AT&T

This is where my wireless comes from and I try to visit when I have a need. Please keep in mind all AT and T stores are the same. They offer free WiFi. Sales associates vary. When I first arrived I told the sales clerk I may need a new tablet and he gave me his recommendations. I asked more specifically if there was a «VIP» launch coming out in Sept for Apple products. He replied «yes» but couldn’t tell me what it was.
I went to the Apple store to have my tablet serviced and was glad I didn’t need to replace it at this time. They advised me that they would allow me a minimal trade in for my device if I did wish to upgrade.
I returned to this store following that repair and found a very helpful saleslady who gave me some good advice. Currently they are running a free promo that if you have a family share data plan of 10 G per month they will upgrade you for free to 15 G and no additional cost.
I asked if they offered trade ins. She said yes but it depends what product is being released. I learned from her that on Sept 9 Apple is going to make an announcement that they will be unveiling the IPhone 6S and the 6S plus sometime soon. She had no details about the new products or pricing but advised me to wait and see. For my current phone if I choose to upgrade I would get a $ 50.00 discount but nothing if I wanted to upgrade my tablet. The tablet however, if purchased as an AT and T model would fall under the data plan noted above. Time will tell if I will upgrade at this time but I was grateful that they weren’t as busy and chances are it would be simpler to work with my own carrier.
