Looking at the other reviews I would almost believe I went to the wrong restaurant! I’ve eaten here multiple times for breakfast and lunch and the food is very consistent. For breakfast I typically get the ackee and saltfish with fried dumplings. It’s delicious every time. I can cook it myself but it’s much easier to get it from here lol. The beef patties are good as well. I haven’t experienced bad service. The staff isn’t «over the top» friendly, but they are polite. I’ll continue eating from here.

Extremely bad experience today. I called to order the lunch special and could barely understand the girl on the phone. And no it wasn’t her accent, she was mumbling. It sounded like she was eating. I said pardon me and she barked back at me «IT’S READY.» How rude, I showed up and the line was out the door. My food wasn’t even ready. I politely declined and took my business elsewhere. Praying this business learns to improve their customer service. The devil is lurking and prosperity is not near.

Their customer service is HORRIBLE. I went here to get the lunch special, which is served at ALL locations,(reggae pasta) and it’s also on their website. The lady at the counter said we don’t have a lunch special and looked at me like I was crazy. So then I showed her the lunch special from my phone from the island quizine website and she still said no we don’t have that lunch special. Mind you the lunch special is a few cents difference. I’m not a cheap person and I’ll pay for the regular price if I had to. I ask to speak with the manager to see if she had some common sense and clearly she didn’t I showed her the lunch special and she rung me up instead for the regular price pasta without asking me. I told the lady I wanted the lunch special instead but she insisted she couldn’t put it in the register which would only been 5% off(another lie because all cash registers you can compute whatever you want or just do basic math, which clearly she couldn’t do). The only thing they told me that were going to do is tell the owner or web designer to change the website which is all LIES and FAIRYTALES) cause it’s clearly still on the website. They didn’t apologize or ask did you want anything instead. With that being said they clearly didn’t want my coins or time. This is my 2nd time dealing with their horrible customer service. Their food is ok(except for the reggae pasta). If you want authentic and good Jamaican food you can go around the corner to Park Heights to one of those hole in the wall places.

The food was okay and I would not consider it True Jamaican Cuisine. Their sides were basic, bland and unworthy of seconds. The jerk chicken wasn’t on the same level as the Jerk Chicken that I had in Jamaica.

I was so excited to have a Caribbean restaurant within walking distance of my house. I order carry out several times a week and I really wanted to add this to the rotation. Unfortunately there’s not much to like about this place. I’ve tried a few standards like curry, jerk and brown stew chicken and I wasn’t impressed. The snapper run down is pretty good. And they do give you free samples on your first visit. That’s about all I have to say about this place that’s good. The food is overpriced and the 2 times I’ve visited it has taken them up to 45 minutes to prepare my food. I drive by this place almost every day and shake my head because I really want to like it but taking into consideration the price, quality and the wait, it’s not worth it.

Small and in the cut on reisterstown road, but effective! They have good Jamaican food, served hot and ready, in plentiful amounts. They don’t skimp on serving you right. I try to stop by after church every Sunday.

Not as easy on the eyes as the Liberty Road location but food is still good. Really authentic.
