I am not a huge sub fan, but I really liked this place. As a vegetarian, who doesn’t doesn’t like all vegetables, I was a little nervous that all my substituting wouldn’t come out correct. The owner was very nice and explained that I could basically tell him what veggies I wanted, and he would make sure it was correct. My sub actually came out just the way I wanted! I will admit that the bread is a little too bready for me, they could maybe consider taking out the«guts» on some of the more filled subs.

Great place! Friendly atmosphere! I enjoy being treated well by the staff every time. Always a good choice for lunch or dinner. The Rueben James is my favorite. Which one will be yours?

My family has been coming here more than my check ins show. Even my grandson is a fan.

Yes, I’m old enough to remember the original string of Suburpias hidden in little places all around Milwaukee. I visited them on a regular basis on many a date night. That tuna sub was simply my favorite. I got drafted in 72 and shortly after my honorable discharge moved to CA. When I retired in 2013 I moved back and was very excited to see Suburpia rise for a second time. I beat feet getting there and was thrilled to see the same serving set up and then get to taste the tuna sub once again. All those missing years and yet the same exact tasty memory. The only things missing were my 32″ waist and my Rambler.

At first I was glad to see Suburpia had come back to Waukesha. After having the Camp David sub today I am so disappointed. This is nothing like the sub used to be. First the outside of my bag was slick from the oil, doesn’t have the Suburpia name on the bag like I remembered. The ham doesn’t seem the same, I could have bought better ham at Pick n Save’s deli. It looked and tasted like cheap packaged ham. The sub in general had no flavor at all, no seasoning, the oil had no flavor, the ham and turkey were blah. It tasted like I was eating a soggy mayo sub. I will stick to Jersey Mikes, Cousins, or Jimmy Johns-yes they are a little more expensive but you get better quality and tasting subs. I don’t see this Suburpia lasting at this new location either. Too bad, they used to be good.
