DONOTEVERRENTFROMHERE! We have had a unit here for 1 month and our things are covered in rat poop. It’s every where! Customer service is appalling. Guy who answers the phone has no clue how to do his job or what he even does there. You want the manager to call you? Good luck cause she is never there and I’ve been waiting for call back for over a week. Can’t get my stuff out of this place fast enough.

We have rented storage units at various U-Haul locations in various states and this is by far the worst one we have ever used. It literally took us an hour, no joke, just to get the unit. We had already reserved it ahead of time but entering us into the system again or whatever they did took an eternity of our time. There are always trucks blocking the gate and walk through doors in and out. The climate controlled units are kept around 90 degrees so not very controlled– it was cooler outside than inside. Overall it was a very difficult location to get to, difficult to get in and out of, difficult to get to our belongings and very difficult to check in and also out.

Avoid this location at all cost. I reserved pods online and when I arrived it was an hour before I got out of there. They spent 30 mins on me at the counter just to get my already filled out paperwork dealt with. When I complained they offered no apologizes even in the slightest. He instead told me that I had arrived at a busy time, which didn’t make sense since I was the second person in line. There was however 5 highly frustrated people behind me. I called before picking up my second set of pods to make sure they were ready, they said come at 10 am the next morning and they would be. I arrived at 12 just to be safe, I was told nothing was done and it would be another hour before they would have it ready, again not a single apology, literally nothing. I would assume they get yelled at a lot and just don’t care anymore. Avoid this place at all cost if you have a schedule to keep.

If you can use a different location, do so. It took 45 min in the office to rent a truck that we already reserved online. We were told it was our fault for running the card as debit online. Ummm… its an American Express credit card and since when is debit an option for anything online? If it is debit, they charge you an extra deposit. When we asked if we’d get the deposit back, the response was«you ‘should’ get it back» and«corporate headquarters should pay it back if we’re too busy». Not very reassuring. All in all, avoid it. Something shady is going on with their business practices.
