We came here for Sunday brunch and enjoyed our meals immensely. I had the quiche which is made to order and each once made like mini quiche pie in a croissant like crust. Hubby also enjoyed his food. Quality of food is great and at a very affordable price point. The service is barely okay. There were many servers and few patrons, but still hard to find help. I thought it was a bit strange that we were in the back room(with the fake waterfall) which only had about 8 – 9 other tables, but never was there a server in the room. They only entered to take an order or drop off food. Therefore, you had to wait to get any service. I’m a bit torn. I would say the food for the price point is 5 stars and service however is a 2. However, since I don’t want to penalize the great cooks for the front of the house, I am rounding up to a 4 rating.

The outside fools you into mistaking this for a nice place. Once you are walked down the labyrinth of halls and various separate dining rooms as your heels click across cold tile floor you realize you may have mistaken this for a senior center. Our mistake for going on Valentine’s weekend when the room was decorated in the finest of Party City shiny streamers and cardboard cut out hearts. We eventually arrive at the back of a dining room with cheesy love songs piped in from the«50s on 5» Sirius station. We are seated next to a plastered fireplace and a water feature more motor sound than water. We were given a choice of the Winter Menu or the $ 65 «tasting» printed on the most luxurious 16 lb. copy paper and the menu template circa MS Word ’95. We opt to begin with the shrimp cocktail and oysters. Perhaps it was the large mojito served in the Budweiser-branded pint glass; but the first round was surprisingly«okay.» While I counted 12(ish) front of the house people on my journey to the restroom; our server was hard to find. Eventually, he came back to the table to take our entrée order. The menu is strange with everything from seafood to southern cuisine. Timid to try the short ribs with grits at a place on a Pier; I was advised by my gentlemanly server it was«unbeatable and to die for.» I happened to notice the other 2 tables had opted for the«tasting» which included a choice of short ribs. Mr. went with a the«safe» bet of lobster ravioli. For good measure, we each ordered another round of drinks to enhance the taste of our entrees. Soon, my next cocktail arrived in a Bud-Light pint glass. In mid-conversation we noticed the end of the music and caught the end of a lovers quarrel at the table adjacent to us. Awkwardly, we wished for more patrons on a Saturday night at this Senior Center festival of Love. Finally, the main event! Our entrees arrive… Have you ever wanted to try bland dirt with a mouthful of chewy fat topped by what could only have been yesterday’s asparagus pulled from the fridge? No? Then skip the short rib. Salt worked wonders on the lobster ravioli but couldn’t be save to be called anything more than«edible.» Apparently, we weren’t the only ones with seasoning concerns as the dining room soon filled with the sound«SCREEECHSCREEECH» of the pepper grinder going to the other tables. This noise was only made more obnoxious by the echo of the tile floors. I’d recommend a new peppermill. Eventually, our server came to find half eaten food and empty glasses. The cost would have been considered a great price point — maybe even low — at just $ 128(before tip). However, due to the fact we felt like we were at an assisted living community with food to match — it was $ 80 too much. My advice? Skip it.

Very good food and lovely Hudson River-side location create an experience marred only by consistently unfortunate service. Hostess staff are young ladies who i’ve noticed on several different visits often shoot catty glares at female patrons and eye attractive men. Clearly not restaurant professionals, their spotty oversight of tables can really affect flow and wait times. Food is always solid. Brunch or dinner, always a good array of well flavored favorites and interesting dishes. Inside is always empty bc the outdoor deck is where to be. The tiki bar is a bit tacky if going there for an upscale dining experience, but i get it… it was popular when the place was«The Lighthouse» and stayed under the new ownership. Keep up the great food.

I went here with my wife for a Friday date night. The place is really nice inside. High end décor with very friendly service. Had the blue point oysters … yummmm! Very fresh. Next we dove into the nest grilled octopus I’ve ever tasted. REALLYGOOD. Main Course : Chilean Sea Bass– LIKEBUTTER! NY Strip– Spicy peppercorn crust. excellent! Pete Saito the Manager came over to our table just to make sure the meal was just right and made this a memorable night. GREATJOB HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!

We took my Mom here for her 60th Birthday, which was a smashing hit! My family loved the creative menu and nice atmosphere. We had great a great waiter and wonderful food! They easily accommodated 13 people on Saturday evening. The fish, steak, goat, and octopus dishes were cooked wonderfully! Really, everyone was very impressed. We ordered Cheese and Chocolate Fondues which were big hits with the group. Unfortunately, the Women’s bathroom left a lot to be desired. There was urine/water an toilet paper on the floor, as well as missing toilet paper in the stalls. The bathroom was nicely decorated and newly tiled but with an active bar area, an employee should really be checking up on it during the night. We were placed inside rather than outside on the deck, so with a 13 person party and other diners it got a little stuffy and hot. My last negative comment is one of my sides was missing and when you pay 30 bucks for a meal that’s kind of annoying! Overall, they accommodated a large group and served perfectly cooked food. Thumbs up! Pros: Atmosphere, waterfront, & fun menu Cons: Bathroom, price, & portion size on some meals

There are few better local options where you can sit comfortably on the Hudson and enjoy a good drink and nice meal. I made sure to call ahead and make a reservation, although not mandatory, just to be safe. The parking is very limited, but they have a free valet right at the entrance. The outdoor area was about 70%full when we arrived at 3pm labor day. We were immediately seated under the awning so we weren’t baking in the hot sun. Many couples and groups were relaxing and enjoying the day, everyone there was very happy. Our service was satisfactory, nothing special, but we were checked on and he did know the menu well. The burata was nicely prepared on greens with pecans. The seasoning was very bland and light on balsamic. The lobster fettuccine was delicious! Loads of lobster, three shrimp, about one dozen clams, calamari, and a nice homemade aldente fettuccine. The broth was Lucia and well balanced. The blackened cod was also well executed and tasty. The drinks were very well portioned, and cocktails were spot on. I was impressed to see a nice variety on the dessert menu. Three options you don’t see often at all. Peanut butter napoleon was rich and decadent. I really was tempted to try their banana tirimisu or pecan bourbon bread pudding. My son was thoroughly impressed with their chocolate Gelato. The service and execution was fine, some dishes are excellent while others are acceptable. Here you really are paying for the zip code and view, but if you’re ok with that, there are few places in Piermont that rival this experience.

Came on a beautiful hot Sunday during the day. The place was hard to find but did after a U-turn. Upon entering i had to valet(No need, but okay). Sat outside on a high top and overlooked the amazing view of the river with the Tap bridge in the background. That was by far the best part of the place. The menu for«brunch» wasn’t expansive as i was expecting a lot more than what was on it. Service was ehhh, not great or responsive as i hoped. Food was average at best and the price was NOWAY worth what i paid. I don’t ming paying for food, as long as it is worth it and this wasn’t at all. I highly doubt i would come here again as nothing wowed me especially the food. Shame
