WOW! EVERYTHING was amazing! We had the opportunity to talk to Freddie, he is a great down to earth guy and is the one that makes it all. He slices the bacon himself. His server was very pompt, friendly and had great suggestions! We will be back!

Truly awesome spot. Local, fresh, delicious.
We came here after visiting the Pittsfield Farmers Market and if is clear that the local food movement hit this small, hole-​in-​the-​wall restaurant.
Every item is made to order from amazing ingredients. I had the pot roast sandwich with cole slaw and banana peppers. The pot roast is clearly home made from to quality meat. (Freddie says he buys the meat from Mazzeo and needs to make a roast every 2 days.) It was tender and delicious.
My wife had the turkey club on Pittsfield Rye farmers bread. The turkey was carved off of a real turkey. Yum.
The only down side is that the place is really really small. We got a table, but it is clearly a risk that they will get full. Yum. Yum.

I was passing through Pittsfield and a big ‘Open’ flag caught my attention. This place has only been open since 2014 and I hope they keep going. The place is clean, simple, and friendly.
My burger was the most satisfying I’ve had in a while. It was simple, down-​home style, and that’s what made it.
Take the time to peruse their menu and specials. There’s nothing too fancy here, but it all looks solid, from hot dogs to Philly cheesesteak or a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato that i would get if I could eat it. Specials included a pot roast sandwich and teriyaki steak tips. Looks like you can also get the milkshakes and malts and floats that make this the Olde Fashioned Soda Shoppe in their name.

The ice cream is creamy and local. The sodas are old fashioned, and do not contain corn syrup. The staff is really friendly and generous. My wife had a sauerkraut dog that was tasty. The environment was comfortable. We were really excited to find this place after searching for real ice cream in Pittsfield.

Great food and great service; I keep going back and bringing friends! The owner and his wife are always there and super attentive. The food is all made-​from-​scratch and locally sourced. It’s a small place and it takes a few minutes to get your order; again, everything is made-​from-​scratch, nothing is sitting order a heat lamp. If you’re in a huge rush call ahead for your order, there’s only the two of them. Try the specials as they’re usually Freddie’s own creations. The soda selection cannot be beat; no Pepsi here! They have crafted bottled sodas with no corn syrup. The orange cream is delicious!
