Hearthside Cabin Rentals

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! After making reservations several months in advance, we arrived to find the electricity had been disconnected due to non-​payment of the bill. The notice had been hanging on the door, which the front office claimed had not been there earlier in the day when they had cleaned. They would do nothing to relocate us to another place and left our family (with a one year old) stranded for the night! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GROUP!

My family was placed here after our original cabin (with a different company) had bedbugs!

We stayed in the «Amazing View Manor» in Sevierville about 20 min from Downtown Gatlinburg and 10 min from Dollywood.
Amazing View Manor was nothing short of amazing!
The Drive to the cabin was easy, the pool on the grounds was wonderful! We have nothing bad to say about this company or this cabin!!!

We stayed for (3) nights at Bear Elegance and I must say it was the cleanest, nicest cabin I have ever been in. Wish we could have stayed longer. We traveled with an adult daughter, a teenager, and a 14 month old and this cabin had the perfect layout for us all. The downstairs (2) bedrooms with pool table area and tv and couch was perfect for the girls and the upstairs was so comfortable with the leather couches and plenty of room for the toddler to crawl. We loved it and will be back and book this cabin again. Really, as good as it gets!

The cabin was clean and bug free which is definitely a plus, also very accessible from town (too close to the road for my taste, but others may find convenient). Unfortunately more cons than pros: plates almost broken, no mop, no Internet the dial-​up not working at all, lights outside not working either, a very small cheap grill. I mean, for the money they are making from renting especially at this time of the year, they need to improve a lot of things.
Probably not staying here again.

We stayed in «Parkside Palace”— this was no palace.
Where do I start?
Let me list the problems:
1. Upon first entering our cabin and use the bathrooms we find that the toilets are all filthy. They have a «seal» of having been «sanitized» but there is pee stains all over them. One toilet was clogged with a soap in it. The kitchen counters were also dirty. We wiped everything down with Clorox wipes (thank God we brought those).
2. The carpets… Also disgusting. With pee stains on them and probably flea infested since our dogs ended up getting fleas. We had previously visited Pigeon Forge and stayed in a cabin that was pet friendly and incredibly clean, plus NO carpets and our dogs didn’t get fleas that time.
3. There was tons of dust over everything. Likely the place had not seen a duster in years. The frames were dusty and the curtains were all dusty too.
4. Upstairs shower was clogged and water would rise in the shower-​pan so my sisters ended up taking showers in the other two showers downstairs.
5. Not one blanket. We ended up buying blankets because we could not find one in the house.
6. Should I keep listing? I could go on… The couches on the second floor (fabric) also had stains on them and were visibly dirty!
Part of our trip was cleaning and getting rid of fleas. The cabin was a great size, especially for families with kids but I would not recommend due to the unsanitary conditions. We did not feel comfortable and could tell there was not much cleaning done at all.
For all the money we paid and the «cleaning fee» that is charged, you would expect a very clean cabin. Negative. And they leave an envelope for tip to they cleaning staff… THE NERVE!!!

My family and I have used this company many times for cabin rentals whenever we come to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. The service has always been wonderful and the cabins have always been beyond reproach with exquisite views and fun amenities. We fully plan on using this company in the future for our vacation needs. :)

This was my first time in Pigeon Forge, TN. I was completely blown away with our cabin! When we checked in, the staff was so friendly & welcoming. They gave very clear directions to our cabin. Once we arrived at our cabin, I felt totally at home. It felt nothing at all like a rental. We stayed at the Bear Nekkid cabin. Beautifully set up, FULLY stocked with firewood, and just a positively serene atmosphere. The hot tub was a total bonus as it was in the 30s & snowing during our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the fireplace, watching the snow fall & hearing nothing but peace & quiet, while soaking up the breath taking view of the mountains. The price is unbeatable for all that is included. We were only here for 3 nights, but we fully intend to return for a longer trip, to one of their larger cabins with the family & some friends! I just can’t rave enough about this place.

We have stayed with these folks several times this past year. GREAT cabins, quick response to maintenance issues, very reasonable rates for the amenities and views of the Smokey’s.
While they have a large and varied selection of cabins, because of the excellent service, they fill up fast.
