Red Aces Motorsports

This place is awesome. I had a somewhat serious scooter issue and within 20 minutes I was driving away. problem solved. Can’t emphasize. Enough how awesome Mitch and Red Aces are!!!

Nothing personal, but if you want quality work in a timely manner, you should choose more wisely than I did when I took my 1982 VF750c to Red Aces.
After 3 months at their shop, only the carbs had been cleaned and spark plugs replaced (plugs were brand new). When I finally just picked up the bike and took directly to another shop (QZ Cycle) which was recommended by the pros, they immediately identified (with bike still on the trailer, direct from Red Aces) that 2 cyl. were not even firing, the carbs were mis-​aligned so that a huge gap in the seal to the intake, the float valves in the carb were all stuck, the fuel rail was JB welded instead of replaced, the fuel line was cracked and leaking. Essentially, the bike was in worse condition that when I took it to Red Aces originally. A $ 300 lesson in what not to do.
These guys seem too busy and bikes are more of a hobby; they really didn’t seem to care. When I called to talk with the owner over the 3 months he had my bike, he stopped taking my calls and resorted to Texting me only. Just really bad business experience and the exact opposite of «professional» in my opinion. My buddy tried to warn me to go to the «other guys» in the beginning, but I wanted to give the «little local guy» my business — I should have listened.
Plus — Red Aces was $ 15/​hr more expensive than the rock-​stars I found over at QZ Cycle. Don’t I feel like a shave tail Louie!
I’m no expert, but that was my experience.

I took my 1976 Honda CB200 to Mitch to get the carb rebuilt. He did an awesome job and completed the project really quickly. He picked the bike up from me and I went to his garage to pick it back up. We talked about his projects for a while, and it’s clear he really loves working on bikes, and knows his stuff. I’ll continue to take any/​all of my bikes to him. I can’t recommend him enough

Recently the arm that connects my shifter linkage to the rod through the crank case broke off and left me in third gear.
Mitch met me at his place since it’s closer, and I didn’t have to limp the bike further than I needed to. There in his Garage he welded the arm back to the piece that clamps around the pin, and I was going again in less than thirty minutes.
I would definitely recommend his services. Knowledgeable, friendly, and goes out of his way to help.
