercream frosting. We also got assorted Italian cookies and sausage bread. Our desserts were amazing. They were so rich and flavorful we had no problem eating every last morsel. The sausage bread was our only disappointment. All of the ingredients tasted great but I just wished there was more sausage in the bread. Even though we knew there wasn’t a lot of sausage in the bread, we would like to buy the pepperoni bread and see if that is the same way. On our second trip we decided to get lunch and dessert. I got a meatball sub and my husband got the Italian sausage sub. My niece and sister were also there and my sister had a sub made for her and my niece got grilled cheese. All of our meals came with a cookie and we pick M&M cookies and sprinkle cookies. My sub was really good, I have had better meatballs but they were still pretty good. My husband absolutely loved his sausage and keeps asking if we can go back and buy more, my sister said her sub was the best she has had made in a while and my niece ate just about all of her grilled cheese and I ate some of the rest. Every one was super happy with their meals and we will go back. It is perfect for lunch. Besides the cookies we got with our meals I also got a half moon and my husband got a cupcake. I feel like I don’t have to keep repeating myself because obviously that were awesome. Moist, flavorful, rich and just simply amazing. We have always had great service from all of the staff as well as great food. We will continue to come here for desserts and simple lunches. We want to keep trying more things!
