Stein Mart

I liked this Stein Mart. Always had a great selection of clothing and décor. Always clean as well.

I am a former Stein Mart Manager. I just moved here to Charlotte. I called this location on Tuesday, Sept 2^nd. Spoke to the receiving manager about picking up a few extra boxes they didn’t want… she said to call tomorrow at 10am then come by the next day to get them. She was super helpfulI… NOTE: If you call ahead Stein Mart will save boxes for customers. On Wednesday Sept 3^rd I called at 9:58am, a woman named Hannah answered the phone and said «the receiving manager is not in right now call back in 10−15mins, we are closed»… Ok whatever… I called back at 10am instead. «can I please be transferred to receiving»… Some rude nasty woman answers the phone! I’m very confident she was a manager on duty.
Any-​who, she was so nasty on the phone I decided to not go get the boxes… I DO NOT CARE who SHITTED Into your Corn flakes! You do not answer the phone in that manner! Next time your country ass needs to stay home from work. She should be lucky I wasn’t her supervisor!

There are two Stein Marts by my house. This one has the best stuff.
I came here the other day seeking some throw pillows for my new Christmas bedding. (Yes, it’s nov 25^th and I have Christmas bedding on my bed!). The employees here are always friendly and the sales are usually great. I love the colors in their bedding section, and want to buy all of them. You just have to look carefully at some of the red dot clearance, some items are great mark downs and others are broken returns.
The traffic can be a little annoying to get through for this shop, but I always find something worth my short trek. The cashiers are helpful with the handful of coupons that I bring with me too!
