Fabulously surprised! I stayed here in the off season so i had a great price for one bed suite. It has one king bed in living room and one queen bed in the separate bedroom. The sink is also located outside the bathroom so it makes for easy prep when multiple people want to get ready. The shower water pressure was also fantastic. What really made it awesome was the working fireplace. we were able to store things in the fridge as well and there was a microwave. The pull out couch was also available but we did not use it. The employees here were all very very nice. I was pleasantly surprised this is a best western!

Nice and clean rooms. Jim was very hospitable and welcoming. Nice to have peace and quiet after a being in New York and Niagara

I recently traveled to Pittsfield for a funeral, and made last minute reservations at the Best Western for myself and my cousin. It was my first time staying somewhere other than a relative’s house, and I couldn’t have asked for an easier visit. I didn’t make it into town until after midnight after working a full day and driving from Washington, DC. Needless to say, I was exhausted and all I wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. Check in was completely stress free, and Jay at the front desk was incredibly sweet and welcoming, informing me of the free breakfast and giving me the option of what floor I’d like to stay on. It was nice to actually be treated with respect and kindness after such a long day. When I came down for breakfast the next morning I wasn’t expecting much. Coffee, maybe some pastries or cereal, but my expectations were exceeded when I found a belgian waffle maker, eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, as well as a selection of pastries and fruits. I ate a better breakfast than I eat at home, and was incredibly satisfied with it. My cousin joined me for the duration of my stay and we were both impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and how comfortable they were. The wifi signal was good and the TV picked up every NCAA basketball game we wanted to see(something incredibly important during March Madness!) as well as every cable channel we could have wanted to watch. Our room had a refrigerator and microwave, and while we didn’t use it for anything other than water, the lobby had a small shop area where people could buy food that was actually enough to make a meal out of if they didn’t want to go out, or wanted to eat something late at night. I checked out at four in the morning the day I left, and was pleasantly surprised when Jay made me a fresh cup of coffee for my drive home, truly going above and beyond anything I expected. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I come up!

We had reserved a two-bedroom suite almost three months in advance of our stay. The hotel has four of these suites, two on the second floor and two on the top floor. At the time we made our reservation, all four suites were available. The person who took our reservation assured us that he had reserved a top-floor suite for us(I am a very light sleeper) and that our request was recorded in our reservation. Nevertheless, when we arrived, only one suite was still available, on the second, not the top floor. The clerk working at the check-in desk in the lobby couldn’t have cared less. Her attitude was basically«Too bad. You want the second-floor suite, or not?». Fortunately, the night manager was altogether more pleasant to deal with. He was very apologetic, although he could not, of course, put us on the top floor. As for the person who took our reservation months earlier, we were told that he no longer worked there. Does anyone who screws up a reservation at a hotel ever still work there when you discover the problem? Our suite was spacious, but not as well designed as it could have been. The person in the second bedroom had to walk through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom. Also, the sink was located in the main bedroom, not in the bathroom. I don’t know why hotels think that this is a better arrangement. It isn’t. As for noise, this was a typical Best Western with thin walls. Our suite was at the end of the hallway, so we adjoined only one other room. Still, we could hear the people in that room as well as some noise from overhead. All this was tolerable, though. A complimentary hot breakfast is served, and I must say it is pretty good. The OJ wasn’t watered down, as it is at so many other motels. The scrambled eggs were nice and moist. The bacon and sausage were cooked well. There were also bagels and fruit. We appreciated not having to stop somewhere else for breakfast after we checked out. Would we stay here again if we were in the area? Yes, but I would ask the hotel to e-mail me a copy of the reservation as soon as I made it. I would also call ahead on the morning before our arrival to confirm that the room promised to us was the one we were going to get.

Just stayed for 1 night. Front desk staff was friendly. The breakfast was standard for a free breakfast. The room was okay. It could have been cleaner. The welcome sheet they put on the bed was not clean and the dresser the tv was on was not wiped down. I did like the idea of the clean remote but it was sticky(meaning it was not cleaned either) the sheets seemed pretty clean. Overall for this area this prob the best hotel to stay in.

We stay here when skiing at Jiminy Peak. Clean and convenient, fulfilling our needs for a night or two. Only option for a family is two double beds. Would prefer queen sized beds. We had trouble adjusting the temperature in our room. In the middle of the night my DH and I were fiddling with the thermostat and when we could not adjust the temp down we turned it off! Breakfast room is small but we are always there on busy mornings. The coffee is terrible, but they have cold cereal, hot eggs and sausage, and fresh made waffles. My husband would rate this two stars, but for the area I think it is a three.
