My wife and I were looking to do some landscaping for our home. This is our first house and we really had no clue on what to do. We had some ideas for an asian theme and the areas we’d like to do something with but knowing what plants or trees to use, if we needed to level or raise an area, how much was too much in the area, we had no clue.
Mary sent us a questionnaire to get an idea what we were looking for and also asked for our plat so she could get an orientation of where the sun would be, inclines, etc. We set up an appointment for her to come by and meet with my wife and I.
When Mary arrived she was very polite and ready to go to work. We looked at our back yard and she immediately had a good idea of what could be done. She pointed out some problem areas in terms of drainage etc.
We came back inside and she had a plethora of information for us. A guide on Texas plants, a rough drawing our back yard, different pictures and information on the types of trees and plants she wanted to recommend to us, and more.
We went over all of this information, and got a vision of how our yard could look, and loved it. Mary really hit the nail on the head. The consultation took roughly 2 hours and we were very pleased.
After the fact, we received an email from Mary with some additional information and suggestions. She made sure we were well informed before the consultation, during, and after. Wonderful, and polite subject matter expert, thank you Mary!
