Went by again for lunch. I watched the owner again. No,“Hi, how you doing”. Thanks, come again,. .. No smiles. He must hate being here. Nothing but collecting the money. He doesn’t wear a name tag so he probably doesn’t want anyone to say hi. Too bad he doesn’t reply to all the Unilocal reviews. :-(( .

So this review had to be done! Came in today to buy two sandwiches and the girl who prepared my sandwiches had very poor hygiene. Her uniform was FILTHY, I MEANFILTHY! Her other co-workers’ uniforms were clean. I watched her make my sandwich with soo much mayonnaise in it. When she noticed it was a bit much. SHETHENWIPEDTHEKNIFEONHERFILTHYUNIFORM and proceeded to use it to slice our sandwiches in half. She also coughed on our food and did not turn away or cover her mouth. When I got home I unwrapped my sandwich to see see all the excess mayonnaise oozing out. Had to wipe it out and only ate ½. Feeling VERYDISGUSTED! I will not come back to this location. The EMERYVILLE one is way better, and better service. Too bad this is my local TOGOS.

Togo’s is a place I frequent quite a bit. Most of my loyalty to this brand is from my youth. I would hit our local togos about once per week and my friends hated me for my redundancy. The one in Pinole brings back many of those memories. My two go to sandwiches have not changed for 20 years. A hot 7 or 9 are my go to choices. The pastrami and roast beef have great flavor. The choices of bread are nice and I usually go for the parmesan bread. It is usually fairly fresh, produce is fresh and I always get a nice crunch from the peppers.. The sandwich makers are fairly, quick, polite and do great with my order. While I cant say these are my favorite sandwiches in the world, I do keep going back for good service and because, bottom line, they hit the spot

Love this place. Sandwiches are always good and the people that work there always say hi to me as soon as I walk in. I really feel they appreciate my business. Been going there for many many years will continue

Went down to this place to get a couple of sandwiches for my friends and I and the guy who helped us was extremely rude. The sandwiches were not good at all. Not going to this place again. They need to improve their customer service.

I just love Togo’s sandwiches. The main thing I like about this location is the staff, they are just the nicest group of ladies ever. They are always pleasant whenever I go in to in to pick up my order(I mostly call my orders in by phone). It’s not fancy, but if you want a real good sandwich or salad, then stop by.

Went here today and had the worse experience. The guy chris who was making my sandwich was sucking up snot. When i asked him if he was sick he got mad and then the snot rolled out of his nose. This nasty bastard should not be working around food. I damn near threw up. I told him to keep that sandwich. I called corporate on him. I will never ever go here again in life.

I generally really like Togos, especially the Avocado and Turkey sandwich! I love the generous portions of avocado. However, my only issue is that the sandwich makers never seem to put enough produce on the sandwiches. I have to specifically request that all produce be spread out across the sandwich. For this reason, I give them 3 stars.

This is one of the few places to eat in the plaza… that or Panera Bread. For a sandwich chain, it’s not exactly the cheapest… and the sandwiches aren’t as loaded as they used to be. But it’s definitely tastier than Subway. Try the Reuben or Pastrami if you like salted meats. it’s personally one of my favs.

Georgie M’s of Scottsdale wrote a review of Togo’s. It reminded me that I had enjoyed their sandwiches, but it had been years since I had one. His description of the pastrami made me want to find a location near me. Lo and behold there is one close-by. I guess I should not have been surprised Togo’s headquarters is still in San Jose. The sandwiches are offered in 3 sizes: mini, small and large. They might also have party sandwiches. I ordered a mini pastrami. The meat was tasty and bread was good. The mini is served on a bun, there was a lot of bread and not a lot of meat. I do think when I go back I will have a small, Ordering any size other than mini you do get a choice off four different rolls and there would be more meat too. I only wish they had rye bread.

This store provides healthy and yummy happiness. 90% of the employees are fun and love to visit as they prep your selection. Their portions are LARGE, fresh and made to order. A lot of low cal alternatives there also. Store is always clean along with the outside eating area. Give em a try. it shouldn’t disappoint!

Togos is my favorite sandwich place in this area. The sandwiches are great, the people behind the counter are nice & efficient. Occasionally I get a tomato end in my sandwich though, but not nearly as much as subway. This is something that drives me crazy, does anyone like eating the stem end of a tomato? Throw those pieces away!

They still have the No. 9 — pastrami sandwich. I haven’t one of these in many years so I had the urge to indulge. It was like I remembered which was good but I’ve been to many«real» delis and they are so much better. This is like the fast food of sandwiches. Okay but not the best quality or flavors.

I am a semi regular at this TOGO’s I have got to say that the service is nice. Sandwiches are always amazing and there Yukon Gold Potato soup is my fave!!! Only complaint is when my husband and I walked up to TOGOs the person who made our sandwiches was outside smoking which was a turn off… Thank god she washed her hands :)

I have been here a couple times and I haven’t had a problem with the service. I did have a funny talk with the manager, though, because apparently he didn’t know about the Unilocal check-in offer for a free drink. He blamed it on the upper management doing things without telling them or something, haha. The food is ok. It’s not something I would go out of my way to go for, but if I’m in the mood for a sandwich, I might as well stop by. The Viva Veggie wrap is pretty skimpy and flat, in my opinion. They charge extra for more cheese, but apparently not for extra pepperonis? Then again don’t quote me on that, since that is what my boyfriend told me. Overall, it’s just an ok place. Nothing much to write about.
