I live very close to Dr. Child’s dental office, so I decided to schedule an appointment with him for x-rays, an exam, and cleaning. I showed up for my appointment a bit early and did not see any receptionist near the waiting room. A while later, I walked over to the receptionist’s window and looked to the very far right of the office. There was the receptionist! She should probably be on the lookout for when people arrive for their appointments. I waved at her to get her attention, and she gave me my paperwork to fill out. I could hear the dentist talking in his office with another patient. My appointment did not start until maybe 40 minutes later. The dental assistant/x-ray technician was friendly and took my x-rays. Then Dr. Childs came in and cleaned my teeth. My teeth definitely looked and felt cleaner afterward. He talked to me about getting Invisalign, but I already had braces in the past. When I explained my past expensive and so-so orthodontist results to Dr. Childs, he understood and did not pressure me anymore. Dr. Childs had a very perky personality and enjoyed chatting with patients.
