I ended up here for lunch because I was subbing for a high school Spec Ed teacher whose class went here for their Friday outing. White walls. Lots of firehouse esque decorations/paintings/photos adorn the walls. They’re in the end unit of the small strip plaza, thus lots of windows let all the sunshine in. The ordering set-up is a bit awkward: once you enter, you have to walk in front of all the tables, to the other end of the room to place your order for here. When we got there, it was having a lunch rush, this it took us five or so minutes just to get to the registers. We ordered, paid, and each student was given a number stand to take back to their seat. Sammies are made to order. On average, I’d say the kids and teachers were getting our sandwich in about 8 minutes. I’d never been to FH before, not even looked at their menu. I was very happy to see their 500 And Under section — all these sammies where under 500 calories. Just right! I chose Mama’s Chicken Salad sub. Lite«sauce» — no heavy mayo taste. No necessarily«sweet», but no pickled/pucker face, either. Comes with lettuce, tomato and lite mayonnaise. The wheat roll bun was very soft and fresh.

Hands down, the best subs in the city. I love this place and they finally have a loyalty program!

One of my favorite places to enjoy a good meal. Excellent food. The pickles are best I have ever had and they will give you an extra no charge. Good family safe atmosphere.

My husband and I love Firehouse Subs in Pickerington, Ohio. Their sandwiches may be more than Subway, but they are so worth it in taste, in the amount of food you get, quality, in everyhing. We take our friends and out of town guests there. The resturant is clean, friendly service, and we are greeted as we walk in. Try #11 it is so good. We would rather go out less and eat here. Yummy.

Been here twice. The service was below average and the food was decent. Maybe a step above Subway but nothing special. I got the pastrami sandwich the first time and the meatball sub the second time. One thing they don’t tell you is that you should order your toppings when you order your sandwich. Having never been there I didn’t know how it worked and the cashier did not ask if I wanted any toppings. The second time I went is when I noticed the turnstile with the toppings listed next to the cashier. The management should probably encourage their employees(who seem a little miserable) that they should ask the customer if they want any additional toppings when they order the sandwich. The place has fun décor. Love the hot sauce options!

I’ve been to this location three times. I would second the notion that the staff needs a briefing in courtesy. I had an issue with my Brisket sub where they forgot to heat the meat before placing it on the sub. I let the girl at the register know about it and she rolled her eyes. I left it at that for the moment. I did fill out their survey and noted in the temperature category that it was unsatisfactory. I was contacted the next day by corporate and the shop manager. They replaced my Sub but forgot to dress it with the sauces and chess that goes in it. I called and got the dreaded cashier again. The manager was gone for the day, Sigh :/. I have chalked firehouse up to a loss and will visit one of the other mediocre chains as they at least let Ya watch so you can get what you order.

Interesting. The sandwiches are a good size. I tried the meatball… which is perhaps the odd option here. Most of the rest are deli style. The meatballs were not bad. But I won’t be returning to order that again. I was looking for exceptional and this particular order didn’t make it for me. I will be back to try one or two other options at some point. If you like Quiznos or penn station or some of the similar sandwich spots try this one.

This place is awful. I usually like Firehouse Subs and eat at the one by my work often, but there is something wrong here. The place is staffed with a bunch of kids and a Manager(or maybe even owner) who don’t care if they get your order correct, if they are friendly, or if they move at a snails pace. I was so frustrated on my(first and last!) visit with how slow and apathetic the staff was, but was angry when I got my food and they had managed to screw it all up. For example, one sub was supposed to be plain. NOTHING on it. The blank look of the cashier prompted me to say: «I literally just want the meat and the bun… no cheese, sauces, or toppings. Cold please.» I ended up with a concoction that no one in their right mind would ingest. Sloppy with weird toppings. I literally gave them the easiest order ever and they took 20 minutes to get it to me and messed it up beyond all recognition. When I complained, the manager(or possibly owner) acted annoyed, and asked what I wanted her to do(via voicemail). I called back to ask if she could replace my sub at another of her locations because I wasn’t setting foot in the Pickerington location again, and she said«come in and mention my name and we will give you a feww sub with your next order». Ummmm… somehwere there was a disconnect.

Same quality as the other Firehouse Sibs I’ve eaten at however the management could use a class on courtesy as they were very rushed and failed to crack a smile. Can’t go wrong with the meatball sub.

The subs are fantastic I think fairly priced for the portions. The meat melts in your mouth it’s so good. Service was great and quick. Definitely my favorite place for subs or sandwiches. Really glad one opened in Pickerington!
