I usually check reviews before going to a place but Taste of China was an exception. While the service was a bit abrupt(they were pretty busy and that kitchen gets HOT when it’s 90+ degrees out) my chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken were tasty and hot even if slightly underseasoned(I guess that’s what soy sauce is for). I appreciated the food wasnt salty and I was able to add to my own taste. The fried rice had plenty of meat and everything tasted relatively fresh. My sweet and sour sauce seemed a bit thin, like it had been cut with something to make it last longer. In any case, I would come back and sample other items on the menu and I’m glad I stopped in as I drove back through from Walmart. Conveniently there’s a GameStop and Dollar Tree nearby so if you have some video game or bargain shopping to do there is quite a bit to keep you busy while you wait for your takeout to be ready.

Food was good(General Tso’s chicken combo cane with egg roll and yellow fried rice). Staff were quiet but friendly. The facility is a little old-looking and there are only a few tables but I was mainly there for the food anyway.

Decent food for a reasonable price. Friendly staff. Its basically counter service, quickly made Chinese food. Its not a place I’d take a date but I’d eat there again.

Some of the best Chinese I have had and the staff is always so nice, building is a little on the old side but seems clean.
