Absolutely excellent! My favorite organic, vegan, gluten-free restaurant in all of Arizona! I especially love their raw options and everything I’ve ever ordered off the menu has been amazing ~ a definite A+. Great atmosphere and service and we come here at least 3 – 4 times a month, for our«Pomegranate fix». Can’t get enough! Thank you Pomegranate Café ~

I was skeptical of a restaurant that proclaimed a vegan menu, but I’m so glad I read the reviews and gave it a shot! I took my husband and two young sons there for brunch and we were treated to a great meal. Service was a bit slow but could say it was laid back and relaxed I guess. I had a maca smoothie that was incredibly flavorful and the seedy toast with strawberries and nutty butter. It was fantastic! The kids enjoyed their breakfast burrito and eggs/toast meals, and my husband was in love with the special he ordered, but I couldn’t tell you what it was other than some eggs and lots of spicy vegetables! Eggs are an alternative to tofu you can order on any menu item for an extra $ 1 if you prefer. We will definitely be back!

This place has a cool ambiance, very modern and a bit hipster. They have cold brew on tap, which is a big plus in my book. the food overall was very average. I had the Arizona wrap and Anna had another wrap. We both thought they were very average at best. The kids had french toast that was very good. I wouldn’t come here again unless I was with vegetarians they wanted to come.

Service, all stars. I had the spicy dragon bowl with tofu and kelp noodles(pro tip: ask for sriracha if you like heat), and it was delish. I’ll be back– likely tomorrow! Not your average vegan restaurant(i.e. Bland)

Wonderful service! Our server was so sweet and helpful, and provided great recommendations. Our 2 year old loved his French toast, and he got run around the patio in the misters. The dragon bowl was so yummy, and big enough to share. Wish we were in town at 3 o’clock for their happy hour!

I really liked this place. The scrambles are great but I have a problem with the management. My wife had a bad experience with a pick up order and instead of owning the mistake they tried to push the blame around. So now the wife won’t go back so now I take my family of three to The Coronado once a weekend for our traditional breakfast out. All they had to say was sorry and we’d still be loyal customers.

Tried the coconut caramel hot coffee which was delicious. BUT, this review is for the desserts which is the only reason I went. We had a chocolate-strawberry cinnamon roll that was really hard and flavorless, the brownie was also really hard and strong-like dark chocolate. The cheesecake was decent but still flavorless, although it reminded of ice cream almost. Totally a waste of $ 26 for the 4 items we purchased. I should’ve spent that much on gas to travel to a different bakery(say, the one in PHX…). So disappointed. Maybe I should’ve gone for the food instead of the desserts and I might have had a different outcome, but at this point, I’m not going out of my way to try this place again.

This is my mom’s favorite restaurant in Phoenix so we always make a point to come here from North Phoenix for her birthday/Mother’s Day. This year was no exception. We hadn’t been in a while so didn’t know a) they take reservations and b) they had expanded. We knew being Mother’s Day it would likely be very busy. As expected we walked into a very crowded restaurant. The hostess let us know it would be about 45 mins so we decided to grab a few drinks at the counter. We ordered three different coffee drinks(I forget what they were called but they were very good). Within 10 min of being there they had a table outside for us. We were pleasantly surprised! They had a specific menu for Mother’s Day so we split the mesquite pancakes(huge portions but honestly wasn’t my favorite), tacos and burrito(both of those were delicious). Portions are always way bigger than we remember(definitely could have just ordered two meals for the three of us). And desserts are always on point(we typically get something chocolate to take home). We love that most everything is healthy, vegan, organic and gluten-free. We just wish they would open another location in north Phoenix!

I love this place! Great service and folds. I loved the hollandaise sauce. The pom cooler was way too sweet so i watered it down. Only bad side– i do not like their baked goods. I tried the below: Almond joy– tasted like it was made with old days Fudge brownie– also tasted like it was made with old dates. I couldn’t eat more than 1 bite. Pistachio cookies– THEBOMB! I love these Pesto scones– these were just ok. I love the flavor but way to dry. They crumbled in my hand. I will be back though i will stay away from the juices & baked goods.

I placed an order through Door Dash. After a while I got a call from them telling me that my original order wasn’t available, so I told them my second choice. When the Door Dash delivery driver arrived, he was told that my second choice was also not available, and that if I wanted to order anything else to-go it would be 45 minutes. This was AFTER I’d already waited nearly an hour for my order. I understand that Door Dash employees aren’t the actual customer, but they represent us. They are there for us. And the fact that the manager of this restaurant, that I so loved going to, treated him and me — by way of my delivery driver — so poorly makes me want to never visit again. UPDATE: After much back and forth between Pomegranate and Door Dash, it all boiled down to this from Pomegranate: «You should ask Door Dash to refund your money for today’s poor service.»(And I did get a refund from DD without having to ask for it because DD apparently cares about its customers, so …) Wow. Passing the buck. Thanks for looking out for yourselves and not your customers.

It’s a real bummer that this place is so far away from my part of town. I was lucky enough to be in the area. This place is a true vegans paradise. If you are Vegan then you will not be disappointed with their menu. They also cater to Vegetarians so if you’re not full Vegan you will also fit right in. Service is great and the patio is a great place to sit if the weather permits. Don’t forget to try some of there delicious baked goods. All of which are made Vegan style.

I used to come here for breakfast when I lived in the area. We usually split the green bandito burrito with kale salad as the side. The salsa that came with it was so tasty — I would always ask for an extra side! We also split the berry parfait as our dessert and that definitely hit my sweet tooth. I can’t really speak on anything else on the menu, since I get the same thing every time! Highly recommend them both! I was honestly surprised how tasty the food was. I feel like some healthy places tend to be bland but this was definitely packed with flavor!

The food here is always outstanding and I love the creativity and diversity of their menu. This is the go to place for healthy meals and/or delightful vegan, vegetarian and raw food dishes. They also have a wonderful selection of juices, smoothies, coffees and teas. I’ve always had great service here. Overall, it is nice to see a locally based business growing and thriving in the«Tuke».

My friend took me here. It’s vegan and organic. The food here is phenomenal. We came for brunch, You can’t go wrong with any entrée you get really. The pancakes here are so fluffy and so filling. Make sure you share, it’s big. Oh and the Chilliquiles. Omg. It was AMAZING. Blue chips, beans, tofu and HOTSAUCEONTOP. oh yessss. I wouldn’t mind eating this for breakfast lunch and dinner. They have great pastries here as well. Kinda sweet for my taste buds but when I do… it’s good. But why is it so farrrr. lol. The 20 min drive is worth it though.

On a road trip, and lucky for us, we liked it so much we came here twice. also conveniently next to Trader Joes. I just should stop here, post pics of my food and beverages. and yes, next time we’re in AZ, we will return. I’m so happy it’s not far from my timeshare!

I love their Power Kale Salad and their AB& J Bowl!!! I’m a natural carnivore yet to mix up the calories, I highly recommend this place for their healthy salads and fabulous staff. They have indoor and outdoor seating and 2 thumbs up for their dog friendly patio. Only drawback to this place is I wish the weekday hours were until 9pm but other than that, it’s a winner! Tuesday-Thursday: 8 am — 8 pm Friday & Saturday: 8 am — 9 pm Sunday: 8 am — 4 pm Closed Mondays

I still love the food at Pomegranate. It is by far some of the best vegan food around. That gets 5 stars from me. The service though really can be frustrating. I have been coming here a lot on the past year and service seems really hit or miss. The food always brings me back, but I think the food saves them. Based on service I probably would have stopped coming. There seems to be a lot of confusion with the staff. Incorrect to go orders, bringing me my cheesecake to go while I’m waiting outside and telling me that the rest of my food is going to be 15 minutes. Can you imagine what 15 minutes outside waiting in 100 degrees will do to my dessert? Um it’s going to melt. Staff is trying, but not all of them seem like they have a clue. It comes off as too chill, too hippy dippy, not professional, and less than a 5 star worthy rating. I want to see them take it up a notch and have the quality of service match the food.
