Wonderful soups and sandwiches and i like the overall vibe. Décor starting to show its age may need a refresh. Overall a favorite!

We had a great breakfast here! Pancakes were delicious and their bacon was great. The atmosphere was really cool. Definitely a neat little spot to grab a quick quality meal.

Amazing everything. Addicted to the Brad’s Addiction(half hot chocolate, half coffee) Sandwiches are super delicious as well, I’d recommend the Blackwich. Staff is super friendly, interior is chill and casual, good for everyone.

My daughter had the Cranberry Café Spinach Salad and loved it. My wife had the half sandwich and cup of soup which she loved. I had the Blackwich sandwich and Creamy Chicken Quesadilla Soup. It was wonderful. My other daughter had a special request sandwich which I won’t go into, but she was happy with it. We loved everything about roast & toast. We will visit again.

I’ve been in love with Roast & Toast since the 8th grade. Perfect café in downtown Petoskey has plenty of seating(because they’re always packed), and a wonderful atmosphere. When you walk in, you head to one of the cash registers to order your coffee or lunch. The drink board is full of tasty barista creations. Several varieties of drip coffee available as well. You can even purchase beans to take home. Their lunch is fantastic. soups/salads/sandwiches and combo options available. I’m in love with their chicken salad sandwich. I had ½ a sandwich and a cup of 5 bean soup. They serve their lunch with a side, the day i was in the side was sliced watermelon. After you order, find a seat and they will yell your name when your meal is ready. If you aren’t looking for a meal then you should check out their pastry case. always filled with fresh goodies. They are doing something right at Roast & Toast.

I’ve been here twice and would say it is a must-try breakfast spot for visitors to Petoskey. Cool décor and nice seating options(couple of small window tables near the entrance, and also some half-booths set into the back wall). Dynamic menu for light vs hearty meals and a display case for a-la-carte goodies. Also a nice drink menu for lattes, mochas, and smoothies. Order at the counter, grab a table and they’ll call your name when it’s ready. I dropped a star because the menu was a little chaotic, latte was a little too syrupie(yes, that is now a word), and their«spicy» potatoes got my hopes up about a heat index, only to disappoint me with a hodge-podge of clashing spices they dusted them with… I LOVE spices, even without making me sweat when I eat. I would normally say: «the more the merrier», but this was a strange combination of spices on those potatoes that I would suggest they reconsider, but that’s just me and I did NOT intend to go on a rant about some potatoes. I will still be back next time I’m in Petoskey.
