Got a flyer in the mail for this place. Says it under new management. It also says they are opened 7 days a week with an exclamation mark. I called today (Saturday) and they were just about to close — called around 4 p.m. The guy asked if I wanted to come on Monday. When I asked him about Saturday, he asked someone and then told me that they don’t always work on Sundays. Apparently they only work occasional Sundays if there is someone who wants to work that day. WHA!!! Why advertise on a flyer AND website that you are opened 7 days a week when you really aren’t. Can’t comment about the actual place but that as is wasn’t a great starting point for them.

This salon was an absolute nightmare… The owner, ED, was 20 minutes late and on our first meeting he did nothing but critisize my hair. He cut and finished it and made me look about 30 years older. He did nothing but talk about himself and how he recently fired an employee the day before… Wow…what a horrible visit. I do not recommend him to anyone. If you live in Tramonto you are out of luck and will have to travel to get a good hair cut/​color.

Went to a new hair salon up near my house — and in Cave Creek, nothing is all that near! The salon is brand new, so I had the place to myself, and the full attention of the stylist.
Dawn cut and colored my hair — she did a super amazing job! So, honestly, I brought a magazine ad of Cher with some big gorgeous hair and bangs with this awesome lighting — at first she looks at me and thinks I don’t even have the hair to do this. But then I take out my hair tie and she sees all my big curly hair fall out and she’s like, ah yes, we can do that. And what do you know… she did it — she totally matched this hair-​do that some super pricey stylist probably was hired to do on Cher for that ad. The cut, color, and style were all AWESOME!
So I was on Skype later that night with my boyfriend — after a few minutes, he’s like…
Did you get your hair cut?
Yes.
It looks longer!
She only took off ¾ inch
Wow — you took in the Cher photo, didn’t you?
Yes — she matched it pretty well, eh?
OMG — it’s so beautiful
Yes…I got 60 minutes of beautiful hair compliments.
