Tian Tian Gourmet

Delivery was quick and the food was good. Best Chinese food so far here in Petersburg.
Pepper steak and fried rice were good. I’ll update after a couple more meals to from there.

Oh, Tian Tian. For some reason, you share a nearly identical menu with nearby Jade Garden. But fear not, for you are better than Jade Garden. Now that’s of course not saying much, since Jade Garden is one of the worst restaurants in the area. But seeing the striking similarities in the menus makes me think that at least one of them plagiarized from somewhere else, but I don’t know who or where it was. Ah, what the heck. I’m reviewing food here; why am I caring about plagiarism?
Okay, so delivery took 53 minutes. A bit on the long side, but to be fair, the driver was also making rounds for a bunch of other people’s orders. The food here is cheap and plentiful, albeit generic. It’s just your standard Americanized Chinese cuisine that hasn’t been butchered to a complete disaster. Try them out if you wish. Just don’t go expecting your food to be gourmet or delivered to you quickly.

Food was good. Did not have a menu or website. Pepper steak a little to chewy and fried orange chicken (pieces of chicken too small in batter)

it’s the best Chinese in Petersburg. The Gen Tso Chicken is standard but really good. Now if you’re up in Chester Chen’s is hands down my favorite!

In a town like Petersburg, it is easy to start thinking there is no good food. Surprisingly, this place was delicious! The food was definitely fresh and the people working there were really nice. We also ordered delivery and the food came quickly. The larger size of the entrees is a ton of food. In fact, for $ 40, five of us ate the food for 3 days. Also, they have lunch specials which seem to be an excellent value.

The first time we ordered food it was okay, delivered in a timely fashion. The fried rice was good but the scallion pancakes were fried at least a few hours before we received them.
The second time, tonight, we waited for delivery for 2 hours. When we called them they said they hadn’t even started cooking the food yet. Not sure how long it actually would’ve taken, since we canceled the order when they said they didn’t know when we’d ever get the food.
