I called the day before and spoke to a helpful woman about a delivery. Wasn’t really familiar with the products though. Told her what I wanted and had saw it on the list of items they sell. All seemed to go well. It was for my daughters birthday.
The next day I received a call from my daughters mother. She said a neighbor had called asking if she was expecting a delivery. She told her no. But there was a van in the driveway and a man standing there for several minutes. She went outside and the delivery man was in the van by this point just sitting there. She walked from the side door of the house to the front to find the vase of flowers, balloon and teddy bear just sitting on the front doorstep. It had been raining that day. She picked it up and turned to see the driver still in the truck. There is a sign on the front door saying ‘please use the side door.’ The neighbor said the driver stood and looked at this for several minutes. Then just set it down and went in the van. This is frustrating to hear knowing I spent over $ 10 just for a delivery that could have been left in the rain if it was not for a friendly neighbor. The driver never did get out and talk to her.
The arrangement was $ 40. I think they may need a new delivery man. Who isn’t excited to see a man with flowers? Never been to the store. But wouldn’t recommend a delivery. And if it weren’t for the neighbor and my daughters mother catching this I would have never known as I suspect this probably happens on a daily basis with deliveries. It also spooked my daughter. I wanted to send her flowers. Not make them think a pervert was stalking the house.
