This company was a life saver. I woke up on a Friday morning to discover a large pump under my fish tank had leaked about 100 gal of water out of the tank into my house. My carpet was sitting in water. The water had traveled to four rooms, one all the way to the outside wall. I phoned several companies as I needed immediate help. They all asked for too much information with no promise to even show up. I called this company because of their high ratings. I talked with an actual service guy who showed up in about an hour with equipment and 2 other men. They had the water sucked-up, the bottom trim removed, holes drilled near the floor and heaters, fans and evaporators going within 2 hours!!! They sealed off the the rest of the house with plastic that included walk through zippers. They left by dinner time and all I had to give them was a small deposit. It took my insurance company 3DAYS to get back to me by phone!!! By then 24 Hour Restoration had come back removed the equipment, repaired all the walls, reinstalled the carpet, cleaned the carpet, put in new trim, painted the trim and I could not tell I had ever had a disaster in my home. The only cost to me was the deductible amount my insurance didn’t pay. The men were wonderful. Polite, kind and very reassuring. The office staff is top notch. I would recommend this company over any water damage service company within a 50 mile radius of Oakley, CA. I called all of them and honestly they did not care about my emergency. I found all the other companies asked too many personal questions up front with no guarantee of any service. Sure I answered those questions for 24 Hr. Restoration, but that was after they had arrived and the men were already getting the water out-of my home. I had NOMOLD problems thanks to the quick service. I’m currently an employee at The Restoration CleanUp Co. This comes from an insured that we performed mitigation for. He granted us permission to submit what he had to say about our company via email: Bernadetta Felli, I’m writing in regard to our restoration clean up. On the evening of 1÷14÷2015 we noticed that our kitchen floor was distorted and looking swollen. The following day 1÷15÷2015 we called Mercury Insurance to report the damage. Within 24 hours, … insurance arrived at our home on 1÷16÷2015 to investigate the damage. In less than two hours later, Antonio Magana arrived with equipment to start the drying process. Following Antonio’s appointment on Friday, Armando and Clayton arrived on Monday 1÷19÷2015 and remove the damaged hardwood floor in two separate rooms. Both Armando and Clayton were extremely professional and kept our home clean and free of slippery saw dust during the entire process. On the morning of 1÷21÷2015, Antonio and Cedric arrived to evaluate mold damage between the kitchen cabinets and the exterior wall. Sheetrock was removed and bagged, so the drying process could continue. Cedric has excellent interpersonal skills, and was very pleasant to deal with. This morning 1÷22÷2015, Antonio returned to remove the drying equipment from our home, so we can continue the construction process. Bernadetta, I wanted to share this message with you for a couple of reasons. The first is to recognize professionalism and credit your employees for an outstanding job in our home. It’s not a daily occurrence that a home owner deals with a company that is well organized and on time as scheduled. I’m not certain how the chain of command works it’s way back to the employees, but if there is a path to relay this message to those that did such a great job, I would like to request that their professionalism is recognized. A few months back I had a nasty mold buildup in my garage and learned that it could potentially become toxic and airborne, what made it even more serious was the fact that I currently had a tenant living there with a newborn. So I started looking around for remediation companies and gave Gus from Restoration Cleanup a call. From the start Gus was extremely friendly, I had a lot of questions since this was the first time I had a mold issue and we had to be careful it wouldn’t spread or go airborne because of the newborn. Gus was very understanding and took his time to explain everything of not only what exactly is happening and what caused it, but also the best approach to ensure a safe environment for the tenant. Surprisingly no other company was willing to do this. In fact most of the ones I called seemed very impatient and even stopped replying to my emails and voicemails after I started asking for more details about the process of the cleanup. The staff at Restoration Cleanup was the exact opposite, they were even willing to personally reach out to the tenants and address their concerns about the safety of the procedure for them and their newborn. The customer service was truly exemplary, I’m very glad I called Gus and chose Restoration Cleanup. I’ll be recommending them highly for any of their services
