Original Buffalo Wings Restaurant

Been coming here for years! The family that works there is always so nice and the food is consistent. Can’t go wrong with OGB.

Best thing about Original Buffalo Wings is the price for quality and quantity. I honestly think this place offers the best balance in regards to the latter. I have lived in Petaluma for 4 years, and have gone and ate, had delivered, and picked up to take home OBDub countless times. If you like football Sundays please get this delivered to your home one Sunday. I get a craving for this place about twice a month. Do not be afraid of the uninspiring structure and somewhat leaden interior. They consistently deliver quality food.
The standard wings rest in a plethora of vinegary, spicy wing sauce. They are messy and delicious, so I am a little thrown off with peoples’ negative reviews about wings being messy. — What did you think you were eating? Anyways, they also offer a number of alternative wing flavors. They have always been fresh and steaming off the bone, even when delivered. They are my second favorite wings in Sonoma County. (First is bear republic) — try them.
While wings are certainly their flagship item, I cannot stress enough how good the other menu items are that I have tried. The buffalo burger is my favorite burger in Petaluma. Hands down, no BS, this is my favorite burger in this town. And the philly cheesesteak is better than the Cheesesteak Shop’s cheesesteak.
Go here; try the wings and another item. That should be all you need to then eventually come back.

Best chicken wings in all of Sonoma County, matter of fact best chicken wings in all of northern california. Exceptional service aswell! If you dare to try their own special spicy sauce make sure to ask momma.

By some luck of the draw, when we moved back to Petaluma we made it into their delivery range. Now when I call, they seem to know me by name and by order. (It’s the crazy lady with the 50 wing order.) If I’m picking up, I order ahead, and then arrive to hot, ready and delish food.
I love the wings the most. with the chips. I like any of the sauces except the BBQ (that’s not my thing) The philly cheesesteak sandwich rocks too. Like better than the cheesesteak place in the shopping center by Target, and for the price, the amount of food is totally worth it.
The fried shrimp and the fish are awesome too. The salads are HUGE.
Come here, eat here, get it to go, have it delivered, you won’t be disappointed.

I decided to try this place since everyone at my work was recommending it. This place did not disappoint at all. I ordered the tenders with fries. Just the way I like it, without the thick breading and the sauce was flavorful. The side of fries are not the best, but I can’t complain since they are not bad. Overall, I love this place and definitely will come back for sure during my lunch hours. The lady at the counter was a positive person and keeps on giving positive waves to make up your day. High five to the lady!

Nope. Sloppy wilted salad, greasy wings, uncaring staff, dirty… this place really sucks. It is way over staffed however, the staff might as well be cardboard cutouts of people for the quality of service they offer. Clearlly, nobody here cares about anything except keeping up with the internal gossip.
There are plenty of other places to go to watch the game and have a nosh. Go anywhere but here.

Always been a fan of OBW. This location is pretty good. Parking can get weird sometimes, but that’s normally not an issue.

Horrible food. Dirty and the food was terrible. Got a philly cheese steak, (I know its a wing place), but they put TERRIYAKI SAUCE ON the big gross glumps of bad meat. one bite was all i needed. when i took it back, and asked for a cheeseburger, I re-​read the menu to see what happened, no mention of terriaki sauce anywhere. I tried it with an open mind, but it was that thick corn syrup fresh from a can terriyaki sauce-​horrible Ok, ive seen some stupid food ideas, but c’mon.
The cheeseburger had no seasoning at all on a cold and old bun. –at least close the bag from wal mart, where im sure thats where they got the frozen patties. YUCK, sucks, could have eaten my $ 10 bill for more satisfaction.

Fresh, delicious, affordable ¹⁄₃ lb burgers. Clean and friendly. Better than any of the chain fast food restaurant. Great to eat local.

I realize this is not the typical reason to give a restaurant five stars but the «good for kids» category simply doesn’t encompass that this place is outstanding for families and kids. They provide an entertainment tablet equipped with a bunch of games for all ages. My 3 year old likes to play the hot potato and car traffic game.
They have funny little paper hats that are cheesy but festive and we always wear them because they make us feel silly and laugh.
Food is great too, their menu will blow your mind.

The wings here are OK. I like Wing Stop wings a bit more; they have more dry rubs, which I enjoy more than oily or vinegary sauces. The chips are homemade, but the fries at Wing stop are way better. Honestly, nothing can beat Smitty’s Wings & Things in Stockton, CA. If you think these wings are good, boy oh boy, you have NO idea what you’re missing out on. Smitty’s has the biggest wings, the best flavors, and the crunchiest skin. But OG Buffalo Wings is pretty good, plus they deliver

I can’t stand the know nothings that complain about OBW! These are the best wings west of the Mississippi!!! And I say that because I haven’t been east of the Mississippi yet to try any. So don’t complain when we have the BEST right here.

I came with my family to this location for the first time today. We’d been to others before. The food was the same as all the other locations; I’m mostly writing a review to rave about our server, Alec. He was very attentive, always checking in on us to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. He was great!

My boys love OBW and the staff is great too, they always remember our name when we call, the wings and fries are always fresh and hot and its a great deal for a great product, they buy their wings from Petaluma Poultry so they support local business and we like to do the same!

You really can’t do better. You wish they had a nicer building, but the food is wonderful every time. If you want wings in Petaluma go here.

The wings are awesome! Best OBW I’ve experienced. Sometimes inconsistent with the fries but, it isn’t named Original Crispy Fries. If you want epic wings at an affordable price, look no further.

They have the best wings around. Crispy and flavorful. I go there for the cheese steak sandwiches, which are mind blowing when you taste them for the first time. The big thing that seperates those sandwiches is their teriyaki sauce they add. Ridiculous.
We’ve gone enough for the family to recognize us and say hi and that’s exactly the kind of relationship you want in a mom and pop run shop.

I was looking at my past review and was surprised that it was in 2008, I feel like I just wrote it yesterday.
In the 4 years since my last review, nothing has changed. This place is every bit as good as it was 14 years ago when I first started frequenting them. I doubt I’ll ever stop coming…
