They have a great clearance selection up stairs. We got a sofa and loveseat for a little over $ 1000 and the original price was about $ 3000. Ask for Justin he was our sale person and was a pleasure to do business with. He was very helpful, honest and laid back he doesn’t push a sale on you like most sales people do. Which means you walk out with what you want and our happy with your purchase for many years! He has a great approach and I will always ask for him when I go back to buy other pieces for our house!

This place has become a trash-magnet DUMP. When it was Marshall Field’s furniture it was nice stuff, with impeccable service and flawless attention to customer satisfaction. Under Macy’s it has degenerated to something between Juan’s Westside Furniture Recyclery and the local Ashley Furniture — leaning toward Juan’s. We wanted to buy a console table. We were met near the door by a passing salesman who quickly told us they have ZERO console or sofa tables, saying something about it being a different store than that or something(??). I was shocked, this is a HUGE place and to have no sofa tables? Not one? OK, I said, incredulously. He then proceeded to refer us to HOMEGOODS. HomeGoods? Really? Did you just tell us to go to a friggin gadget store, when we told you we’re looking for a nice high quality sofa table? Talk about missing the message. Just to satisfy our curiosity we looked around, and he was right — NOTONECONSOLEORSOFATABLE. When this place was Fields it was a 9+. We bought high end furniture, lamps, etc. of the best quality. Now that it is Macy’s I would rate this place less than 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. The entire 2nd floor is chip and dent garbage. And they have some things up there that should be scrapped. Dining room tables with big chunks taken out of them, broken chairs, recliners with huge rips, etc etc. I can’t believe the doors remain open. It’s the worst furniture store in the area. End it with a shred of dignity. Lock the doors and sell to a developer. Or maybe a decent furniture store. Someone who knows the difference between pressboard crap you screw together from Ikea and the kind of quality that lats, makes an impression, and you pass down through generations.

My husband and I experienced horrible service at Macy’s Furniture Gallery. We went to the store in November 2013. We selected a beautiful leather sofa which was inclusive of 3 pieces. My husband and I made a change to have the chaise portion of the sofa be right-facing instead of left-facing, which we originally ordered. We called 1 day after ordering the original set. The salesperson stated that he could make the change. He did say that we would have to wait longer for it. We told him that that would be acceptable. We were confident that the change would happen as we requested and the salesperson assured. We were called a few weeks later and told our order was in. Imagine our surprise because the salesperson had told us we would have to wait to receive the right-facing chaise. When the piece came we had everything except the chaise. We accepted the partial delivery in anticipation of the other piece coming shortly. We called to find out when we would receive it. We found out that the piece was never ordered, and they didn’t know when they would receive the chaise, but assured us they would do their best to find one. Fast forward to February… no chaise, no communication, but bills, in fact we were over billed. My husband spent two hours on the phone trying to straighten out that fiasco. We asked for a discount for our time and total incompetence on their part. The manager agreed to give us 20% off. The manager said she had called everywhere and just couldn’t find the piece. We agreed to take the left-facing chaise to complete the set. They said it was in stock and gave us a delivery date. It finally came in Early March, wrong again! At this point, we are irate and contemplating demanding they come pick everything up. We finally received the piece yesterday, 5 months after ordering it. Horrible customer service! Too many deliveries, but the delivery men were outstanding. Never again. I would never purchase anything from this incompetent operation.
