We camped here last weekend. The spots are larger than average and beautiful. In the middle of a virgin (whatever that means) Redwood Grove and right beside a stream.
But, right on the 128! We could hear cars and trucks going by all night. This would make a perfect campgrounds for someone just looking for a place to set up a tent on a road trip. Even so, we had a wonderful relaxing time camping in the redwoods.
The sites cost $ 15. The rangers are very friendly and have fire wood available for $ 7. This is a first come first serve campgrounds.
