Took my husband to Oasis. He had a latte and brownie. I had the ginger coffee and a sambusa. Again the coffee was excellent and the sambusa tasty enough so that I am looking up recipes.

Great coffee! Real nice customer service! Highly recommended from a real coffee snob. The only thing missing is a hospice nurse for some of the customers:) oh, I got it! Wait for it… Coffee shop hospice!!!

They only use Ethiopian coffee which tasted great and Abdul was great to talk to. I’ll be coming back to buy some beans to take home with me. This place is worth going out of the way to visit.

Wow. This is the right place to drink Ethiopian coffee beans roasted and brewed perfectly. One can taste and enjoy the complex flavor of these great beans. In a coffee world of over roasted inferior beans useful only used to flavor milk drinks, this is a treat to coffee. In addition the the coffee served the traditional manner is unlike anything else in the valley.

Mudamma dish is Delish! We had this with wheat and the owners are so friendly and quick. They make you feel at home! New favorite place. We will be a regular client now!

This is the best coffee I have ever had. The staff is very friendly. I pray this place never goes away. The egg frittata is phenomenal. I wish I would have discovered this place sooner. The crazy thing is that I use to live by it. I am definitely a regular now.

Whoa! Ginger spiced Ethiopian coffee ~ceremony~, served out of a gourd, with incense & free biscotti… I think we found our new breeding grounds for conscious creative collaboration! Kind service and Ethiopian original treats, like Injira wrap sandwiches & free WiFi!

My husband discovered this shop next to his gym and brought me home a black spiced tea. To say it blew my mind would be an understatement. We went back the next day and had another tea and some iced coffee. The owners are so warm and friend and really appreciate you coming in. It’s like have tea with family that you really like. Also, their brownies are amazing!

My first experience was great! My boyfriend and I had the traditional coffee. We were unfamiliar with the setup presented to us, but the woman who brought it to us(and the gentleman who took our order) were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. As a coffee lover, I thought it tasted great, and my boyfriend who dislikes the taste of coffee really enjoyed it as well. I doubt you can go wrong with your choice of food or beverage at this place. We will definitely be returning to try some food next time(=

Don’t let the kind of drab strip mall location deter you from trying this unique coffee shop and café. I had faith in my fellow Unilocalers popping in here and I was not let down. There was a real laid back vibe at this shop and the owner was super friendly. The coffee was really nice and it was cozy chilling out there for a while. Looking forward to trying some teas on my next visit.

I usually drink tea. I recently decided to try coffee and have found that coffee at many national Chain locations taste awful and bitter. Not the case here! No drip coffee! Friendliest baristas ever too! Super fast service! Good prices! My new favorite spot! Thanks so much for the smiles!

Not only is the coffee great and the breakfast sandwich delicious, but the owners are kind and friendly and the price is right. It is the kind of place where regulars«hang out» and chat, and the couple who own it know everyone’s name. I appreciate the calm atmosphere and the free wifi. I went based on a Unilocal review and I am so glad I did!

Found this little coffee & tea shop at random while perusing Unilocal for nearby options one lazy Saturday. Totally unassuming structure; you’ve gotta be looking for this place or you’ll drive right by it. **After having visited, I need to say: DON’T DRIVERIGHTBYIT! I couldn’t be happier with my experience here. Walking through the front door, you’re met with a gentle whiff of spices — not quite what the olfactory brain expects, but pleasant and surprising nonetheless. The barista was a sweet young woman named Maria. Turns out, she was still pretty new to the job, but her demeanor and willingness to help coupled with her excitement to be working here was evident, and contagious. I ordered a «Traditional Coffee Ceremony» for the first time ever.(The ceremony serves two.) The coffee took some time to prepare, but I expected this. When it came to the table, it was served by the owner, Aisha Tedros, on a tray. The coffee had been brewed in an authentic clay pot with a neck stuffed full of what Aisha referred to as «a natural filter made from the palm tree». It was set on the tray alongside two small tea cups, a clay container holding white sugar, and another small clay container holding herbs and spices. The herbs and spices were scooped into another little saucer containing hot coals to incite a lovely and calming incense, then the coffee was poured through the palm-tree-filter over a tiny spoonful of white sugar in each tea cup. The experience of the coffee was equally satisfying. I stayed for quite some time, making myself at home with the delicious coffee and some phenomenal homemade baklava. Both Aisha and Maria checked up on me regularly, even taking the time to get to know more about me personally, which I really really enjoyed. This will absolutely NOT be the last time I venture out to this wonderful location and I fully intend to introduce all my friends to this truly fascinating experience. There are very few places that induce such a sense of calm in me — A.T. Oasis genuinely surprised me. Made my day. Go see for yourself sometime soon! :)

This place is amazing. I’d come back for the friendliness of the owner alone, but the food and coffee are so fantastic that it’s a total home run. I tried to include a picture of the sambusa I had, but… I kind of ate it. Also, the iced ginger coffee is FREAKINGINCREDIBLE. I know that sounds weird. Just try it. This food. Oh. Oh, it’s dangerous. Also, it’s all organic. WOW. I have definitely found my favorite coffee shop in Phoenix.

The Hibiscus iced tea is the real thing. Is it straight from Africa? I don’t know. But it’s the real thing. Refreshing and delicious. I sweeten my tea with a little Splenda.

Why did I not know about this place when I lived a mile away from it?! It’s great. Really great. Clean, casual, warm, and richly scented with just THEBEST coffee.(I’m assuming it’s the best based on the smell. I’m actually not a connoisseur of coffee.) They do their own roasting of their Ethiopian beans. The knowledgeable and friendly shopkeeper explained that they don’t overcook their beans; they go for a medium roast. Darker than that, and you get a bitter tang. But they also have food, and they make almost all of it there, from scratch. All I had was a brownie, but if that was any indication of the rest of the food, I’ll be back, when I’m hungry.

There is no place with better tasting tea and coffee, not to mention customer service than Aisha’s A.T. Oasis Coffee Shop. Bar none. They import the highest quality Ethiopian beans directly from Africa and spice their drinks to perfection. Aisha is an amazing lady with a vision for her shop and is one of the most personable business owners you will ever meet.

Who knew i’d like ginger coffee? This place has made me a fan of the flavor. The best part is they even let you taste all their coffee with the tiny tea cups, unlike other places that have you commit to buying. Just to find yourself not liking it in the end. They serve their food and drinks with actual care and consideration in mind. They serve their cakes warm, and the drinks chilling cold without the overkill ammount of ice. All in all, it’s the kind of coffee shop that in my honest opinion is the kind of shop we coffee lovers have been looking for. Thanks for the experience it was without a doubt, mellow, inviting, and memorable.
