Dance Elements

This is the worst dance studio for little kids. The instructor (Mylenda) was not good with the girls in the class, and even had the nerve to put one of the girls out of class after yelling at her instead of resolving the issue. Don’t bother emailing the owner (Jerri) because you won’t get a reply ever. She is rude and always acts like she’s too busy for anything. If you’re too busy to ever be at your studio you own, and too busy answer calls or emails then maybe you shouldn’t own a business. They never return calls after you leave them a message, and it is rare that you have someone sitting at the front desk while classes are being held in case you have an issue. We will never take a class here again. Dance Elements… Dance Hellements is more like it!

My daughter has been taking classes here for 2 years now. Excellent teachers with relatively small classes so your child gets wonderful instruction! The studio offers a wide range of classes, tap, ballet, jazz, hip-​hop, contemporary, and even exceptional steps for anyone 3+ who has special needs.
Classes are reasonably priced and there is one large recital annually where all students perform at least one dance.
Happy we chose Dance Elements to teach dance to our child!

Both of my daughters take classes here and they both enjoy it. There are a wide range of classes that are offered and they take care of every age group.

I’m one of the few adults who take class at Dance Elements and I LOVE it. I’m as inexperienced a dancer as they come, but Jerri, the owner, and the other instructors are such fun people who only encourage everyone in their effort to learn new things. Before January, I had only tap danced in my dreams and now I can say that my drawbacks (some technical term for walking backwards) even impressed Jerri. The whole dance experience has been awesome and I look forward to my classes each week.

If you live in the northern part of the city, Round Rock, Pflugerville, or Hutto and you are looking for a place to take your budding ballerina, you should try Dance Elements. I took my four year old to several other dance studios before we settled on this new studio near 45 and 130. Lonestar Dance was way too large and intimidating, and one other studio was a little snobby. But Dance Elements is perfect. The owner, Jeri, is a sweet young mom just beginning her second year of owning her own studio. She always starts and ends classes on time, works well with the kids, and is professional in every way. I like the fact that the waiting room is large and everyone there is just FRIENDLY. 5 stars for Dance Elements!
