My boyfriend and I always eat at the In-N-Out on our way back from his grandparents house in Point Arena. I love the double cheeseburger with the spread. And my boyfriend always get a plan double cheeseburger. Sometimes I even get the animal fries where the fries are covered in the spread of the burger.

The most disappointing in n out trip I’ve had. Maybe they were just having an off day, but that would be hard considering how slow it is in the joint. Two stars for the fries and the nice people.

Your typical In n Out. Drive through was pretty fast on a Saturday afternoon and inside was clean. This location is right off the freeway so it’s very convenient for commuters.

Dude, it’s In-N-Out, what do you want? hahaha. It’s consistently great. If you want an In-N-Out burger, go here. They always handle my weird off menu orders well, it’s always perfectly IN-N-OUT! Sometimes people rate chains down based off the fact that they are chains but In-N-Out has always consistently been a great place for a burger my entire life and this one exactly that. They’re probably my favorite«fast» food burger place of all time too. Oh and the person complaining about the water below, that’s not the In-N-Out, that is Petaluma. Our tap water is freakin’ gross. Same with Novato, they can’t really do anything about that.

This In an Out sucked… I know hard to believe. Something is wrong with there water. It makes the sodas taste really bad… It took em forever to get us our food… an it wasn’t as good as normal. Fries were a little cold. By the way we asked about the bad soda… The guy says he knows… We won’t be going back to that In an Out. I suggest you skip it as well.

Michael is the bomb. Came in with a party of 7 people and Michael went above and beyond our expectations. Best service ever.

The staff here are very friendly, and they all seemed to be smiling even though it was crazy busy. I placed my order the food came within 8ish min for being busy. When I received my food I noticed that I did not get animal style fries like I ordered. When I mention it to the guy he quickly fixed it and apologized. He was so kind he even brought it to my table. The only thing I would say about this In and Out is that it could use a sweep more often and the tables could use a bit more more love(i.e. Sanitized rag to them). But I do appreciate the amazing customer service and delicious food. For that you get 4 stars.

Burgers and fries with long lines. Yawn. I went here for some burgers for the kids and it wasn’t cheap and it took forever. Won’t be going back.

Eaten here 5X. It’s a In & Out. As with all, crazy busy at traditional meal times. Food no different than any other outlet. If you’re a fan and passing thru Petaluma, great. And like me, if you’re not a big In-N-Out fan, there are close by alternatives with a much better burger. Go towards downtown. See: Walnut Park Grill.

In and Out is classic! There was a girl standing in the drive thru taking my order, followed by two windows — the first one for pay and the second one for pickup. Now that’s what I call speedy service. I ordered a double cheese with fries — both«animal style»(secret menu!!! Shhh).

This is the slowest In-N-Out that I have ever been to. The drive thru has two entrances which make it hard for drivers. Normal In-N-Out’ have cones or some system to avoid this two-entrance way. Cars also cannot back out as drive-thru cars block the parking spots. Cluster puck if you ask me.

I would give this place a 3.5 if I could, but I like to give the benefit of the doubt. This was my very first ever In-N-Out experience. Service was fine, and the restaurant was clean enough – I just wasn’t particularly overly impressed with the food. Yes, the ingredients are good… but coming from an area of the country where that’s fairly common practice(Seattle), good ingredients don’t make it «special” – they make it «normal». It’s a slightly better than average fast food burger – don’t let anyone fool you into thinking In-N-Out is anything more than fast food. Maybe my expectations were just too high, and I wasn’t by any means displeased, just unimpressed. Thanks for giving me my first In-N-Out experience, guys. I’ll for sure swing into In-N-Out over other fast food restaurants next time I’m in CA – but with adjusted expectations.

First off, I love In and Out. I eat here 1 – 3 times a week. i would normally give 5 stars for a place like this, BUT they are so inconsistent with the fries it’s ridiculous. I order my Animal fries«well done» EVERYTIME and if I come here before 10 pm they will not be well done. They serve me Regular fries and they call them well done straight to my face… However If I come here on a weekend usually after 10pm and order «Animal Fries Well Done», I get crispy/crunchy light-mid browned fries that are perfectly well done. I have complained directly to the manager. who gave me free coupons. GREAT but that only pacifies the situation for that moment. I have even called the 1800# on the receipt and they were super-friendly and the guy on the other end knew what I was talking about, they gave me free coupons and a follow-up call telling me they told their staff about the problem and wanted to see how it was. but I hadn’t used the coupons yet. …Go figure, I finally use them and they still give me regular fries. WTF?! So frustrating because I spend so much money here, but I guess I have to deal with it. Maybe I’ll become THATGUY who always complains every visit, if I have to do that to get my fries right I will. I’m just glad reading the other reviews have the same not-crispy/soggy fry complaints that I have, now I don’t feel crazy.

I come here when I am craving a good cheese sandwich on a yummy bun:) Oh and those fries and shake! Yes, I am a vegetarian, and I am always glad they accommodate such request. Out of the In-N-Out Burger places I have been too, this is the nicest, friendliest, cleanest and quickest that I have been to so far. Then again, they are not a higher volume location, but hey that is to anyone’s benefit. So side tip, if you are doing Meatless Mondays, or wanting a break for meet, get the cheese melted up in their yummy bun. I would advise to say no tomato, sauce, onions, lettuce, it tastes better:)

Stopped here on my way to Santa Rosa. All I wanted was some fries. The drive thru line was long. So I went inside. Line inside, there was not. I placed my order for to go. One fry to go she yelled. Got my fries in 10 seconds. Happy I got my fries so fast. Back to my car I went. Started driving as I ate. Fries were kind of soggy. Next time I might get a well done fries here.

Love at first bite. The first thing my husband and I had to do when we got to California was visit In-N-Out Burger. It definitely lived up to the hype, IMO. You can’t beat a $ 2 hamburger topped with lettuce, tomato and onion! Service was quick, restaurant was clean and the food was delicious — especially after 7 hours on a plane. My only complaint is about the parking situation, which isn’t ideal. We had to loop around a couple times to find a spot.

Not that I need to convince anyone, but try the animal style fries! There aren’t other fries like these one; fresh and crispy. But you really do need to eat them right away. Even sitting for 10 – 15 minutes will ruin them. In terms of burgers, you gotta do it double double. I always get protein style which is wrapped in crisp lettuce rather than a bun. Save lots of calories this way, and I personally think it tastes better!

All I wanted were burgers to take with us to Petaluma Valley Brewing. I got them, I guess, I just had to wait almost 10 minutes in a nearly empty In n Out lobby while I sat there in direct view of the line, observing all the little high schoolers take their sweet time making the food while they flirted with each other. I hope In n Out takes precautions against teenage hormones getting into the food. Imagine the headlines. FOCUS, KIDS. THISIS A BUSINESS, NOTANICECREAMSOCIAL.

Ok. I don’t get it. I’ve been hearing about the wonders of In-N-Out for years. Our fries were cold-ish and underdone(?? — or something to make them stodgy and like cold oil) & the place was teeming with flies. Which, yes, can be attributed to the hot weather, but still. It wasn’t cool. It was alright, but maybe we just didn’t try a great location.

These burgers go right up there with White Castle and Shake Shack. Except, in all honesty, the In-N-Out burger is a completely different animal — two separate quantities entirely. In-N-Out burger is a gourmet burger that’s served in a fast food setting. There’s quality beef patties — as many as you want. A true beefy flavor comes through on these bad boys. Clearly salted and served medium — if you order your burger medium rare it will come with a pinkish middle. When you bite into this hamburger, there’s an explosion of beef juice. The meat is tender and moist. Yellow American cheese drips into the meat as it melts on top of the patty(or patties). High quality buns — a potato bun that seems to hold together the sandwich whether you order a single or a triple. Fresh tomatoes, fresh lettuce, fresh onions. I’ve had much worse toppings on far more expensive burgers with super fancy blends of meat. There’s an entire«secret» menu that you can call upon when placing your order. For example, ordering your burger«animal style» will get you a regular burger patty that is grilled in mustard and onions and comes with pickles and extra sauce — absolutely my favorite. My other favorite is the«2×4:» this beast is two hamburger patties with four slices of cheese. Fries can be ordered with melted cheese or not. Crispy crinkle cuts. Don’t waste precious stomach space on the fries — order an extra burger prepared a different way — you won’t regret it. Honestly, these burgers were so good that we ended up going to In-N-Out burger three times in under twenty four hours — once at my urging at 11:00am directly following breakfast, we stopped at the first one we passed. Next time after the pre-wedding drinks reception later that night and finally, the next day on our way to the airport. Shake Shack is excellent. White Castle is good. In-N-Out Burger is other worldly.
