I like Starbucks better. There I said it. Unfortunately this was my only option in the terminal at LAX, so I caved and bought a frappé and banana bread. I threw most of the bread away (too dense) and the coffee tasted more like a milkshake than a caffeinated beverage (which I needed). All in all I would not go again, unless of course it was my only option. I will also comment that the staff there was unfriendly and unhelpful as far as telling me what their sizes were, etc.

Terminal 2 store: somewhat of a horrible experience: 1) employees are stressed and don’t really talk to you in a positive vibe; 2) the menu is hidden up in a shadowy corner in small print and dark letters — I could not read the details or calculated calorie counts!; 3) there were several «options» for flavors etc that were not on the sign and not intuitive, forcing the annoyed and stressed employee to painfully repeat them to me; 4) took a long time to get my order in a busy airport terminal. We are prisoners to the inconvenience in an airport but they could at least make it more customer friendly.

You would do better walking across the hallway to Wendy’s and getting coffee there. The Coffee Bean had no customers in line yet I had to wait 6 minutes to be waited on. While waiting I noticed they sell cans of chocolate powder topper to take home, but do you think they could put any out for customers who just purchased a large expensive cappuccino? You guest it NO. Maybe the chocolate powder would have helped improve the taste of their bitter coffee. Yuk! Just a captive audience.

Oh how I love Coffee Bean! I love their Hot Vanilla and the staff at this location is super friendly and quick to make your drink!

Stopped in at their location at Terminal 2 near gate 9 prior to my flight.
The service was quick and professional and there was not a line. Iced or hot yoy will be pleased with quality typical of the chain.

I heart coffee bean! Every time I head West, I get excited to see these chains — so in general I love them. But I wish they had better service at this location. The people here didn’t act as hospitable as at other Coffee Bean locations. Kudos for the location though — in the airport and in a great location. yum.
