We had a great waitress and the food was good. We were well taken care of, with our coffee never getting below half. There was a loud, grumpy set of elderly guests complaining near our table that brought down the atmosphere, I hope for the wait staff that they aren’t regulars.

This place is the best! We have never had a bad choice! Everyone is friendly and happy. Better on the weekdays if you don’t like crowds!

Not what it use to be. Food cold, scamble eggs cold and hard, chicken fingers over cooked and dried out. Dont think we will be going back.

I like this place. Clean and unique décor. The staff was friendly and provided great service despite being extremely busy. The food was great. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich which was the special. It’s was delicious. Their menu is huge. I can’t wait to return to try more options. My kids loved it too. Prices are fairly reasonable. Kids meal includes drinks. Great coffee.

Loved the food I ate it all. our waitress was Angel and she was super sweet and even explained how I could order a half waffle(didn’t even know that was possible) with my bacon and eggs for only a $ 1 more! And still get my blueberry muffin I was craving.(we don’t get down here much and live out of town) so I just wanted to eat it all. Lol love the atmosphere and friendly people on a holiday no less! My only complaint and it’s a slight one is the food was not pipping hot when we got it. But I was still delicious!!! Over all we were happy and can’t wait to go back!

Ordered the French Toast Sandwich and it was so good. Celina was our server and she is incredible. Always had coffee and she checked with us over three times.

Great canon and creole breakfast! The swamp skillet was wonderfully flavorful and was enough food for two! The Mardi Gras quiche was terrific and the crust was light and flaky. I got the red potatoes not realizing they were also in the quiche but they were great. And for dessert? Mardi Gras Beignets! Wow. We will be back for the jambalaya and creole for lunch.

Large portions. Decent food. No WOW factor. Perhaps some granola or whole grain or huckleberry pancakes?! Prices good. Staff SUPER friendly. LOVE them. I got the eggs benedict with turkey sausage, spinach, tomatoes and asked for the hollandaise on the side. Good. Just not OMG spectacular. Bottom line: Decent food at a decent price served by a spectacular staff. The place was packed.

Found a fly in my orange juice, ran out of 2 items we wanted, and took over an hour to get our food while everyone around us who came after us got their food. Will not come here again, very unorganized and dirty. If I could I’ve give them no stars

I’ve been coming to this place since they first opened. The food is good. Although, I have my favourites, Bananas Foster, biscuits and gravy, huckleberry lemonade, and of course, chicken fried steak. My daughter loves the Monte Christo sandwich. The best part of Huckleberrys is their staff. Thank you Tonya for the extraordinary customer service.

Breakfast and lunch place. Really nice place decorated Louisiana bayou style. I had the crab cake Benedict. Very good. They have many traditional Louisiana dishes. Poboy and jambalaya. ALSO Steak was delicious good serving size with hash browns or red country potatoes and bread or muffin. Their menus are like a newspaper super cool. Strawberry lemonade was very good. Also french toast amazing. Try it out.

Yes, it’s a chain, yes it’s a Lil cheesy inside. but ya know what? I like it that way. We could all use a Lil more cheese in our lives. I happen to like themed restaurants. they give me a momentary escape to someplace else. Betty was my server, she was very kind and on top of things. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with hash browns and bacon. My total was $ 7.87 out the door. Here are the two reasons I just couldn’t go 5 stars… I the bottom of my hash browns were burnt which meant they were burnt tasting. I’m on my way to work so didn’t have time to wait for a second try. The second thing was the ginormous chip missing from my plate. There was a good 2 inch chip missing from the rim of my plate. These are quality control issues that stem from the bank k of the house. They need to step up to the game the wait staff have set. On the whole, I will be back. :)

Basic with a flair is the nicest thing that I can say. Service was decent. Atmosphere was decent. Lots of processed and artificial food. My steak was over cooked. Poached eggs were not drained properly, very watery. The potatoes were good. The bacon was good. The biscuits were weird, basically dinner rolls. I won’t come back.

Butter crisp waffle and omlete with avocado, spinach and mushrooms. Very personable, friendly staff. The young lady that seated us was so gracious. She also offered to take our picture. Our food was good the omlete was delicious and the waffle was perfect. The potatoes were warm. The reason for a 4 v/s a 5 was primarily the coffee and water. They both were so awful tasting I could not drink them. The water in Pismo tastes awful. We are visiting. We come here 2 or 3 times a year. I usually don’t complain but this was too awful. The waitress was very respectful and told me that this has been a problem for the past 2 months and other customers have complained. I encourage everyone to speak up and use Unilocal. It does make a differece. She took the coffee off my bill. She knew I was using Unilocal

The place was clean, service could be better(disconnect between wait staff and bus boy). The food is ok. The only thing I liked on my plate was the hashbrown. They were not greasy but nice and crunchy. My crêpe was not a crêpe, it was a thin pancake filled with food service cream(meaning it was not homemade) and the Huckleberry fruit toppings(which cost $ 2.50 extra) was serviced cold and it tasted more like blueberry. The chicken fried steak was well seasoned and served warm. My husband ordered the Bubba Breakfast plate with the country red Cajun style(addtl cost). The potatoes were boiled then tossed in the skillet. This process makes the potatoes soft and mushy. Bacon was greasy. He also had a side if biscuit and gravy. The biscuit was huge but it lacks the quality of a flaky biscuit. The gravy was ok. Negative: We got our bill early, that is one since it is a diner setting. We walked our bill to the front register since no one come by to grab our payment. The young girl taking down names was not allow to take my payment and made me wait for my waitress. This is an inefficient process and annoying. I was ready to leave but had to wait. Mind you the hostess just stop there.

It’s a chain breakfast spot. Though that’s not a knock. I guess it’s big in on the East side of Cali. So it makes sense when people come to visit that they would stop at a place like this they are familiar with. That being said as a local it was busy for sure. But the food was quick and the device friendly. I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and potatoes. The potatoes were not very hot and everything was really bland. Lots of hot sauce and ketchup needed. My eggs were cooked perfect over medium. He gravy was good but not hot. The biscuits were a yellow dough base which was good but too dry. Again. Service was prompt and friendly and everyone enjoyed their food. It’s good for groups and people who are not super picky about what they like for breakfast. The food was all a bit too homogenized for me but it was decent. Is go again if invited with friends but it wouldn’t be a place is suggest as a first choice.

Eating at new places is one of the best things to do when taking a mini trip and this place did not disappoint. The service was prompt and friendly, and the facilities were clean(including the bathrooms). The décor was also really cute with its country home feel. Because I absolutely love breakfast food and I could eat it all day, I took one look at the omelette’s and decided to share one with a friend. We opted to do the«Create your own 2-egg omelette for $ 8.99 where you pick 3 ingredients. We chose Spinach, Tomatoes, Bacon, and Avocado. It comes topped with Cheddar and Jack Cheese and we also chose country potatoes as a side. This was delicious– no need for extra salt here. Just some good old hot sauce because I love my extra spice. Since I also have an insatiable sweet tooth, we also shared a Bananas Foster French Toast plate. With its pecans, freshly sliced bananas, and its own flambé sauce, it was probably the best Bananas Foster French toast I’d ever tasted. We shared this with our entire table and the whole plate was wiped clean. Between the 5 of us, the bill came out to around $ 50 which was super reasonable.

One of the best breakfest places in the five cities. I love their huckleberry muffins and their cajun flare. The atmosphere is great and service pretty quick. On weekends this place is a zoo so for a local like me I waot until mondays to eat here otherwise you wait sometimes an hour to get a table

Huckleberry’s is our no fail good food restaurant in Pismo Beach. They must do something right because every time we go it’s always packed! Chicken fried steak was perfect. The service was decent seeing as to how busy they were. No one at the table left hungry. This restaurant has very good prices! Overall 4 stars. Would have been 5 stars but the drink refills never happened. Good thing we all ordered water with the rest of our drinks! Will return over and over again!
