Great find! Excellent French gel manicure at a lower than expected price. Friendly staff made me feel welcome. Definitely earned my repeat business.

My nails look nice but worst manicure experience ever. Was ridiculed that my nails were too thin to have a shellac manicure. I explained that it’s fine and I normally just get three coats. She went on to tell the other ladies working there, in another language, and they all had a great laugh at my expense. Another lady came over to inspect my nails as they discussed it, in a hasty tone. Isn’t having thin nails one reason why a person would want a shellac manicure? The attitude given by the person doing my nails after that was truly terrible and the whole situation was just embarrassing. My nails look pretty good, but the experience really has me thinking that maybe I should file a complaint at the cosmetology board. I paid $ 30 to be humiliated in public? Customers should never be treated like that, ever, especially when they have no control over the thickness of their own nails. First world problems, right?

I got two services(pedicure and shellac mani) and will rate them separately since two different people did them and I had two very different outcomes. My manicure was great. The woman doing it was very sure to do each coat completely and neatly which is so important for the shellac to last the full two weeks. My pedicure. Oh boy. The man doing it cut my nails very short. Warning sign since you never cut toes short. But things were okay when I was moved over to the mani station. A week later I had a raging ingrown nail on my toe needing a doctor to cut it out so now I am recovering from that(plus having to pay for the podiatrist who lectured me on nail cutting as if I did it to myself). I’d give it one star since I have so much pain but the manicurist really did do a nice job and if I weren’t so upset about my toe I’d see her again but obviously I will never go back there again.

This is your typical nail salon; inexpensive, quick and friendly service, privately owned, but it has a somewhat modern feel to it, relaxing. I came here with a friend, her first time and very happy one. Her husband bought her gift certificates, apparently she raved about it. Next stop: this weekend, with my mom. Hopefully she’ll have a good time too.

This salon is attractive but the technicians are not very good. They are rude and ignore you. Seems like a high turnover of staff. They also talk in their native language about customers in front of them, thinking they wont understand. I know some basic Vietnamese. They don’t care what you want, they are silent when doing your nails and very indifferent. The ones who did my nails didnt seem like they enjoyed their job. High staff turnover. It’s funny that the 2 reviewers who gave good feedback were from New Mexico and Washington. They reviewed the wrong place!!! This is pittsburgh

I am still going there regularly at least every 2 weeks. If you have any issues or concerns do not hesitate to talk to the owner, Peter, or his wife. They really do care.
