The Little Clinic

After going to NextCare Urgent care not once but twice in a 5 day time frame and not getting any better my husband decided to try The Little Clinic. Check in was extremely easy, the electronic kiosk asked only the basic questions, name, address, insurance company. After check in they get the rest of your information off of your ID and or insurance card. After waiting about 10 minutes Tatiana called him back. She was through and asked what his symptoms were and had a list of questions. NextCare told my husband he had a sinus and upper respiratory infections but refused to give him antibiotics. Tatiana confirmed their diagnosis but said he also had an ear infection so yes antibiotics were probably in order since it had been 10 days since the start of his symptoms. 24 hours later he is starting to feel normal again. This was a very positive experience and honestly we don’t think we will ever use another type of urgent care when we can’t get to our PCP unless we can use The Little Clinic.

I visited this Little Clinic location on Friday, November 27^th. I had a cough that had been going on for a week and wasn’t going away. On a side note, the Fry’s mobile app is accurate in indicating the wait time. I arrived and it didn’t take long to be seen. Vivian Haji was the the PA on staff that helped me. She was great. She was thorough, thoughtful, compassionate, and showed genuine concern for my wellbeing. I appreciated her exercising caution in determining what medicines to prescribe to treat me. I had my prescriptions filled there. On her way out, Ms. Haji stopped by and spoke with the pharmacist to confirm that there weren’t going to be any issues and then she wished me well. A few days later she called me to see how I was doing. I appreciated that she went above and beyond to take care of me. I followed up with my primary care doctor on 11÷30÷15 and presented a print out of notes from my visit and I asked him if she did well in how she diagnosed and treated me and he said yes and to continue finishing out what she had outlined in her instructions to me. I highly recommend this Little Clinic location and Ms. Haji. Driving to this Little Clinic location was worth the drive from Laveen.
