First time ever that I eat Vietnamese food. Thai tea: 5 stars Coffee milk tea: 5 stars Cold tea: 5 stars Almond panna cotta: 5 stars Bun Grilled Pork: 5 stars Egg rolls: 5 stars I have had Thai teas before but nothing like this. The sweetness is not overpowering. Very delicious. Coffee milk tea was a first and very delicious too. The coffee taste was well balanced. Cold tea is very refreshing. Bun grilled pork is amazing! Pork, lettuce(two kinds), carrots, cucumber, pork, almonds, rice noodles and fish sauce. Every bite made my taste buds explode with happiness. The fish sauce is very good(I am not a sea food guy at all) and it gave that extra mile to the dish. You need to mix all ingredients to get the mix going. Every bite was exhilarating! Almond panna cotta was great. It had pumarosa(rose apples) which I love. The dish had an unexpected sweet after taste. The combinations of textures between the fruit and panna cotta was great! Egg rolls were very good. I was expecting the typical Chinese restaurant style but I was wrong. It had more meat that vegetables and it still felt light. The dipping sauce was also the fish sauce. Great price and great portions of food. My only complain will be the size of teas were on the medium-small size.

I am so in love with their menu! If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese with a wide range other than the typical phở, rice and noodles this place has it. They have all types of «drinking» food from razor clams, escargot, every fried goodness to even Balut. It’s not fancy here, but more of a typical Vietnamese café that’s owned by a ma and pa and their children. So service is on the more blah side. They will treat Vietnamese speaker better… As I was a witness. I didn’t show any indication I knew Vietnamese, but the table after us received their food before us. They even joked around with the server how they ran their food first before my table even though I was there way before. Hmm… Anyways… Yeah… I understood every word… Anyways the food was pretty good! We ordered the spring rolls, broken rice combination and the grilled pork and egg roll bun(noodles). Very hardy portions! The spring rolls were delicious and exactly how I make them at home. They were stuffed and love the sauce! It appears that they do not use peanuts here, but instead friend onions. Delicious either way. My bun was seriously enough to feed three. I gave my BF some noodles and ended up taking some home. There’s a lot! Overall I really did enjoy the food and would come back to try all the other items off their menu. They even have chicken feet, rice porridge, and so much more. The service is really meh, but they are nice kids. Def coming back to try out and see how their phở is as well as the«drinking» foods.

I am no expert on Vietnamese cuisine but this was just excellent. The service was friendly and the phở was just amazing. I can’t believe the flavors of the broth. Highly recommended.

Occasion: Came here on a vacation to St. Pete and just Unilocaled around until I found a Viet place. Atmosphere: The name says it all. It has the feel of a diner and is located in a non-descript strip of shops. Definition of a hole-in-the-wall joint. Restaurant is not very large, and staff speak mostly Vietnamese and very limited English. Food: Banh canh tom cua was off the chain! Best I’ve had in my life. I was stuffed to the brim and still trying to somehow store some more for later… Since all the other snails were sold out(I’m sure to the huge family that had camped there), I had the hen xuc banh da. WOW good! The little leaves gave it a good flavor, it was well cooked with great texture, and it was seasoned perfectly. The contrast of textures between the peanuts, the crispy, savory onions, the squishy clams, and the banh da was perfect. I would have posted pictures, but several other reviewers have posted the same dishes. The regulars already know! Conclusion: I almost started crying when I tried to come back the next day with my friend and it was closed for the day(it’s closed on Tuesdays). Very upset. That should tell you something about how good the food is. So my biggest complaint is that it’s closed on Tuesdays and I wish that ANY of the oc had been available when I came.

Our agent took us here as she recommended this place. Truly a delicious vietnamese restaurant joint. The razor clams and canh bun were all flavorful. Will stop by when in town.

Like that this place was open til 1030. Didn’t like how they didn’t have boba,& the signs obviously say they do. Also didn’t like my phở too peppery. And the server had a hard time with English, and took a while to get us our check. And the phở was nearly $ 8, overpriced as most phở places. Pretty much, we’ve had better but it did hit the spot and the service decent. A solid 2.7.

It’s a cool little place… I’ve been here for Banh Canh and Phở and I like their phở a lot. Hot broth without MSG. If you order a meat and rice dish they give you plenty of food … I find that most Vietnamese restaurants seemed to skimp on the good stuff. They specialized in seafood according to the menu. and many items I’ve never seen before.

We were so impressed with this restaurant. We were here before, however it was under previous owner. With the new owner, they made authentic vietnamese food which we can’t find at any asian restaurant around Tampa Bay area. We will be back again

Bun cha hanoi was very tasty. A true vietnamese restaurant with fresh green herbs and a variety of unique dishes. Phở was ok. Will come back to try the other dishes.

Love this place! They have some of the best, rare authentic vietnamese food that you can hardly find anywhere else. My friend and I got excited as soon as we glanced at their menu and ordered 2 orders of so quyet, 2 orders of so long, oc, banh canh and bun rieu. We even got their infamous Che khuc bach(sweet soup). All were fantastic! Can’t wait to go back for more, finally a viet restaurant in the area that is a little different from the rest, with a lot more items to offer.

I got the Banh Canh Cua(crab soup) and a vietnamese dessert and it was actually pretty good. However, as my friends and I were eating a fly flew around us and eventually landed in my friend’s food! It was a pretty gross sight and it made me lose my appetite. The food is tasty but beware of roaming flies!

Finally got the chance to try this place out since they changed ownership. Used to love the previous phở here but the new owner did a good job with having a variety of food. The oc Len xao dua(snail in coconut sauce) was yummy! One of the better ones I’ve had compared to Houston and SoCal. Wanted to try their crawfish but they had just ran out since we got there pretty late. Lots of street food you’d typically find in Vietnam.

Located off a little corner from a busy intersection. This little restaurant is definitely a must try. It’s been open for half a year now but because of the location and hard to see sign… one will surely miss it if you’re not a local. The restaurant is clean and very quaint. When you entered, you feel as though you’ve stepped into a foreign country. Decorated with pretty photographs and little Asian decorations, one will surely enjoy the Asian ambience. The food is absolutely delightful! The ingredients are very fresh and the service was great. I ordered the banh canh dac biet which is thick noodles with seafood and land combination. The broth and thickness of the noodles made it very delightful. This type of banh canh is a little different from other banh canh that I’ve tried. I believe it’s more of the Hue style banh canh which consist of thick pasty broth. I also ordered spring rolls and a jackfruit smoothie. The rolls were freshly made to order which is a plus! The jackfruit was made from real jackfruit and not powder which is also a plus! Definitely a must try restaurant if you’re near the area.

I don’t know much about Vietnamese food, and I have never been to Vietnam. So, me writing a review of a Vietnamese restaurant is kind of pointless, so here is goes: The food tasted good. I liked the deep fried potato thing. Prices were decent. What do I know, right?

Tl;dr review: Clean restaurant, good food, would come back again. Decided to give this restaurant a try to change things up a bit. The place is small, 6 – 7 tables total with a decent variety of prepared food and also has food on the menu I have not seen at other Viet restaurants. The dining area is clean, chopsticks and soup spoons are in utensil trays on the tables like you would find at most other Viet restaurants. The wait staff spoke good English, but service was a little on the slow side. It took about 30 minutes for our food to come out, but the waiter communicated to us it was taking longer than usual and apologized for the wait, which we were ok with. I ordered the banh canh cua(crab thick noodle soup), which has been a dish I have not seen anywhere other than Chinatown in Boston. My girlfriend ordered the banh mi bo kho(beef stew with French baguette). Both of our dishes came out really hot and delicious. The bo kho had a stronger than normal taste of star anise, an ingredient, that some may not prefer, but it didn’t bother me. Overall, I would’ve given 5 stars if the service wasn’t so slow, but the food is good and prices are consistent with other Viet restaurants, about $ 10 per person. I will be coming back to try other items on the menu.
